Simply Organic Basil Certified Organic, 0.54-Ounce Container Review:

I recently used up the last of my old spices and threw them out. I began from scratch and placed orders for all Simply Organic substitutes. It wasn't a cheap second chance, but it was well worth it. These spices have an incredible flavor. I'm unsure of how I survived without them in the past because they are so vibrant and full of subtleties. And they are all organic, which makes me happy! With these, you can't go wrong; they are well worth the money. I'm ecstatic right now!(I will repeat this review for the other spices I purchased because I can't rave about them enough and if I got to number 12 or 14, I'd just be repeating myself!) Enjoy and use these! They are incredible!)

Gel Spice Parsley Flakes Food Service Size 16oz (1lb) Review:

A large quantity of dried parsley for a fair price. When I first split the seal, I was struck by how fragrant and fresh the perfume was, and what a lovely rich, natural hue of green these flakes were, as if they had just been freshly gathered from living plants and meticulously dried. The packaging's large, sturdy top and wide opening make it simple to maintain the food's freshness and access it with measuring spoons and cups. Will shortly place another order.

Frontier Co-op Basil Leaf, Sweet, Cut & Sifted, Certified Organic, Kosher, Non-irradiated | 1 lb. Bulk Bag | Ocimum basilicum Review:

I simply adore basil; the perfume transports me back to my Grandmother's kitchen, and there is no match for the flavor, which is lively, a touch sweet, and has a little peppery undertone. Similar to other herbs, dried basil can be used in place of fresh basil in many recipes, with the noteworthy exception of pesto, which prefers fresh basil.Regarding the item you're looking at, Frontier is currently my go-to source for organic herbs and spices. As usual, my basil arrived smelling wonderful and looking lovely. It was the perfect shade of green to let me know the quality was as high as I would expect, with no stems or stray bits that you might find in a lower-quality bulk purchase. It's a lot of basil, but if you store it properly, you can keep it for a year or longer. To do this, simply put the amount you think you'll use within a few months in a small spice jar (I use mason or jam jars for my spices, a tip I learned from my mother), gently squeeze the air out of the bag, tape it shut, and tuck it away in a spare drawer. When you refill your spice jar as needed, you'll get a terrific deal on a high-quality good. Basil is also very versatile. The preferred Italian herb in the US is usually oregano, although basil is a wonderful substitute. Basil is a delicious addition to pizza (particularly one with a beautiful white sauce), spaghetti, and tomato sauce for homemade pies.Of all, basil isn't just for Italian food; do you enjoy curry? I add anywhere between 2 tablespoons and 1/4 cup of basil to my Thai curry dishes, and the bright, clean energy of the basil helps to cut some of the heat and give the dish a nice, fresh flavor. Thai curry is wonderful with some basil, and this will do the trick just fine, no need to get a special variety. It can also be used in Indian cuisine; while most will advise using cilantro in a curry, basil can usually achieve the same results, and given that some people cannot eat cilantro, this is a great substitute.Additionally, winter is almost approaching, and for me, that means tomato soup. Prepare your preferred recipe (or your preferred can or box selection; I won't judge!) It's great, especially if you have a nice piece of crusty bread to go with it, so add some basil.Basil also works well to give salad dressings and marinades some depth, and it tastes fantastic on a fresh vegetarian sandwich. And there are undoubtedly many other gems as well! It's apparent that you are intrigued if you have read this far in the review. Therefore, go ahead and get some; there are far worse pleasures available than a large bag of lovely, organic basil.

McCormick Basil Leaves, 0.62 oz Review:

Excellent grade herbs!I've dried a variety of herbs from the company, and it looks like the review portion is the same for all of them:- Oregano: Simply opening the jar fills the kitchen with Italian pizza-like flavours. Works incredibly well with meals that have a Mediterranean influence, but it's too dry for salads.- Chives: I have never encountered chives with such taste (even fresh). I include them in everything, including soups, salads, chilli, yoghurt, cottage cheese, casseroles, roasted vegetables, rice, and pasta.- Basil: Though on the milder side, the flavour of basil still adds a nice touch. When present, the sifter is sufficient for a light sprinkle. Using spoons when preparing larger portions is more effective.

McCormick Basil Leaves, 5 oz Review:

I wasn't sure if I should buy dried basil (or parsley) or cilantro, but these smell as pungent and recent as dried herbs can possibly smell. A handmade marinara sauce I made with the basil was wonderfully tasty. Because parsley and cilantro can be pricey and can go bad at the shop, I also got those herbs. These McCormick herbs are a great alternative to fresh herbs since I don't have enough sunshine in my house to grow them.

Jackie's Kitchen Basil, 0.75 Ounce Review:

This basil is of high caliber. Rub or crush a small quantity of basil in your hand, taste, and smell it to determine whether it is of high quality. The herbs are past their prime if the aroma is feeble and the flavor is not immediately apparent. It tastes a little acidic and has a piercing, camphor-like fragrance. So this seasoning is good. Basil is a fantastic source of iron, thus it is very healthy for you.The taste of the basil lingers. Typically, adding the herbs at the end of cooking in a crockpot is advised because long cooking durations reduce the herb's potency (which is pretty much how I prepare everything). The problem is that I am not particularly domesticated and prefer to leave things alone. So I started frying it in right away after adding it. I just combined the basil with the salt and pepper when preparing chicken, then sprinkled it on top of the pieces of chicken. After that, I included sauce, cheese, and mushrooms. I could still taste the faintly tart basil flavor even after three hours of cooking and with all those other tastes.A terrific deal for 64 cents!

McCormick Gourmet 100% Organic Basil-2.85 oz Review:

Compared to non-organic basil leaves, these basil leaves keep their flavour and aroma longer. Because I truly taste the difference when I add organic basil to dishes, I had bought a little jar of basil to sample from a nearby grocery store. However, I quickly realised that I was using more basil than I had previously. I found it disappointing that the giant jar is made of plastic as opposed to glass like the tiny jar. In my kitchen, I'm looking for a glass jar. I do not want the taste to be altered by any leaching from the plastic. Anyone who cooks even occasionally will find basil useful, so I believe most people will find the larger size to be worthwhile.

Gel Spice Turkish Bay Leaves ,Commercial Kitchen Size - 8.5 OZ Review:

Since over fifty years ago, I have primarily used bay leaves in soups and stews when I cook. These bay leaves are among the best I've ever used. Excellent flavor and aroma—rich without being overpowering or harsh. Some of the unfavorable reviews I've read for this product have perplexed me. You can anticipate finding a few leaves that are broken, discolored, or have holes in them (which aren't always caused by bug bites) in such a big number as in this enormous buy. However, the prevalence of these flaws is actually relatively low. The overall quality is extremely excellent. Consider it before making a purchase because the quantity is for a cafeteria or restaurant kitchen. (I still have lots; I've given some to the kids and to my favorite pals.)
