I wore all kinds of skateboard shoes growing up, but the one pair of Etnies I owned a few years back stuck in my mind because they combined comfort, style, and toughness. I recently started experiencing pain in the ball of my foot, and after doing some research, I concluded that it was likely caused by the new shoes I had been wearing because they were narrower than usual. I made the decision to switch back to a wider shoe, and I was going to test Etnies once more in particular. When I spotted them, I really liked that they didn't have a ton of graffiti art and other junk on them. I was looking for something that might pass as a casual/office shoe without making me look like I was trying to be 17 again. Aside from the Michelin brand for traction, I appreciated that they used Michelin rubber for the sole because I had experienced the soles of a few pairs of my Sketchers coming apart. Even though there was a short break-in period, they were comfortable right out of the box when I received them, and I liked them even more than I did when I first saw them online. I can honestly say that after a few months of wearing them, these are my all-time favorite shoes. They look fantastic, hold up well, and are quite comfy. On fact, after switching to them, the pain in the ball of my foot vanished! I wholeheartedly endorse these shoes and intend to purchase a second pair in the future.

My two boys skate and ride bikes, but I'm not sure if what they do on the bikes could be classified as riding; it's more like controlled abuse.The difference in quality is enormous; my oldest son, who uses his foot as a brake, punctured the sole of a competitor's shoe in one day. I bought them their first pair of DC's many years ago, and we have tried other shoes as well. None of the other shoes have ever withstood the punishment these kids put them through.I was convinced after that and have only bought DC's for them ever since, so I bought myself a pair, going one size up as I have done for them, because I am not as hard on my kicks as they are. I wear them to work and I can't recall ever wearing a more comfortable shoe because I'm on the go all day and the last thing I think about is my feet. They are such a great pair of shoes that I have now purchased three pairs. Before I ultimately had to replace them, each pair lasted about two years. Finding shoes that fit my extremely large feet in my size (11), however, is difficult. I keep going back to these shoes because they feel comfortable. I also enjoy how they seem as a whole. I'm glad I can still purchase them now, considering how much I detest shoe shopping.However, I do have one issue. The sole on the underside where it bends as I walk on both of my prior pairs ended up that exact same manner. Since each pair lasted approximately two years before this occurred, it's not really a big concern. They are my go-to shoes, so they get really banged up, so I'm quite sure my own use is contributing to damage as well. It would be good if they could find a solution to that problem, but because 2 years is a long time to keep a pair of shoes, I would likely replace them in the same period of time.

I bought these here because they weren't available locally in my size, and they were also cheaper here! Since I did a tiny amount of skating in middle school, I've worn Etnies. Since then, I've been using them as my go-to walking shoes when I'm not wearing work boots. These seem to be the most comfortable to me because they are flat and light weight, and I wander around my house barefoot (within). If the situation or timing were right, I'd choose these over any other pair of shoes or work boots. They do get really wet (moderate rain or washing a truck), they have two holes on the side where they vent and water seeps in, they get fairly dirty, and if you wear them often, the soles quickly wear out. Other than that, I have no serious issues, and I'll keep purchasing Etnies!

I always found skate shoes to be more comfortable than conventional sneakers because I'm on my feet all day at work and typically walk 10 to 12 miles every day. Because they're not only comfortable, but also appear to last a lot longer than other brands, I buy a pair of these every six months. They come in all black, which is also a plus because it's shockingly difficult to find a basic sneaker these days that isn't a rainbow of tacky colors.One of the appears popping owing to threading coming free was highlighted in one of the other reviews. One of the six or so pairs I got did that within the first few days I had them, but it wasn't a major concern because once it popped, it didn't keep coming undone or anything.

