I got this pair from Amazon and am ecstatic with how well they fit and are made. Not like the poor, flimsy caps I've purchased from others who won't be named here. These coverings securely snap closed! The plastic eyepiece Optical lens cover, which clicks into the interior of the Optical lens cover, opens to the vertical position (Vortex offers DOPE DISK). You can open it to the vertical position because it will remain there. Additionally, you can fold it over the scope. The scope has a fold-over objective cover. Please check out the photographs I shared. In the same order, I also purchased the MK Machining Vortex Throw Lever. Machining MK VTX Vortex Viper Gen I A Throw Switch (Fits same as Vortex SV-2 Lever) Although this lever claims to be for a Vortex Viper Gen I, I learned about it via Vortex's website. On their website, someone else asked if they produced a throw lever for the Crossfire II, and they responded. This one really does work as they predicted it would! Just $19.99 on Amazon as well. 3D By MK Machining, printing. I am overjoyed with the new arrangement and am glad to assign the bikini scope covers to other duties.

At first, I had my doubts about how sturdy, stable, and capable this harness would be when holding the binoculars in place without bouncing or slipping. However, after reading the favorable reviews, I made up my mind to spend the money and buy the harness. happy I did. It receives great grades for each of these criteria and takes up very little space when packing for an outdoor adventure. It's important to keep in mind that many binocular cases are built to be very small and compact, making it necessary to remove the strap before securing the binoculars in a case frequently. This can be inconvenient, especially if you need regular access to your binoculars from the safety of a case or if you frequently find yourself asking, "Now, where did I place the harness?" after removing your binoculars from a closet or bag. However, since this is a characteristic and restriction of tiny cases, it is not a knock against the harness. Decide how you might use the case before making a prudent case buy. The ability to remove the binocs from the harness, put them back in the case, wear the harness while doing so, and then reattach the binocs to the harness the next time they are taken out of the case is another advantage the harness has over a "single strap" system when both the harness and case are being used in the field (i.e., dusty or rugged environments). Simple enough! Anyway, I use the harness for target viewing in archery and carrying around for fun, and it works perfectly for these uses.

It was really effective during my weekend hunting excursion and kept the eyepiece safe. Getting on the scope was a little challenging, which is both good and bad, I suppose. When putting the covers on your scope, be careful not to flip the focus ring because it is quite tight and can be challenging to get them on without damaging your focus. The cap performed significantly better than the Butler Creek caps, and I had no issues with it opening unexpectedly. superior to other scope covers in terms of quality. One size covers may fit a variety of eyepiece sizes, so you don't need to precisely measure your scope and choose from more than 30 possibilities to get the proper model number. One problem I had was that when I put the objective cover on, the surrounding rubber was quite thick and somewhat close to my handguard. My AR-15's low-set rings are somewhat to blame, but my.270 bolt action's scope is much closer to the barrel. Overall, these are nice covers, and I prefer them to the others.

A greater separation between the bubble and the sidelines. 4. Bubbles with thicker fluid travel more slowly. 5. Bubble level that is cemented into place. 6. About $9. Vortex - 1. Greater size and mass 2. It is best installed on the turret's muzzle side. 3. A closer proximity between the bubble and the sidelines. 4. Bubble moves quickly because the fluid is thinner. 5. Snap ring secures the bubble level. 6. About $35. On the Leupold 1, the Discovery fits and appears better "optics tube. The diminutive size has no impact on the turret's use or visibility. On the 1, the Vortex appears a little thick and uncomfortable "Despite being a higher-quality product, scope tube. It must be mounted on the turret's muzzle side due to its great size. In the 30 mm size, the Vortex looks and performs fantastically on a large, long-range scope with massive turrets (see photos). Customer wish: Vortex should produce a quality level for a 1 that is the same size as the Discovery brand "optics tube. P.S. The 1 "I was given a Vortex bubble level, which was made in China. Update: I bought a new Vortex bubble level to replace the Discovery model, whose bubble lines were too far apart.

