A few years ago, I got my son the Jr. size. It had a pump, a kick-off shirt, and was stain-resistant. He wanted an official size NFL football because he is older now. The Spalding Never Flat Football I initially bought only lasted for two throws and one kick. I gave the ball back because it cracked and the leather peeled off. Next, I bought a Wilson F1100 Official NFL Game Football as my second ball. The leather began to peel off after two tosses. The logo on the ball was misaligned and essentially resembled an NFL reject.Because the balls were breaking apart and my old one had never even been scratched, I was really unhappy in the two purchases I had made. I had to try to identify which ball it was by looking at my Jr. size ball. Reading the text on this one led me to believe it was the same ball, so I bought it.My child adores it. It is the ideal ball because he has been playing with it in the yard for two weeks. The ball is scuff-resistant, grips well, and spirals nicely. This is the ball to buy if you're searching for one to throw around in the yard because it will last a long time.

This was a wise decision. I ordered KC Chiefs shirts for my entire family for Christmas and packaged them all together in a box as a present for everyone. When they opened the box, this miniature football was the first item they noticed. While we were watching the game, my entire family had fun kicking this ball about. Perfect size for indoor entertainment and doesn't resemble a toy for kids. great acquisition

This football is of good quality. We got it to measure the growth of our grandson, who was born just today, but it's not exactly like the old leather footballs that you don't see around much anymore. You can tell it's made of the synthetic material that everyone now uses, but it's simple to handle. This football won't likely look good for very long if it is thrown around a lot in the backyard, in my opinion.

I am quite selective when it comes to spending money, therefore a few reviews of this product made me a little hesitant to buy it. However, I had to make the purchase because I currently reside in Tampa and the Saints play here on Sunday. The stitching and ball are flawless, there are no blemishes, and the sharpie was included. As a 20-year Saints fan, I am very appreciative to the seller for allowing me to bring this to my first game. Definitely suggestable!

Santa brought three Franklin balls for my youngster. He adored the football because he could throw the ideal spiral with it and since it was bright green and had grippers. The football was afterwards destroyed by a dog. Now that I think of it, the three pack of balls was a Walmart Christmas special that I couldn't get in January. Only this item with positive reviews was found after searching both stores and the internet. He enjoys it almost as much as the three-pack football because it is the same size. It has strong grippers and attends school every day with him. Franklin, go ahead and sell the third green ball! And strangely, you are not allowed to select a color. Orange was given to us.Update: On March 3, 2013, I just discovered these in orange and green at Target! They used to not keep them on hand for $9!Updated February 2014: We still have the orange ones we purchased from Target and Amazon. They continue to be a big hit with my boys and the neighborhood kids even though we only air them once a season. Excellent footballs with good grip for youngsters under the age of adolescents (and they fit Mom's hands, too)!

This football is a favorite among my 11-year-old son and the children he plays with at school. The children he plays with at school, who range in age from 6 to 12, all prefer this ball to the others the children have brought. The fact that it is soft and won't cause as much harm as a hard football may please the parents. It's great that the plays are written on the ball so the kids don't have to try to quietly call them out to their teammates; they just have to point at the play.

For a match of adult flag football, I bought two of these. Even though we have not yet arrived at our flag football competition, we have already used them five or six times.Pros: Good feel and grip; tight spirals are simple to execute; bigger than usual; yet, this appeared to help with accuracy and seeing passes in the air; size keeps bullet throws down by discouraging individuals from throwing uncatchable bullet passes.Cons: One of the balls' tips has begun to somewhat distort. Since we haven't really used them much, I'm a little concerned that they won't last. I deducted one star from it because of this. If I could, I'd rate it 4.5 stars with the comment "Practice Helped"! I'm usually a really good passer, but with the size of these footballs, it took me around ten throws to hit the mark. Many of our players struggled at first, missing their first two or three catches during practice, but they soon began to make simple catches, which, in my opinion, were simpler to sight and catch than NFL-style footballs.

About a year apart, I acquired two of these. They are leather and appear to be the exact game balls used in NFL games, despite the fact that I have never actually played NFL football. However, you should be aware that the ball you buy won't be broken in and game-ready when you get it. To put it another way, Tom Brady wouldn't want to use it against the Colts in the AFC Championship. Actual play balls are well-worn, glossy, sticky to the touch, have excellent grip, and are frequently much darker than the brand-new ball you purchase. Your new ball will be translucent, slick, and covered in a red dye that will bleed if it is exposed to moisture. The color can be removed with a quick wipe down with a moist cloth and perhaps even some saddle soap. Once your ball has dried, I advise regularly giving it a once-over with a shoe polish brush (or, if you believe Wilson, their own proprietary brush) to polish it and give it the sticky feel that professionals want. Since I used the identical break-in techniques for both, I believe the difference in color between my new ball and my one that has been in use for a year may simply be the result of time. See the images below. The same ball is seen in the first image both untouched and broken in (top) (bottom). The second image contrasts my brand-new, untouched ball with my one-year-old ball (on the left) (right). The ball can be dry-rubbed with the brush shown to restore its sticky feel. In the end, the fact that the ball is authentic alone makes it terrific, but as long as you know how to make it so, it also feels and plays fantastically.

Interesting small football set! My kid, who is just beginning flag football, wanted to practice at home, so I bought it for him. The flags are still in good condition several months after being used. They securely clip on and remove (very similar to the flags they use in his games). The football is compact and suitable for him (he is 5). The flags are certainly meant for kids because even though I'm just 5'2" and can barely get them to fit around my waist, my husband would have no chance of doing so.
