A tablet can last for 10 years if it is used properly and taken care of. Just like any other electronic, a tablet needs to be kept in a cool, dry place and away from water. The battery should also be regularly charged to keep it working properly.
Yes, the batteries in tablets can be replaced, but it is not always a simple process. Depending on the model of tablet, the battery may be located in a hard-to-reach place, making it difficult to replace. In some cases, it may be necessary to disassemble the tablet in order to replace the battery.
To test your tablet battery, you can use a battery life tester. You can also use your tablet's built-in battery tester. To use your tablet's built-in battery tester, go to Settings > Battery.
If your tablet's battery life has decreased significantly, it's probably time for a new battery. You can also try charging your tablet for a longer period of time to see if that makes a difference. If your tablet dies quickly even after being fully charged, it's time for a new battery.

The battery works perfectly with my T810. The back cover of my tablet was the only part I had trouble with. I had to use a utility knife because the tool that came with it was too blunt to fit in the opening to lift the panel. On the back panel, this resulted in minor scratches. Since I always keep my tablet in a cover and it is merely cosmetic, it is not a major worry for me. However, if appearance is important to you, take care.Battery life has not yet been reviewed. based on fit rating.

The battery I used with my Samsung Tab S 10.5 (SM-T800) tablet was an exact match. In order to disassemble, install, and reassemble my tablet, I used Newpower99's online YouTube video (google it). It took me less than 20 minutes to complete my initial installation using only the tools that included with the battery. After completing one, I could probably complete the other in ten minutes. I suggest first carefully watching the video a few times. I turned on my device after installation, and it powered on as anticipated while displaying a 50% battery charge. I am currently charging the new battery according to instructions, so I can't yet comment on battery life, but I will modify my review if any problems develop. And finally, my order arrived when it was supposed to. I would repurchase from this seller.

When I discovered this battery for only a few dollars, I decided to give it a try because I was about to throw away my wife's Samsung tablet due to battery problems. If you pay attention to opening and removing the old one, the installation should be rather simple, and the fit was excellent. The 10" Samsung tablet has been revived to like-new state after installation and charging overnight. Battery life is currently good. The small tools included were quite useful, and I would highly suggest this battery pack.

I would strongly advise. I decided to try replacing the battery instead of buying a brand-new tablet when I was ready to do so. Absolutely a recommendation. I had no choice but to purchase it given the pricing. My town's "specialty businesses" wanted to charge me $60 or more.It will be rewarding.

Reviewing a battery is possibly one of the hardest tings to do.It goes in as expected. The tools provided are far away from fancy but already kind of an overkill. I have to guess: it is probably cheaper to send out one kit of tools with every battery, whatever device it is going in.There is no documentation provided. An serioulsy, if you need instructions to do the job: don't do it yourself. Ask someone with experience. It is not difficult at all. Just: if it is too difficult for you, your skills and expertise is maybe in a different field. Have someone show you what to do, and you'll do it next time.Ok, if you have the guts to try it anyway: the case opens by inserting the plectrum on the long edge, use your nails to make a start. Guide the plectrum around and the back comes away. Remove the flat wires by detaching the glue-film, then flip up the lock at the other end. Remove the four (4) screws. Detach the battery cable. be very (!) carefully here. You need to lift the white part off the socket. Make sure there is absolutely no force applied to the socket. You CAN break your device here! Have a look at the new plug, you will see how the fingers needs to be moved. Remove old battery by using a little bit of force on the four whaite noses at the outer frame. Comes off easily but also does not fall out by itself. Then put in the new battery, fix the screws. put back in the cables, make sure they go in all the way. Put down the lock. Put on the battery cable.Kind reminder: I am talking in laymens terms, I am not an expert, all work you do is on your own risk. I am not responsible for anything that happens, nor is it the manufacturer or the supplier. See right in the beginning.Oh, and I think batteries love to have complete charge cycles: recharge it fully, use it until the device turns off. At least for the first few cycles. The reward should be a long lifetime. Don't be fooled by the battery being partially charged. This is not an invitation to use it at once but to prevent deep-discharge while in shelf. And speaking of lifetime: I have just installed it, waiting for the first charge to complete. Will check back just shy of six months from now to make a statement about it.

