High-quality and affordable product. The price is the same as the others, but it includes a fairly robust storage case. If it's tight, I can put on a 6" extension and have plenty of clearance to ratchet away rather than having to turn and then reposition yourself after each rotation. I also liked that it has an opening at the end for a 3/4" ratchet, as a lot of the time it's too close to the spring to get a box wrench over the end.You could have trouble getting the safety bar over a thicker spring since, as others have noted, the bottom hook is a touch shallow. Having said that, I had no problems with it, and as long as you exercise common sense, there shouldn't be any problems at all.

For compressing the coils on my 1999 BWM 323is, these performed fairly well (e36). To get them back over the struts, I did have to physically push down on the top of the coil (the coils were completely compresses at this point). Because the gaps within the coil itself were very large and made it challenging to locate the best locations to utilize the tool, I didn't drop any stars for this. The issue would have existed for any other coil compressor as well.advantages: - hex-shaped socket center screw or 1/2 inch (if I remember correctly) top cutout for a direct impact gun insertionstrong durable, forged metal; detent pins to guarantee hooks stay over the coil;Cons: The depth of the hooks is a touch shallow, making it difficult or impossible to manipulate them into position if you have coils with extremely small gaps between them.Excellent stuff all around. I've used it a few times already without any issues, and I feel very confident using it with a compressed coil. The only thing I would suggest is to lubricate the central screw with extra grease.

I can't answer for those who claim that it buckled on them because I don't think it bent at all. On me, it didn't give way. It is then placed in the box together with all the other incredibly helpful equipment that I am unlikely to ever need again.I do concur with one point made in one of the negative reviews: the package *does* state that a 1/2" socket is required, even though this is obviously untrue. 9/16" is a little too large, though. In actuality, a 13mm socket is needed. Anyone who uses the tool will likely realize it immediately quickly, and since most people who own a 1/2" socket also own a 13mm one, there is no harm done.

I did my homework before deciding to take on a project like paintless dent repair. I probably spent two to three hours watching YouTube videos to learn how to repair my front fenders, which I attempted to accomplish on both of them. A few of channels I would recommend are Dent Force Inc. and Dent Time- San Diego. To sum up the key actions:- To give the adhesive the best chance of bonding to your car, wipe the area with alcohol (with the provided sprayer).- Working from the outside in, use the provided tabs in various sizes and a hot glue gun (not included) to pop out as much of the dent as you can. If the glue gets stuck to your car, use the alcohol spray to soften it. I also pushed out the dents from the interior with the pry bar (by removing the fender lining)-Finally, to work out the fine details, use the provided hammer and pounding tool with various rubber tips.I strongly advise watching few tutorials to determine your level of ability before attempting to complete this task on your own. For myself, the estimates I received for repairing my two fenders from a mobile dent removal business were around $450, and since I had spent the last ten years working on automobiles for simple tasks like oil changes, I felt confident trying this on my own. I spent around 4 hours on each of my fenders, and I'm pleased with the results. I'm relieved that I now have the knowledge and resources I need to handle future paintless dent repairs on my own. The only item missing from this kit was a hot glue gun, but because I already had one, this was not a problem for me.

I'm working on a Jeep project. The coil springs and suspension of all the wheels are one of the key parts I need to replace. Nevertheless, I am also raising the Jeep's height by around four inches. I had to put in considerably larger coils and shock absorbers to accomplish that. The front Springs installation is not at all a simple task. I had bought these spring compressors to help with that. The spring compressors performed reasonably well, but caution should be used while measuring their length, especially when the coil packs are compressed because this will interfere with the other spring casings. However, aside from that, they are practical and simple to use. It finishes its task. The fact that both compressors should be alternatively tightened slowly, one centimeter at a time, is another crucial point to be made here. Despite this, the spring's inclination angle causes the compressor clamps to slide. The tension produced by the spring at one point caused the compressor's bars to bend. But once everything was finished, the bars returned to their usual straight shape. However, ultimately, this is a somewhat difficult task that is not as straightforward as it seems. But you must have this equipment, especially for do-it-yourself projects. I hope the information is useful.

SAFE AND EFFICIENT VALVE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - This toolset is used to easily and safely compress valve springs for removal or installation. The set includes 5 collet sizes for correct and safe fit with almost any automotive or small engine valve spring and cylinder head. Everything needed to remove or install valve springs is contained in the set, including the wide C-Clamp, Pusher, and extension screws.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED - If any component of the toolset is defective, the manufacturer will exchange the product or accept a return. Orion Motor Tech’s outstanding customer service team will reply to any service request within 24 business hours.
SIMPLE OPERATION - Close the coil spring compressor until touching the center rod, and insert the compressor into the coil spring. Compress the spring for removal or installation and only release compression when the spring is set for installation. Compressed springs contain significant stored energy and must be carefully handled and decompressed.
EASY STORAGE AND TRANSPORT - This toolset comes packaged in a high-impact case that holds each part securely. The parts will remain organized and safe while stored or in transport, and the case stacks and stores away conveniently.
SOLID AND DURABLE CONSTRUCTION - The forged steel construction of this set provides superior strength and hardness. The C-Clamp will not bend or twist under the stress of compressing valve springs. The oxide finish on the set components resists rust and corrosion. The surface finish of each part is smooth and provides for easy use under high compression.

Although a touch flimsy, it works well with little engines. The largest item I used it on was a 7.3 IDI diesel from International (about 70 lb valve spring). The tool's c frame did slightly bow outward during this process (it didn't stay bent after being removed), and it didn't like to compress the spring straight down, but it was sufficient to remove the keepers and complete the task, which was more than I had anticipated it would be able to achieve. The only reason I gave this tool 4 instead of 5 stars is because under heavy pressure the end of the extension screw will attempt to thread itself into the pusher because they are not made of hardened steel. My advice is to get a thick hardened washer and place it between the "embedded pusher" and "extension screw." Any little engine or gas engine with valve springs under 60 lb should utilize this tool, in my opinion.

Buy Moog if you want the greatest possible quality. These ball joints are among the best manufactured in the industry. You will travel far distances on or off the road thanks to MOOG'S attention to detail. It's a significant nuisance to replace these ball joints, so I didn't want to risk damaging my F-350 4X4 vehicle by installing a subpar, inexpensive model. These will endure forever (if you grease them regularly).
