TL;DR: Choosing this table is a wise move if you want a good mid-grade table for home use.This table was recently set up following the scheduled arrival, which is a great idea for big goods like this. and I have to say, I'm impressed.Pros: - Price: While it is undoubtedly a "middle level" table, the $400 price tag is reasonable given the superb craftsmanship and "medium level" status.- Installation: As other reviewers have noted, it just requires eight bolts, which is really simple compared to other Ping Pong table setups I have completed.- Quality: This table is MID-GRADE! Don't expect anything related to professional status! However, this table is sturdy and bounces appropriately. Again, this is not a professional setup, but for home or recreational use, it is entirely fair and meets (if not exceeds) your expectations given the cost.- Two-piece design: Having never owned a two-piece table, I now see how foolish I was to wait so long to get one because it folds up much more easily and takes up far less space than a traditional fold-up table.- Net clips: Once again, I've always bought low-quality tables, but these net clips are seriously awesome since they not only level the centre of the table properly on both sides, but they also mount on either side in just a few seconds, making setup and deconstruction comically simple.- One-person assembly: It took me around 15 minutes to assemble the table by myself. It greatly eases the issue overall (see pics for explanation).- Additionally, I advise being cautious and avoiding overtightening the bolts. You are good to go once your washer begins to deform; any further deformation will reduce its durability.

I like to play a lot, but I also have to watch my money. I chose the GamePoint since it was $100 cheaper (@299) than the next equivalent table with the split halves and 5/8" surface. I particularly enjoy the split halves because they take up so little space when I do need to store them. When putting it up to play, I've never had any trouble aligning the two sides. I was pleasantly impressed at how nicely the clip-on net held. Everything appears to be well constructed. I'm pleased with this table so far and will definitely get it again.Shipping: Although the box had a small dent, the packing preserved the table. To keep everything secure, cardboard was adhered to paperboard, and plastic corner bumpers were used. They moved it into the room I had prepared for it at the exact time of the planned delivery. I had no problems with the packaging or transportation.Assembly: This was incredibly simple. Literally, you just need to tighten 8 bolts. In essence, you are joining the legs to the casters.Play: The surface is flawless in my opinion; there are no warping or defects.

This table is great for casual play, but I'd be disappointed if it were utilized in a tournament (I can hear the difference). The XPO representatives opened the box upon delivery so I could check for damage. Construction proceeded fairly smoothly. Due to their plastic gasket, the nuts were a little challenging to hold in place while screwing the bolts. I inserted the bolt with one wrench while holding the nut with the other. Although one of the holes was slightly out of alignment, it could be fixed by loosening and repositioning the bolt. It was a little challenging to set the table up after assembly. I did it alone and discovered that if I set it to the side, I could stand it upright without assistance. I have to move the legs out just a little bit to turn the table from vertical to horizontal; otherwise, they get stuck trying to go the wrong way. There were a few minor flaws in the tabletop, but nothing that would interfere with gameplay. The wheels can be difficult to swivel but roll smoothly nonetheless with a little pressure applied in the proper location. Overall, the play is excellent, and switching from full table to single-player practice is not too difficult. High-quality net is simple to tighten. Would repurchase.

This is the table you want if you're thinking about cost, build quality, and cautious handling during packaging and shipment. It was wonderful after everything was unpacked and the games began. Amazing craftsmanship went into the design and general aesthetic.It truly takes 20 minutes to set up, as said. Try searching on YouTube or visit the Joola website to watch their installation video. It will demonstrate how simple it is to assemble the table. I do suggest using 2 persons to lift it because it is heavy. Once upright and once the wheels are mounted, the table's two pieces are relatively simple to transfer to the desired location. Additionally, the internet installs quickly!However, there are no UNPACKING guidelines. The weight of this box, when transported by ordinary carrier, is 197 pounds. I'll describe what I did in each image to make the process of removing everything from the shipping container and getting it ready to go as simple as possible. Hope it's useful!1. A photo of the packaging after delivery. Ensure that it is facing up as indicated. It will be much harder to unpack everything if you try to do so with the box on its side.2. I applied the following three tools. A box cutter, in (A). I cut the tape first and went around on all four sides. (B) A screwdriver with slots. (C) Pliers in a set3. A photo of the staples that I once again removed from all four sides before making an attempt to remove the top cover. I pry them off with the screwdriver until I can grab them with the pliers and pull them out the rest of the way. Even though there are only 10–12 staples altogether, it can be difficult to break the cardboard apart because they are firmly stapled in.4. After removing the top cover, take a picture. The cover will easily come off if all the staples are taken out and the tape is cut.5. Box cutters or scissors are required to cut the nylon strapping.6. Four hardwood planks are covered in cardboard and fastened to the inside of the top cover to add additional protection. This prevents any of the product from shifting while being transported. The top of the box did sustain some damage, but the additional layer of protection did a terrific job overall.7. Additionally, there are 4 rubber bumpers at each corner.8. The last thing you need to take apart is the table's two halves. Again, it is advised that two people transport it to its ultimate location for assembly due to its mass and weight.9. Supporting documents.ADVANCED NOTE: Make sure the table is as level as you can get it, and lock all eight wheels into position by pulling the lever on each one. In order to keep the table from moving while playing, it greatly helped to tie it in place.This is a must-have purchase if you want a high-quality, professionally manufactured ping pong table for your home. Despite having the table for a short time, I've already played a lot of games. initial impressions One gouge in the box caused a little scratch on the surface, but it was close to the net and not severe enough to cause the table to be rejected. Simple to put together in around 30 minutes. Each component was present, along with the necessary number of assembling tools. Although the top is considerably thinner than anticipated and sounds very different when playing than the wood table it replaced, this is not a problem. Given that we are utilizing the table in a covered outdoor space, the high gloss finish of the blue table top clearly creates a significant amount of glare. This glare is so awful that it causes a visual issue for the players. I'm going to get in touch with the maker to ask if they have any solutions to provide. We will compare the new metal-covered table to the one we replaced, which had a three-quarter-inch wood top, in a "bounce test" out of curiosity. The final "initial impression" is that the metal top, with whatever coating it has that gives it the glossy sheen, doesn't appear to accept or take the spin a player could purposefully apply to the ball. Last month, we purchased a less expensive table from another business. It was damaged when delivered. One of the corners was crushed when it was dropped since the other company's packaging was poor. So, despite the fact that it cost more, we returned it and bought this table instead. With this table, we are genuinely happy. For the patio in the backyard, our family desired a ping pong table. We looked into a variety of outdoor tables before settling on this particular type. I wanted a table that was easily portable, didn't cost a fortune, and had favorable reviews for being a "outside" table. These were all checked off at this table. My 12- and 14-year-old boys have already used it effectively. We will leave it primarily exposed throughout the dry months because we live in N-California. We did decide to get two tablecloths, though. A Covermate cover that extends over the table when it is in the play position, as well as a Kettler cover that is covered when the table is in the upright position, which would be during the wet months. When not in use or over night, the Covermate cover will do an excellent job of keeping pollen and dust off. Our favorite aspect of this table is its surface. Overall, the table seems to be of decent quality, and we just want to use it for five nice years. Regarding installation, my wife took her time and put the table together in approximately 30 minutes. My main concern was how the table would seem and whether it would be marred by dents and scratches. We encountered absolutely no problems, and the package was rather impressive. This appears to be a wise investment for our family.