We decided to order a new battery and replace the one in my wife's Galaxy Tab because it was acting strangely and getting too warm at times. I watched a You Tube video that demonstrated how to open the case correctly and access the battery. Much simpler than it appeared on camera. Although the plastic tools included with this new battery were different from those in the video, I was still able to pop ours apart. We'll have to wait and see how this new battery performs over time since the battery that was shipped looked different (generic) than the one that was advertised. In comparison to the ones that came with this battery, the green plastic tool seen in the Amazon photos would have unquestionably performed better.

This thing was a literal drop-in replacement of my ailing OEM battery. Could not have been simpler. Since my old battery had suffered from a fatal case of swellilng, my case was already separated enough to finish pretty quickly with a plastic card— I had done this prior to ordering this kit, as I did not want the screen to break from the pressure. With the back off, the swelling just went out into space, as it were.Removal of the old battery was easy enough, but the connector was a wee bit fiddly— I would have liked a better explanation as to which direction to pull— I so didn't want to break anything. But I wiggled it enough that it eventually let go— note— it pulls straight away from the board, i.e. straight up, if the tablet is laying face down. I did tease the connector loose with a very tiny flat screwdriver. The new one was a perfect match, except that the wires were larger gauge, and I was compelled to use a small tweezers to zig-zag them into the tight confines of the available space. Twisting with the tweezers, one wire at a time, let me pack them in tightly— I was very careful to not nick or damage the insulation. I do appreciate the larger wires, though. 4 tiny screws later? And I was ready to snap the back cover into place— which took all of a minute. I went around the edges twice, to make sure all was fitting tightly.Notebook: The back cover seems to have some function, with regards to WiFi— without it, WiFi range was terrible. Once the cover was replaced? WiFi returned to it's usual strengths. I found that interesting, and a little amusing. The inside of the back cover, was coated in thick metal plating, which was obviously used as a wave guide. (the cover is otherwise entirely plastic, in spite of some of it's coloration)Back to days long between recharges.

Perfect replacement battery. My only concern is that the adhesive strips are not sticking as well as they should do. (Star off for that.)If you are tackling the replacement yourself, check out YouTube for instructional videos. One commenter here gave a low rating because ithe kit didn't come with instructions. Maybe a link to a video would have helped but there are plenty out there in YT land, and I'd recommend watching more than one before you start work on replacing the battery. Careful when removing the glass—there are connectors at the bottom right side of the iPad—using the wrong tool here could damage them and you'll need to replace more than the battery. Most videos show someone using a hot air gun to remove the glass; you can use a hair dryer and you'll get the same results, it just takes a little longer.Set aside plenty of time to do the work. Get some Goo Gone, rubbing alcohol, and lots of q-tips to clean up the old adhesive, and make sure display and glass are extremely clean before reassembly (you don't want to see a smudge behind the glass after it's been reassembled!).If you are even a little technically inclined then buy the kit and save yourself some money by replacing the battery yourself. Everything you need comes supplied except for patience!

A high-quality battery and all required tools are included in the kit. But unless you believe yourself to be really technical and skilled with your hands, I wouldn't recommend trying this fix. Be advised that there are no instructions included in the kit, so you are on your own. To figure it out, you'll be relying on shady YouTube videos.Several observations: My iPad's original battery swelled so dramatically that it lifted the screen off on one side. It worked out well because it saved me from having to do half the screen removal effort. You may find it difficult to remove your screen without causing any damage if it is still firmly fastened all the way around. Around the right edge of the bottom button, exercise extreme caution. Right there is a delicate ribbon cable. The old battery was glued in place VERY STRICTLY. It must have been damaged when I removed it, and that's kind of risky. Be cautious. A strong Li-Ion battery shorting out is no laughing matter.Once the screen is removed, you only need to remove one tiny screw. Really, TINY! Keep it together. The magnetic screwdriver that is included is useful. It's a huge pain to get the battery connector to fit back under the slot where the screw was removed. You'll need to interrogate people while swearing and poking them. The screen stayed back down firmly without the additional sticky strips, so I opted not to use them. There is no doubt that Apple does not want you to attempt this fix yourself. Take your iPad to an Apple Store and pay the $100 for the repair if you're unsure about your abilities. Overall, things went well for me, although I work with little parts while repairing antique watches and I'm an IT man. This was still a challenge for me.

I purchased this battery from Amazon because my iPad had been out of commission for two years. All the tools required to do the job are included in the box, but installing the batteries will be considerably simpler if you watch a YouTube video instead. Thank you, the battery life is precisely the same as the original item.

Yes, it is perfectly fine to leave a tablet plugged in all the time. In fact, it is actually recommended to do so in order to keep the battery in tip-top shape.
