I used them to support my larger, open kayak (the blue one in the photo). held up nicely to and from this year's inaugural kayaking trip. accelerated to 65 mph. appeared to function in a similar manner as the Yakima set I was utilizing for the second kayak. The buckle's small pocket was the only item I had to remember to pull back into place. Be sure to cover it back up once you slide the strap through and tighten it so that it won't strike your automobile when you go to take it off. Although we adore the pool, we recently had a fiberglass pool installed, and the steps were extremely slippery and lacked any traction. I came across this traction pad on Amazon and thought it could be worth a shot. Since the pool is made of fiberglass, there was a concern about how to drain the water. I frequently purchase items from Amazon (I've been surfing since the 1980s and own SUPs and kayaks), but these exceeded my expectations in every way. I only needed the four pads, but I was impressed with the additional hold-down gadgets and stuff sack for it all. There were even REASONABLE directions with illustrations! The English wasn't flawless, but it was still adequate. These people deserve praise for investing the time to put everything together. There is a LOT of useful car-topping things for under $30. Since the "racks" are a lighter color and it is stated just above it in RED that cross bars are not included, I did not believe the Amazon image to be deceptive. If you compare crossbar prices, you'll see that there is no way to acquire crossbars AND all of this cushioning and strap down gear for less than $30.However, I'm so happy with it that I went out and purchased two more for my two teenage daughters (so they won't borrow mine!). At $30, it would be stupid not to.

I begin with the side with the highest flow rate, which raises the paddle board's PSI to about 3.
