Seesaws are a lot of fun, but they can also be dangerous. If you're not careful, you can get hurt on a seesaw. Here are some tips to stay safe on a seesaw: 1. Don't stand on the seesaw. This may seem like a no-brainer, but it's important. If you stand on the seesaw, you can fall off and get hurt. 2. Don't lean too far forward or back. To balance your teeter-totter, you need to have an equal amount of weight on each side. You can do this by adding weight to one side or by moving people around.

Is a teeter-totter a fulcrum?

A teeter-totter is not a fulcrum. A fulcrum is a point on which a lever rests or pivots. The fulcrum of a teeter-totter is at the center, where the two beams are joined. The weight of the person on one end of the teeter-totter causes that end to go down, while the person on the other end goes up.

Gym Dandy Spinning Teeter Totter - Impact Absorbing Kids Playground Equipment - 360 Degree Rotation Review:

My son absolutely adored the pendulum-style teeter totter from Gym Dandy, and I wrote a review for it because it was well crafted for the price (I also posted some tips on performance mods). I finally gave in and bought this one too after much deliberation, and I'm pleased I did.Despite its rating, this item is a ton of fun and is probably considerably stronger than what is indicated in the specifications.Having said that, since children can use it till they become bored, this device should last for years. If kids don't grow up to be like me, they will probably outgrow it mentally before physically.A couple of ideas. One negative review that I read claimed it was risky. Yes, this is not appropriate for young children or newborns. This is a toy for energetic kids that have a little common sense. It also wouldn't hurt to have adult supervision until they start using good judgment. Even if you scrape your knee or experience a few bumps as a result of this, a negative review is not warranted. You wouldn't put a 2- or 3-year-old on skis and send them down a double black diamond, but it doesn't mean you should give a pair of skis a poor evaluation. This is a fantastic product that will have youngsters playing outside of the house. Here are some advice. I weigh 200 pounds, my wife 130 pounds, and my 35-pound son all fit without any trouble on one side. I'm only stating that to show how powerful it is; your results may differ and you should use discernment. To lessen the teeter-totter motion, you can spin a child on one side while tying a bag of sand or weight to the other. To halt the teeter-totter motion and just receive merry-go-round motion, you can also insert something. If you have a strong stomach, you can spin this device so quickly that it makes you feel sick. That is what I consider to be a job well done. Recommended.

Nova Microdermabrasion Kids Seesaw Swivel Teeter-Totter Home Playground Equipment, 360 Degrees Rotating Safe, Outdoor Fun for Kids, Toddlers, Boys, Children (2 Seats) Review:

fantastic stuff sturdy, free of jagged edges, complete with all necessary pieces, and simple to put together. The seat is a fair size and the colours are vibrant. It may undoubtedly be utilised both inside and outside. Since it isn't too large, I would think toddler to 4, possibly 5. An older youngster might grow bored easily, but given that it also swivels, it might keep their interest? This week, hopefully when my grandkids are playing outside, I'll post an update.

Grow'n Up Heracles Seesaw Review:

What a great 360 seesaw! I was looking for one more item to finish my little outdoor play area, and when I spotted it, I knew it would be entertaining. However, I was unsure how suitable it would be for two children, ages 2 and 4, who had distinct physical characteristics and weights. To stop kids from bashing their feet, I was thinking of obtaining a different model with a small stump under the seat. As you can see in the video, my kids are having a joy using it about 5 minutes after I finished putting it together. I'm so happy I decided to proceed with this seesaw.I really want to give it five stars, but I'm unable to do so because one minor component was missing. We were fortunate to find a suitable alternative at home because it wasn't critical.

Gym Dandy Teeter-Totter Home Seesaw Playground Set TT-210 Review:

Strong, a lot of fun, and weather resistant! We keep ours outside, all the time. It has been with us for three years. Although the seats appear to be cracked and sun-faded, there are currently no rips or holes in them. When the time comes I will have them reupholstered, but they remain outside all year long, and have never had to oil it or anything. My children, who range in age from 6 to 9, continue to use it frequently, and I saw that the neighbors had just bought one for their kids after seeing ours! Even adults can play on it! Never tips, and the color of the metal has not faded in the least!UPDATE: I saw the seat was tipped so I walked out and it came right off. I was unable to reupholster it since the padding covered rotten timber. The other seat is the same way. HOWEVER... I called the firm, Impex, and inquired if they could replace the chairs. I had to provide them the model number which is TT210, The seats are only $10 each! Shipping

Little Tikes Classic Whale Teeter Totter Review:

Amazing!! My sons adore it. Even more incredible, it was completely assembled when it arrived, so all we had to do was remove it from the box and give it to them. Check out this one if you're searching for one. Very robust, roomy, and my three-year-old and five-year-old (who is a huge boy) fit on it just fine.

Costzon Kids Seesaw, 360 Degree Swivel Rotating, Spinning Teeter Totter for 2 Children with Soft Ball Cushions, Safe Seesaw Bouncer Teeter Totter, Both Outdoor&Indoor Suitable Review:

OMG! The little ones adored it! Our three children, ages 4, 3, and 2, had a great time over the holidays. It was kept indoors because Michigan is a chilly state, but it was by far the best toy for the kids. It might not be a good toy if you don't have two children who are roughly the same weight. Remember that the toy rotates AND goes up and down. Well constructed and well-designed, but the very extremities of the legs are showing indications of rust. Perhaps the maker should rustcoat the interior inch or so of the legs and other places that have bare metal (just ends of pieces). When my 3-year-old grandson was asked what his favorite part of the holiday break was at school today, he said, "Going to Grammie's house and playing on the seesaw!" Nice present! PS: The two-year-old found it a little bit much, but with enough practice, she will be great. She could handle moving up and down, but disliked spinning around since it was difficult for her to maintain equilibrium.

Pure Fun Heavy Duty 360 Kids Swivel Seesaw, Indoor or Outdoor Review:

It was purchased for my grandkids. With the exception of the bolts, all the parts were well marked, and assembly only took a few minutes. There are three different lengths, all quite similar in size, making it difficult to distinguish between them. Kids enjoy it.

Pure Fun 360 Quad Swivel Kids Seesaw, Indoor or Outdoor, Ages 3 to 10 Review:

fantastic stuff My 3- and 4-year-olds adore it. They frequently play on it. Except for a few areas, it appears to be fairly durable. Seats appear to be flimsy. Where you hold on, the padding is prone to tearing. It must be carefully put together so that it fits in the right place. However, a great instruction manual. made it simple.
