This timepiece is based on the original DW-6900 design, the most popular case style for G-Shock watches. It is solar powered and uses multi-band 6 atomic timekeeping, in contrast to the DW-6900.I got this watch because of its exceptional durability and all-around performance. For the price, there is just no comparison. In light of this, you might want to consider the G-Shock Mudman models if budget is not your primary issue and you want a heavier watch with some extra features like a thermometer and a compass. Although every Mudman is solar-powered, not every Mudman has the multi-band 6 atomic timekeeping that this one does.CHARGE OF A SOLAR BATTERYBe patient if, when you initially obtain the watch, the Battery Power Indicator does not increase when you are indoors and exposed to light. I experienced this the first two or three days when I tried to increase the charge from medium to high close to an inside window. My suggestion is to maintain an optimistic outlook. The solar battery is working properly. Just expose the watch to natural light for a few hours. On the third day, I finally became wise and performed it, at which point the Battery Power Indicator increased. It has been on high since that time, which was 34 days ago.OPERATION Using this watch couldn't be easier. It lacks a superfluous thermometer and compass, which are not worth the trouble of setting up for the average individual, especially given that the accuracy of both features is never certain.I appreciate that there is a front button to turn on the light. Many G-Shock versions lack a front button and instead illuminate using the top right side button.Additionally, I enjoy that this watch allows you to navigate through all 48 city codes in both the east and west directions. Some G-Shocks can only scroll one way. Due to how the module and style are configured, they occasionally can only scroll eastward. However, the ability to scroll both east and west is far less awkward.I advise investigating the online Operation Guide, which has extremely clear and succinct product information, if you wish to investigate operation further.Important Hint: The times shown in the World Time Mode and the Timekeeping Mode are connected. As a result, make sure to choose a Home City (the location where you would often wear the watch) PRIOR to setting the time and date. There is simply no better sports watch available for the money. This watch is perfect you if you need something dependable and reasonably priced because G-Shocks can withstand heavy abuse and keep on ticking!Overall, I'm pretty happy with this watch. The watch rests beautifully, and the band is cozy. You can swim with it without any issues thanks to the excellent waterproofing. The back light is sufficiently bright for nighttime face reading. The buttons on the side are a little further into the casing, so if you have large fingers it can be a little unpleasant adjusting the time and other functions. That is my only concern.When compared to the Rangeman, this G-Shock is still a very substantial timepiece. In order to leave the Rangeman at home for BCT, I purchased the GW9052 instead. I was anticipating it to be a little smaller, but in practice, they don't seem that different. Not a horrible thing, but I just wanted to notice it.This watch is fantastic!

Because I already possessed the Corporal SS in all-gold (Black with Nixon Camp Cup), which I thought was a fantastic watch but was simply too dazzling to wear every day, I decided to get this timepiece. After a few months of vacillating between completely distinct looks, I suddenly found myself staring at the blue face back at the starting line. I'm very glad I stayed with Nixon because the watch arrived and is just what I wanted. Just the appropriate amount of shine covers the blue face, making it blend in. The watch's weight is really pleasant to wear; it makes you feel dressed nicely, which you actually are! The watch is carefully wrapped and cradled in a "foam box" right out of the box to prevent damage during transportation. When you take it out of the package, wow, look at the shine! People will notice the name and be interested in learning more about the watch, making this a wonderful conversation starter.I can confidently declare that this watch is of equal quality to my gold and black Corporal SS, and I no longer have to be concerned about wearing a gold watch too flashily. I can take pleasure in the same distinctiveness and style in a different color. The watch face was spotless out of the box with no dust or fingerprints, and it arrived on time with no scuffs or scratches. First of all, I adore the design and color scheme. It is the perfect size—not too small, not too big. Nowadays, there are so many timepieces that appear simply too large, especially for those of us without gorilla wrists.The design of the band loop/retainer is subpar. Because the aperture is too high for the band's thickness, it frequently slides away, causing the band's end to flap around and snag on objects. Since I don't have it with me to measure, the opening height is probably between 8 and 10 mm when it should be around 5 mm. I've been an engineer for more than 20 years, and this lack of detail bothers me. Fortunately, I discovered replacement loops from a different Amazon vendor with an opening of 20mm x 5mm, solving the issue for less than $10.It's challenging to view the digital display, especially for those of us with aging eyes. Between positions 4 and 8, it is also obscured by the hands, but I suppose that should be evident from the design.Although it has been some time, I recall that setting the right time seemed laborious. It's definitely not as simple as it is on some of my other watches.Make sure you get the smaller replacement band loops. Overall, I really like the watch and would recommend it (especially for the price).

