Although this notebook is excellent, affordability is ultimately what counts.This notebook fulfilled all of my expectations. It contains a reasonable amount of pages, good dividers, is college-ruled in size, lasts the entire (school) year, and is reasonably sturdy. Actually, it is exactly what you need in a notebook with multiple subjects. I don't have any problems in that aspect.The only warning I would provide is that the cost varies greatly. It's worthwhile if you can locate it for less than $10, but I've seen it going for $15, $20, and even more, which is just plain outrageous.Overall, this is a fantastic notebook that is well worth buying. However, keep an eye on the pricing and only buy when it is on sale.

A Laboratory Notebook was the first thing I was instructed to purchase when I started my master's degree. I searched for what I thought was the best fit among the options because there were no clear guidelines for what it could be. I have always used Mead notebooks for as long as I can remember, so I was a little hesitant to try the TOPS notebooks for the first time. I am quite particular about the notebooks I use, especially for school because I want to highlight everything and write in all different colors. Therefore, I need notebook paper that my pens and markers won't bleed through.Within three days, the notebooks were delivered. They were expertly put in a yellow envelope, wrapped in plastic. The notebooks came in wonderful condition, and I did receive all 6 colors (black, red, yellow, green, blue, and baby blue). To distinguish between classes, I choose to use a separate notebook for each subject, and they work perfectly. On both sides of the paper, I can write and highlight without any bleeding. I particularly enjoy that the pages don't readily rip out or get trapped in the binding because I don't like having loose notes or paper hanging out of my notebooks. I'll probably buy these again next semester because they are more than likely worth the cost.

I only purchase these notebooks for use in school. I require brightly white paper that doesn't allow ink bleeding from pens to further confuse me if I ever need to refer back to notes because I have embarrassingly terrible handwriting. Extremely white throughout, the paper maintains this hue constantly. Except when using a pen with a lot of ink, the paper is thick enough to prevent bleeding onto neighboring pages. Although each sheet is perforated and can be readily removed from notebooks without the perforation folding, I hardly ever do so. Because of my sloppy handwriting, I also like to write in quite large font, but the lines of the notebook allow for both this and extremely small print.The spine and plastic cover are quite robust. Given that permanent markers are prone to smudging, I would advise writing your name within the folder rather than on the outside. Speaking of the interior folders, I had to fold the majority of the pages I want to fit inside because they are hardly wide enough for the notebook's pages.Pros: Sturdy spine and cover, brilliant colors, pristine white pages, excellent line spacing, doesn't bleed ink, built-in folder.Cons: The provided folders are generally too narrow to fit the notebook's pages.

Ever since the kids started high school, we have been purchasing 5 star. These notebooks are the ones to own. It's wonderful that the paper is a little thicker than in most notebooks because it prevents you from leaving an impression of your writing on the subsequent page. The pages are perforated so that you receive a lovely, sharp edge rather than one that is worn down. The notebook itself contains an organizer folder that is useful for storing school handouts or returning graded assignments. The notebook's front and back covers are made of a plastic-like material that is easily wipeable. There is only one little complaint I have, and that concerns the cost. I have three teenagers who each take six classes; normally, they cost $5 apiece. It quickly adds up, therefore I wish there were more bundle discounts available for these.

These notebooks are used for grading. They are of excellent quality and meet your requirements. The pages aren't lined up from notebook to notebook, and that's the only thing I can criticize. As a result, throughout the entire book, the pages in a graph start at the same location. The first line of the grid was sliced in half, in a different location than the first notebook, so after I finished the first and received the second, I discovered my templates wouldn't function precisely the same. It's challenging to describe, so I'm not sure if it makes sense. Additionally, the grid on the second was a little bit darker than the first. However, they are excellent notebooks! I've received black, teal, and then more black as my colors. It depends on chance.

I write A LOT every day as part of my ambidextrous and autodidactic aspirations. written by hand in cursive. My daily average for the notebook I'm currently reading is eight pages. It worked out to about 9.5 pages each day for the prior. I've gotten through a regular 200-page notebook in as short as 15 days (9.5 pages per day, first notebook took 21 days). Due to my current 8 page restriction and the 240 pages in this product, I am expecting to finish it in exactly 30 days (8 x 30 = 240). About once a month, I read through a notebook, and there are several conveniences I like. How easily can the pages be turned, how much writing space is created by the lines, and how does the paper feel? How smoothly my favorite pens move across the surface. Other notebooks have undoubtedly provided me with a better writing experience, however those other notebooks are either more expensive or no longer available. I've also had bad writing experiences. But when weighing aspects like cost, accessibility, and overall superior writing quality, I've discovered a current preference with this being my go-to notebook for writing (now approaching the 1 year mark, having obtained my first one in later July or August of 2017 to test out). As I write to fill the entire page, I wish there were lines at the very top and bottom of the pages (as opposed to the padded margins). As it is, I estimate the lines, and while I consider myself to be reasonably adept at doing so, it should be possible to do it more accurately for the sake of symmetry and simplicity. However, despite its shortcomings, this does not exclude it from being a suitable audience for my writing. Neither the best nor the worst, nor even average. When it comes to writing frequently, above average. And because of that, it is a crucial component of my writing process. Writing with either the left or right hand can be done with the left or right hand mirrored. Aside from the typical physical limitations (engineering of your ordinary pens, center margin/binding of the notebook), I am doing it all, and this tiny jewel works like a charm.

High-quality notebook that is nice.The Amazon Basics products have greatly impressed me; I've lately ordered a number of them and haven't been able to discern any differences in quality between them and the priciest name brands. This notebook is just as good as or even better than a Moleskin or Picadilly; it's a really lovely book.The binding on the book is strong and appears to last. The first thing to note is that a fountain pen will bleed through to the back of a single page of paper if you intend to use one. The ink should dry before closing, and it is best to use a slip cover. This is not a problem with ballpoint pens or gel pens, at least not the ones I've tested. Ghosting will appear on the back of every pen you use, which could be problematic for people who write on both the front and back pages.It is really easy to write on and is of decent quality. Your pen moves incredibly smoothly across the page with little to no friction. Its one drawback was already noted in the introduction.The texture of the faux leather cover is excellent. I like the size of the notebook because it is cozy to handle and seems really unique given the dimensions.There have been no problems with the elastic band thus far.Very simple book-marker ribbon. maintains connection, no complaintsI like how the back pocket can hold small items that I would not want to clip to the notebook or squish between pages.With the Amazon Basics logo etched on the back, product placement is quite subdued. The print is really small, and unless you specifically search for it, you can't really tell that it's there.Overall, if you don't mind the ghosting, this notebook is excellent. It would be fantastic if the next edition included numbered pages and a table of contents.
