This swing will save your life! My infant child dislikes lying motionless and would not lay flat (unless he is beside me). Instead of having to hold him and doing nothing, I am generally able to take a shower or finish some housework while he sleeps when I put him down for a nap in his swing. It runs for an hour or two at a period for sound naps, and I love that I'm not wasting batteries. The music is good, and it's fantastic that you can change the level. The revolving mobile and the mirror above my little man keep him very entertained. I don't worry about my baby falling out of the 5-point harness because it looks to be pretty secure (he's only 8 weeks old, so it's not like he's already crawling out). I anticipate that once he becomes a little more mobile, it will hold him securely as well. The swing itself may be adjusted to several locations and has a variable speed. When the sun comes in, I don't have to shift the entire thing; I only need to turn the swing, and we're good to go.Some people have reported that the swing makes a loud squeaking noise. This has to do with users. At all times, the feet must be fully extended to prevent squeaking. They must regularly be spread apart since the swing moves somewhat. Simply spread the feet (the entire base of the swing support) apart to eliminate any squeaks you may be experiencing.Note: Even if you plug it into the wall, the circuit must have 4 C batteries attached in order for it to function. Love the design and incline, but scored 4 stars because: movable animals are fastened with flimsy velcro; description neglects to mention that everything BUT the vibration settings can be utilized through plug-in; and the included hardware (the screws in particular) is cheap and easily strippable.I really like the look, especially the legs that are bent in front. Put together a few days ago; 9 months pregnant so haven't tested with kid yet. I already trip over our high chair when I walk past it since the legs don't curve like this do; they come out and cross in front as a straight bar.The directions weren't the best, but if you read them properly and attentively look at the pictures, you can put it together in 20 to 30 minutes. It was quite simple to assemble. Regarding the cheapness of the screws, I concur with one of the other evaluations. There are only a few pieces of hardware, but the two screws in particular were challenging to tighten with a drill or a manual screwdriver. Metal pegs that click into holes are mostly used in the construction process.Love the curved support bars at the base, as I said earlier. I particularly enjoy that this swing can be adjusted to three various incline levels; many of the swings I looked at lacked that function, and I didn't even consider it until I found this one, which did.The mobile's two small stuffed animals are held on by velcro, which I don't like because they can be easily pulled off or knocked off (the velcro isn't very strong). This item was discovered by my wife on a mother's blog. When my daughter (2 months) learned of this, she had been using a Rock n Play for about 2-3 weeks. Since newborns aren't supposed to sleep on the Rock n' Play for hours at a time, she requested if we may test it. I bought a Boppy Noggin Nest Head Support to add a bit extra comfort for her and kept the rocking at level 2. In terms of infant gear, this has likely been the best purchase I have ever made. Every night, she spends hours sleeping in this. She won't eat, so we don't wake her up in the middle of the night to feed her. She has been using it since she was two months old, and she sleeps for at least seven hours each night. She can sleep in this device for hours and is now 4 months old. She does awaken once to eat, but she falls back asleep after approximately 45 minutes. I heartily endorse this item. I don't often write reviews, but I felt compelled to for this product.

I thought my partner and I were minimalist parents. Our intentions to live simply were abandoned when our daughter was born since we realized we also needed a life. After putting this machine together, we were quite dubious because it took up a lot of space in our already very congested living area and it seemed to be encroaching on the little remaining space in our living room after the playpen, bassinet, chairs, etc. But as I had taken a few months off to stay at home with her and she gets fussy and wants constant attention that as a new parent, it's hard to deny her, it became more and more difficult for me to manage on my own after my husband went back to work. Online reviews referred to this as the "babysitter," but for me, it was a desperate attempt to get some downtime to finish off some housework and unwind a little. With her, it did not immediately go well. She cried and fussed the first ten times (5-day period) she was placed there until we removed her. She eventually became entirely "used" to it and began to love her experience after a week or so of trying to put her in there. When we originally placed her in there, she was three weeks old. Additionally, it doesn't always keep her for extended amounts of time; the longest she stays is often 2.5 hours, while the average length is typically around 20 minutes. The lowest two levels are where she feels most at ease, with music assisting if she is awake. Her overall benefit is that it keeps her calm long enough for me to wash a load of laundry or prepare and eat a meal. If there is no problem, she will stop crying after the first five minutes and either go asleep or self-soothe until I can pick her up.

