I made the decision to switch to wooden hangers about ten years ago (from plastic). But as I've expanded my wardrobe over the years, I've started to accumulate a growing number of wire hangers rather than a growing hanger collection. But the fact that they really stay on the hangers is where these really excel. I've been battling (yes, straining!) for years to keep my pants on with my slick wooden hangers (the hangers). Don't move when wearing the wonderful velvet pants, shirts, cardigans, etc. I've saved a ton of time and angst because of it.In the end, it really comes down to performance since (ideally) only you will see these. I first purchased 50 and gave my wife 25 of them, but since she hasn't started using them, I've been gradually removing 1 or 2 from her and using them. Other reviewers have complained that similar products leave felt on their clothing. None of that have I located.