Since I was around 6 or 7, I've loved playing table tennis. I always used a full-size table when I played. My wife and I, who will soon turn 68, haven't owned our own table in more than 25 years, and we recently downsized into a smaller house with no room for a full-size ping pong table. So we took a chance on this JOOLA Midsize and, within minutes, had it standing firmly on a carpeted floor in our basement family room where we have plenty of space all around it to play a spirited game and get a good workout to boot. We haven't been able to stop playing on it since it came a week ago. I'm astonished at how easily my wife and I were able to modify our playing strategies to fit this tiny table. We adore it and can't wait to introduce the game to our two grandchildren, who are 5 and 8 years old. It is ideal for both young and old. Building was simple: Place two half tables next to each other where you want to play, open the connecting legs on each half table, and then attach the net. I'm done now! It is, in my opinion, really elegant, well-made, and durable. It can be easily stored if disassembled, with the legs folded back under each half table. Although there are no wheels under the legs, the table is not overly heavy and can be moved around the floor easily by one or two persons with minimal effort. If I'm not mistaken, the middle school where I taught for 34 years had 10 of these tables in its cafeteria for use before and after school. The PE instructor also used them for a few weeks each semester in the gym. This ping pong table is absolutely faultless. In the future, we'll purchase a full-size JOOLA outdoor table to utilize in our garage, but in the interim, I believe this midsize table is providing us with about equal amounts of enjoyment and exercise as a full-size table would. After spending a few months honing our ping pong skills on just one midsize table, it will be interesting to watch how we adapt our playing methods to the full-size. However, because variety is the spice of life, I believe it will be a lot of fun to be able to play on either table when the time comes. I wholeheartedly and unequivocally advocate purchasing this JOOLA midsize table tennis table because you won't regret it. Also, the cost is reasonable. When we get around to getting the full-size table, we anticipate paying roughly $600, so the $154 we paid for this one doesn't seem at that excessive. You might even be able to find it for cheaper if you wait a time. I'm glad we didn't wait for a sale price because we weren't prepared to do so. Now I look forward to my wife asking, "Anyone up for a game of ping pong?" every day. Unless I say so beforehand!

This is what I bought to put on top of my air hockey table. With a few minor adjustments, this setup, which was simple to do, is currently serving us well. The top of the air hockey table had various score keeping devices attached, which prevented the table from sitting level. The top of the air hockey table now sits level thanks to some rubber spacers/feet that I purchased and fastened into place. However, that issue was with my air hockey table, not this product, so I do not hold that against it.Only two minor issues do I have with this top. One of the internet posts arrived first utterly broken. I learn that this happens frequently from reading other reviews. After getting in touch with Joola, I received a replacement net set in my mailbox a few days later. Very simple, and excellent service. Just be ready for that scenario. The second is that the two sides of the table are very slightly out of alignment due to the seam that runs down its center length, where the hinges are located on the bottom. Because it is so small, you can't even tell by looking at it, but you can feel it if you run your palm along it. Every now and then, the ball will strike it precisely, changing the trajectory's direction. Our new house rule states that we must simply chuckle, call "SEAM!" and replay the shot when this occurs since it makes us giggle. A very little inconvenience, but be aware of it nonetheless. If you're playing competitive championship-level table tennis, you're not looking at this anyhow.Overall, I'm delighted I bought it and we are having a great time with it!