In order to save a few dollars—roughly $15—I bought it with a damaged package, but the swing itself was undamaged. simple to construct The problem is right here! The cable! When I finally got it together, I panicked and asked, "How the fu** do I plug this in?" I hadn't noticed anything in the book about the plug having various adapters until I realized what the small bag of plugs was, so keep that in mind. Additionally, I noticed something about a timer for the swing when I read the reviews. Please be aware that using the timer is not required and that it is an optional choice. Additionally, the swing won't move unless your infant is inside of it. which I considered to be very cool. Overall, I adore this product.

I chose to attempt a nicer swing for my fourth child because I have four children. Here's what happened:What I liked: 1. It's portable and easy to move around my house. It isn't big or heavy, so moving it from room to room is simple.2. A neat, simple layout. The soft hues and simple lines appeal to me.3. A variety of features, including varied movement settings and sounds.4. White noise muffles the noise my other children make.5. You may adjust the seat's angle to range from more upright to flat.My infant doesn't like it, therefore that's what I didn't like. She won't go to bed in this. It lacks the slight shock that a swing that moves from side to side or back and forth has. Because of how smooth this swing is, it doesn't provide the rock she needs to unwind and go asleep. In fact, even at modest settings, she frequently exhibits signs of fright or motion sickness when we activate the movement.2. Because the toys are so simple to remove, I spend significantly more time than necessary preventing my other children from taking them off and carrying them around the house, or picking them up off the floor after I accidentally knock them when I put her in the swing.Ultimately, this has turned into a VERY costly chair for my kid to sit in while I cook in our kitchen. After attempting to persuade her to like it for the past two months, we no longer use the movement or music features. Okay, everyone! Due to all the issues noted in numerous reviews, I was VERY hesitant to buy this swing. In fact, I was so dubious that I chose not to purchase it, but a family member later did so on our behalf. The current lowdown is as follows:-delivered on time.-There are no missing pieces, and every piece is in wonderful condition.-Putting it together took me less than 15 minutes to complete, and I'm a 5 foot tall lady. The directions were straightforward and simple to follow.-Although it is not a small swing, I was astonished at how nicely it fit in our studio apartment. Since it has a light design, it doesn't significantly alter our open floor plan.-The patterned area is made of a smooth, plastic-like fabric that is simple to clean of spit-up. The other fabric leaves me feeling a little underwhelmed. Although it has a minky appearance, the texture feels more like a rough felt. But it does have the impression of being durable.-I was astonished that he seemed to adore the cute small bears right away and obsessed on them.-I can hardly believe it that he has just been in there for a short while and is already asleep. I'm just sitting here marveling that he's sleeping without requiring me to carry him around for an hour and a half, which would have injured my back.-When it's moving at top speed, it does sway a little bit, but I think it's a safe, tolerable amount.-It's not silent; all swings generate a side-to-side noise, but I perceive this noise to be a typical level, and since it's consistent white noise, I believe we could sleep through it without the baby waking up.-Although some people have complained, our seat doesn't tilt to the side.The legs do sit flush; nevertheless, there have been concerns that they don't.There have been concerns that the seat is excessively shallow, but I believe it to be a common shape. My 5-week-old baby fits perfectly and looks to have ample room to grow into the seat.-It hasn't made the awful creaking sounds I've heard in videos yet, but it seems to start after. A few weeks later, my daughter accidentally got a moving basket ball lodged under the swing, and the clicking started to get a little worse. Because he stops the swing when he deals with the infant, I have to continuously remind my husband to turn it off first. I can't imagine that's good for the engine. But given how big and heavy the baby is today, it's hardly surprising that the swing can no longer keep up. More wobbling is present in the swing's motion as he gains weight. Overall though, we're not just content with how the swing has aided us... I regret not getting a second one for Grammy's home. After all the anxiety of debating whether to get this item at first, it ended up being the #1 best thing we acquired and the one item we couldn't live without. I don't believe I would have survived without this baby swing given my injuries.