Updated on August 16, 2017 This bubble level is seriously awesome. To be completely honest, I was worried that it would be too little and cumbersome to pick up. Anyway, when I got to the range, my concerns were allayed because it picks up light incredibly effectively, even in shady areas. I tested this thing out at 800 yards, the furthest distance available at my local range. When I tried shooting without the bubble and solely using my vision, I got two out of every five rounds on target. Put the bubble level into action and effortlessly raise it to 5/5. It's safe to assume that this level "saves you ammo" and thus money. To any shooter in need of a reliable, high-quality bubble level for their setup, I would strongly recommend it.I'll add my voice to the chorus of individuals who complain that installing this ring was a royal pain. The top of the ring (the bubble) likes to move as you tighten the screw, so try not to get it on the scope tube itself. Instead, tighten it down and have it stay level. This, I assume, is because the design is one piece, and the screw is "pushing" the upper portion down.You run the danger of shattering the ring if you decide to take it off and put it on another scope because it is made of aluminum and is VERY thin. Given that, I believe this to be more of a "set it and forget it" level; after installation, leave it alone. However, should it break, they should replace it without delay because of Vortex's VIP warranty.Installation: I found that rotating the ring such that the bubble is roughly halfway above the first left line worked nicely for me. If modifications are required, slowly loosen the screw and rotate the ring a tiny bit before tightening the ring again. Repeat this process until the bubble is perfectly centered.The torque value was not specified anywhere in the package, so I had to conduct some research online. It is advised to torque it down between 8 and 10 in/lb.Although small, the bubble can be seen by just opening your left eye, and vice versa if you shoot with your left hand.I only received it today, so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Once I take it to the range, though, I'll update this review.

The sights were a fantastic improvement over the factory ones. They may be used in the sun as well as low light, and they perform pretty well in both. Has the striking orange circle on the front sight. You can do it yourself, but it's not advised. I'm a very mechanically oriented person who has built a few guns from the ground up. They will be able to sight them in and install them without hurting the rifle. So I did my own installation, and they are flawless.I would strongly suggest these sights to anyone wishing to enhance their sights.

Inside the plastic telescoping tube that the tool was packed in, there was a little plastic bag that included the loose auxiliary pieces, socket, and extension. The inclusion of a clip or holder for the accessory parts would be excellent. When I first tried to insert a hex bit into the tool, I did run into an issue. The side of the spring-ball detent that secures the bit in place appeared to have a little roughness. Everything worked perfectly when I pushed the bit through the little bump. My third Vortex scope was mounted using a torque wrench. Similar to how torque is set on standard torque wrenches, The torque is released when the appropriate in-lbs are obtained rather of using a "click" type wrench. To enable the spring to reset, you must then turn the wrench a little bit further or back. It is ideal for gunsmithing. Like my other Ft-lb wrenches, I do wish it had a Newton meters scale on the back. Only in-lbs are shown. I am aware that I can convert simply, but since many of my firearms are European, the specifications are in metric. We should adopt the metric system like the rest of the world, too. Did you know that the only nations not formally utilizing the metric system are the USA, Liberia, and Burma?

For your aTN X-Sight II, you must need this. When you already have it, there is really no need to utilize the AA batteries. There are a few things that are somewhat irksome and, to be honest, might have been planned better.1. Fitting the pouch is difficult. No matter the weapon, I suppose it is the same. Although the Velcro straps can be adjusted, it is still difficult.2. The cable may be an obstruction. To store it, a slot in the bag would be convenient. The cable is also threaded through the zipper. This will result in chafing during routine use and reduce the wire's lifespan. The wire could be shielded from the zipper by using a grommet to route the cable through.3. When a battery is in a pouch, the power switch is located at the bottom of the battery, making it impossible to access without taking the battery out. The wire connector is at a 90 degree angle in the wrong direction if the battery is turned over.
