Best Sports Drinking Water in 2022

Last update: January 10, 2023

Are electrolytes better than water?

Electrolytes are better than water for people who are exercising or working in hot conditions because they help to replace the fluids and minerals that are lost through sweating. However, water is a better choice for people who are not active and who are not at risk of dehydration because it is a natural and calorie-free way to stay hydrated.

Are sports drinks as good as water?

Sports drinks are designed to help athletes rehydrate, but they are not necessarily better for you than water. Sports drinks contain electrolytes like sodium and potassium, which can help replenish what you lose when you sweat. They also often contain sugar or other carbohydrates, which can give you an energy boost. However, water is still the best choice for rehydration because it is calorie-free and won’t cause spikes in your blood sugar.

Can I drink electrolyte water everyday?

Yes, you can drink electrolyte water every day. It can help you stay hydrated and replenish your electrolytes, which are minerals that your body needs to function properly.

Is Gatorade actually hydrating?

Gatorade is often marketed as a sports drink that can help athletes stay hydrated during intense workouts. However, some research suggests that Gatorade and other similar drinks may not be as effective as once thought. A study published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition found that water is just as good as Gatorade at rehydrating athletes after exercise. The study's authors also found that Gatorade may actually cause athletes to urinate more, which could lead to dehydration.

LIFEWTR, Premium Purified Water pH Balanced with Electrolytes For Taste, 1 Liter bottles (6 Pack) Review:

I'm not sure if this water is particularly unique, but it tasted pleasant and fresh, and I loved having them lying around the home due of the fun labels. Let's assume that the bottles' aesthetic attractiveness had a role in their allure. If anyone is interested, this product was mentioned as "Life Wtr, which is water without vowels" in a recent Gwyneth Paltrow NYT piece. I still chuckle whenever I recall it. I forget the writer's last name, but her name is Taffy something, and she did a fantastic job. Without vowels, water! I could purchase some more. I really miss examining the bottles.

Bai Antioxidant Water, Alkaline Water, Infused with the Antioxidant Mineral Selenium, Purified Water with Electrolytes added for Taste, pH Balanced to 7.5 or Higher, 33.8 Fluid Ounce, 12 count Review:

I adore this water, I do! I am one of those persons who needs water to taste a specific way, feel smooth as I swallow it, and other things before I can simply drink it as I should. I used to just drink Evian or Fiji, but when they ran out of Fiji I stumbled onto this at a service station and I'm so glad I did! It's less priced, has a nice taste, and Amazon's subscribe

LIFEWTR, Premium Purified Water, pH Balanced with Electrolytes For Taste, 1000 mL (6 Count) (Packaging May Vary) Review:

I simply happened to spot this kind of water yesterday while browsing the shelves at my local grocery shop. Water is the worst. Due to my inability to tolerate water, I have spent most of my life in a somewhat dehydrated state. Really. My brain screams at me that artificial flavoring is bad, yet when I DO drink water, it must be flavored. Even so, it appears to be the better option. However, I believed that since I liked the way this bottle looked, I might also appreciate the way the water tasted. (For the split second I considered it, it made sense in my head.) I purchased a bottle, brought it to work with me, and began the daily ritual of putting the full bottle in front of me on my desk and moving documents around it as if it weren't there. It was at least more attractive than the typical water bottles. I finally decided to take a sip after a while. Then, whoa! It wasn't that bad! I'm not sure how to describe the flavor or, more specifically, the absence of whatever it is that gives water a horrible taste. But it's not present in this water. It tastes unclouded. If you are familiar with the flavors of other waters, Aquafina is the one that has the flavor I am referring to that I find to be the worst. I therefore drank a full liter of water yesterday! I also got two more bottles today when I stopped by the shop. Finished the second one just now! I decided to get a few 6 packs from Amazon today as I made my 900th trip to the restroom and share my story in case there are any other individuals out there who detest water but are willing to try a different brand!

smartwater vapor distilled premium water bottles, 1L, 6 Pack Review:

Because of the plastic bottles that add to my recycling and the cost of purchasing something that is already covered by my monthly out-of-the-tap water bill, I'm not a great fan of bottled water. I've temporarily switched to drinking bottled water since I don't like the flavour of softened water and I recently had a kitchen catastrophe that destroyed my hard-water tap. I've tried a few various brands, and I really enjoy Smartwater's flavour. I also prefer the larger bottle because it means I have less empty bottles overall. All day, I simply re-fill my insulated mug with cold water from the bottle.

Hint Water Watermelon Bottles 16 Ounce (Pack of 12) Pure Water Infused with Watermelon Zero Sugar Zero Calories Zero Sweeteners Zero Preservatives Zero Artificial Flavors Review:

On the market right now, this is the BEST beverage! I don't care about "organic," "all natural," or any of the other buzzwords; I just want water with "some" flavor. Before discovering Hint, I would squeeze a lemon into my water; I still like that, but it's no comparison to Hint. I don't like the retail price of Hint and wish it came in a larger container (lower cost and better for the environment), but until then, I search Amazon.I'm not sure if it is the taste or because they know "it is dad's" and a little pricy, but they drink at least 1-2 a day. It won't taste like soda, but it sure beats plain water. My kids even love it and have practically quit drinking soda.I will continue to buy the product until someone comes up with something better...with NO sugar or artificial sweetener! Again, I am not looking for 80% of what the product stands for (and doubt I agree with much of a San Francisco based company), but the product is AWESOME and I will continue to buy until someone comes up with something better...with NO sugar or artificial sweetener! I want more to be sold to get the price down and availability up.By the way, even though I usually dislike flavorings with melon, watermelon is one of the most refreshing and I adore it.

Hint Fruit Infused Water Variety Pack, (Pack of 12) 16 Ounce Bottles, 3 Bottles Each of: Cherry, Watermelon, Pineapple, and Blackberry, Unsweet Water with Zero Diet Sweeteners Review:

I was ecstatic to see there were 4 varieties of drinking water in a pack. If you don't reside in an area where they are sold, this is, in my opinion, the best place to start if you want to try it. I therefore began with pineapple before moving on to a different flavor each time. Some flavors are stronger than others. I didn't think I would like the watermelon flavor, but it was a close race with the cherry! The pineapple was likewise excellent; it had a little less flavor but was still tasty. I just wish that they were a little bit more overall, not a lot more, but a little more. I have, however, ordered more because I really like them. Sales would probably increase if there were variety packs because we could sample more tastes before purchasing the ones we liked most. After considering the reviews, I chose to test two tastes; I preferred one of them but not the other. But I'm going to consume it! I enjoyed every item in the variety pack but the blackberry, which shocked me. It had the best aroma but the least flavor. But I'm going to consume it. I wholeheartedly suggest giving this set a try!

AquaHydrate Electrolyte Enhanced Water / Ph9 Plus, 16.9 Fl. Oz (Pack of 24) Review:

I wholeheartedly endorse. I bought these to see if the alcaline water will assist my pain and body become more alkaline because I had a stomach issue with high acidity. I'm not sure if it worked scientifically, but I felt better in a few days and never experienced a flare-up again. In contrast to my tap water, this water is nice, tastes good, and encourages water consumption. I wholeheartedly endorse this. The best bottles are the 1.5 L ones.