The watch arrived from Watch Expo on schedule. It was properly wrapped. Watch looks fantastic and is undoubtedly genuine. It's a big watch, but it doesn't seem too big on me because my wrists are a good size. This watch definitely won't fit if you have tiny baby wrists. I would choose the smaller size. This watch was quite reasonably priced. Below anything else I could find online, actually. I'm happy with my buy. A few days after making the purchase, I got an email from Amazon informing me that I have a 2-year warranty through Amazon/Asurion. This is good because I didn't expect to have any kind of guarantee when I bought from an arbitrary vendor. I cherish Amazon. It was exquisitely packaged—complete with protective labels, tags, and packing from the original manufacturer—and it arrived so swiftly. Beautiful, thick, high-quality leather describes the leather. This watch's finish work is excellent, especially considering the cost. He will likely take pleasure in this for many years. Compared to nearby stores, Amazon offers savings of more than $50. The greatest watch available works as a lifeguard and watersports teacher. I have two of these, and despite the abuse they endure, the sun, and the ocean water without proper care, they have survived. The only issue with them is that when I owned one of the neon-colored models, the bands became extremely soiled and the pigment faded almost immediately, in less than a month. Other than that, it's still working, and I use it to swim laps in the pool while it withstands the chlorine. Love these timepieces!I value the huge numeric display and simple functioning as a lifeguard since they enable me to keep my eyes on the water.

I recently purchased my first Nixon watch, and I have been happy with it thus far.The watch was packaged quite safely and arrived in a tastefully presented box. The watch itself is polished, has an upscale appearance, and is somewhat substantial. If the watch bumps against something, you won't have to worry about it coming off your wrists because the clasp contains two locks: the standard locking mechanism and a smaller lock. I used to be leery and cautious to purchase watches with rectangular faces, but this one has completely changed my view. Since I have small wrists, the watch was a touch big on me, but it would have been comfortable for most others without any modifications. So far, the only drawback I've found with this watch is that it attracts fingerprints. When handling the watch, use caution as it is fingerprint-prone. It's not a big deal because I normally just keep a tiny cloth on me at all times. All things considered, I am very happy with my purchase and will continue to buy Nixon watches and other products from the seller (Crazy Deals LLC).

This watch caught my attention at first since I was looking for a simple, understated timepiece to wear throughout my typical day. This watch has truly outperformed my expectations. Everything arrived quickly and precisely as the seller had promised. The watch has a black, all-metal case and a metal, universal size band. I believe the stone to be exceptionally strong because it has survived normal wear and tear. Although the face is very straightforward, it has a clean, timeless appearance. It may take some practice to adjust the band, but with with perseverance you may get it to fit perfectly. This watch has kept the time without any problems for me. I've had no problems with the watch if it gets wet, despite the fact that it is not water-resistant. Overall, I think this watch looks fantastic and functions just as well as some of my more costly watches. For anyone searching for a straightforward, dependable watch at a reasonable price, I would suggest this.

I placed this order on September 29 and it was delivered to me two days later (prime shipping). The watch is immaculate. The Nixon 51-30 is precisely as pictured, and it looks fantastic with the clothes I wear it with. I wear it more frequently to work every day, and almost every time I do, I get praises. Although it weighs more than the usual watch, the craftsmanship and design are unsurpassed. The pricing is unparalleled through any retail chain, especially with Amazon Prime and the discount (32%). This is without a doubt my favorite watch or clothing item that I have ever owned.