In my opinion, this is one of the most reliable, dependable, and comfortable sneakers ever manufactured. Anyone with wide or large feet who likes or needs padding in the heel, tongue, and ankle will find these shoes to be ideal. They are all precisely the right size when they are constructed, but they tend to get roomier over time. They are created in the USA and are composed of high-quality materials, which is an additional benefit. They last about 6 months before they begin to show light indications of wear, then another 6 months before they begin to become more worn, as far as I can tell. If you get a pair of DC shoes, you won't be able to stop wearing them. I use older ones for work, and they are about 2 years old. When purchased from Amazon, they are also affordable; in a retailer like PacSun, they can cost as much as $55–$60, but on Amazon, they can be found on sale for as little as $30–$40. However, don't just take my word for it; check them out for yourself. Overall, these shoes are at the top of my list and will stay there for as long as I can see.

I love DC, and I've owned shoes like them before. Even though the sizing for some shoe brands varies, if you've worn DC in the past, keep with it. They match as anticipated. I would advise getting a half size larger if your feet are wider. I must admit, however, that despite the fact that they are a tiny bit (at most a half size) smaller than I would like (my own error), I still adore them and they continue to not harm my feet; they are just a little cramped.I've received many compliments on the grey with the hint of green, but I wasn't quite committed to them because I preferred a bit more design. They won me over when I met them in person. Excellent accents and colour. The tiny accents give them a distinctive look. They performed admirably.DC's quality has never been compromised, and after more than five years, I still have a pair that shows no signs of wear (only dirt since they are half white). Although I am heavier than the typical person and wore them every day, the inside heal fabric is slightly worn. Aside from the slight damage I caused myself in the heal, there is no fraying, no ripping or tearing of the interior fabric, and the laces are still in place. When I inserted my foot into other sketchers, the cloth lining surrounding the foot, especially the top heal edge, wore down, but DC is still holding up fantastically. I simply purchased a new pair because I wanted a different color. DC wasn't providing me with a purpose through deterioration.Although they are flat shoes, as others have noted, I wouldn't think twice to add some inserts if I wanted support. absolutely worthwhile.I would suggest these shoes, and I don't mind the compliments I receive whenever a new person notices them. And if you're on the fence, the likelihood is that if you buy them, you won't be disappointed in the slightest.

I wear black suede villain shoes. have for a number of months. VERY light-weight, fashionable moc/loafer. the coziest shoes I've ever owned. if you take good care of them, they'll make fantastic shoes for a night out with some relaxed jeans or slacks and a relaxed dress shirt. In my opinion, they are subtle enough to go with more than simply a casual ensemble.These sneakers are exceptional in my opinion since they have the ideal balance. These days, unassuming, casual sneakers that go with clothes are all the rage. The issue with many of those shoes that I notice is that they almost always appear to have really odd characteristics. Other shoes that look comparable are either too plain or too tight. These shoes still have a certain air of youth about them while yet remaining elegant. The white DC logo stands out nicely in contrast. These sneakers certainly seem "stylish," but never go overboard. For any age range, they don't actually seem to be too young.Excellent build quality. Chicago experienced its third worst winter on record last year. You can guarantee that I couldn't wait till spring to wear these shoes. I was just too delighted. I wore these all through the middle and end of winter. At this stage, the front has faded somewhat. but overall they have remained strong. Additionally, I often lift in these shoes (which im not necessarily recommending btw). Also unharmed are the bottoms. I've worn these shoes out over time, but I could probably get away with wearing them for another year if I didn't feel like getting a new pair.The sizing is the only significant caution I have about these shoes. Since they're so light, they appear to stretch out a little more readily than I anticipated. I would DEFINITELY advise anyone considering purchasing these shoes to at the very least try them on first. No matter how tightly or loosely you purchase them, lightweight loafers will always be a little baggy because they tend to stretch out most of the time. I usually wear sports shoes in a size 10, but I bought these in a 9 and they're the best fit I can find.These are available on the rack at many shoe stores. I would advise you to test out 2-3 different sizes.Definitely a great sneaker. I have yet to see a shoe of a comparable price that still maintains its youthful charm.

Since these were such a wonderful deal, I decided to get my kid these since he frequently goes through skating shoes. The traction is exceptional, and the fit is flawless! well-made and of excellent quality. These seem to have a long shelf life for him!
