Bandai Hobby Star Wars 1/12 Plastic Model C-3PO & R2-D2 "Star Wars" Review:

Fantastic product! These model kits come highly recommended; they are a lot of fun. I think taking a new figure out of the package is the finest part of opening it. These model kits increase the opening experience's enthusiasm because the figure's construction is admirable and pleasant. These figurines are by far the most true to life 1/12 scale representations of my favorite Star Wars droids.

Revell Star Wars SnapTite Build and Play Imperial Star Destroyer Model Building Kit (16"x9"x4") Review:

I really enjoyed the appearance of the Star Destroyer, so I collected vintage Star Wars action fleet toys from the 1990s whenever I could. I couldn't get enough of everything, from the tiny micro machines to the larger kenner collectors fleet ships. I only recently learned about the Revell Snaptite fleet and tried it out with Poe's X-Wing in an effort to add to my collection. I looked at some of their other Snaptite Models since I adored the design and attention to detail on that X-Wing. I even visited their website, and I was thrilled to see that they would be launching a Star Destroyer in late October. I was overjoyed to discover that Amazon had it in stock a week earlier than expected because I truly couldn't wait for this item to go on sale! If you can, buy it from this store; the website price is $35, excluding shipping. The assembly of this item, which is level 2 and can take up to an hour, is first and foremost enjoyable and simple. I finished it in about 15 minutes. For comparison, I was able to complete the AT-ACT model faster than this one because it is on the same level. This item didn't have the best seams, as I discovered after putting it together, so if you are extremely picky about having everything fit perfectly, you might want to consider using glue. Overall though, unless you really pay attention, it's extremely difficult to notice. The size is excellent, and the lights and sounds are a lovely touch. There's even a button at the bottom that fits flat with the ship's bottom. It also has built-in display stands, which is fantastic. On the flanks, there are freely moving turrets that resemble the top and bottom side turrets on Revell's Millennium Falcon. There are no lights in the front, and the smaller engines aren't illuminated either, which is a slight drawback. The lights only affect the three big engines at the back. This item has absolutely amazing detail; in my opinion, it appears better than my 20-year-old Kenner.Pictured are my Kenner Collectors Fleet Star Destroyer, the Revell Snaptite Poe's X-Wing, and the die cast Black Series Tie Inquisitor to demonstrate scale. The Revell Star Destroyer is in the center. Please release a Super Star Destroyer, Revell, if you're listening! There is nothing comparable in terms of pricing or target audience that is as iconic as this Star Wars ship.

Bandai Hobby Star Wars 1/72 X-Wing Star Fighter Building Kit Review:

I must say that this was definitely the most enjoyable kit I've completed recently. Not only is it nostalgic for the 1977 "Star Wars" movie's original theatrical release, but the degree of detail was incredible. There are numerous ways to pose this kit, including flying, landing, with the s-foils open or closed, with the cockpit hatch fully visible, or simply with the hatch frame. I illustrated this review with images of the kit's components to create the ideal before-and-after photos. This will look wonderful if you use the appropriate paint and put in the necessary effort.I've included some of the things I did with my kit and the tools I used below:Black Valleijo wash (weathering)Soot Tamiya Wheathering Kit (weathering)Spray paint for models, Tamiya Light USAF Grey (base color and coat)Decal softener by Mr. HobbyDecal installer Mr. Hobby

Bandai Hobby Star Wars 1/144 at-at Walker Building Kit Review:

My favorite Star Wars vehicle has always been the AT-AT, and this kit is unquestionably the best available. You'll be astounded by the level of detail just by looking at the pieces on their runners. As I built the model using reference pictures, I made sure to include every detail that I saw on the studio models.Anyone with modeling skills can easily complete the construction because it is simple. I didn't use any cement or need to sand any parts to fit; the fits are precise and tight. Of course, Bandai's kits follow a conventional approach. Though the leg and foot components may appear to be interchangeable, they are not, therefore you'll want to maintain the straightness of the "A" and "B" legs. And some of the Emperor's black bones' small pieces! To untangle them from their runners without losing them, you'll need some patience (and perhaps some tape). On the feet and neck, there are a few discernible nub marks and apparent seam lines. The majority of the walker's problems are solved by the body and head being sculpted as a single shell-like element. When complete, the walker is around 6" tall and faithfully reproduces the articulation from the films. The toe flaps, which are all individually shaped, as well as the hip, knee, and ankle joints, all move. Additionally, the hips of the legs may pivot left and right, answering the age-old question of how an AT-AT turns. The kit comes with a realistic cockpit and two drivers, but until you illuminate the cockpit, you won't be able to see what's going on behind the transparent red viewport.A plastic "snow" base is included in the kit, however the AT-AT will appear to be skating over the molded elements, depriving it of a sense of weight. If you're so inclined, you're better off building your own foundation. Instead, I chose a base that resembled a jungle because my weathering scheme appeared too rusty for the walkers seen on Hoth. Since they are "All-Terrain," there is no requirement that your walker be on snow. The model wasn't painted; instead, I used washes and weathering powder to highlight the incredible detail and give it an authentically battle-scarred aspect. Although my work may not be as good as some completely painted AT-ATs I've seen, an excellent kit, some fundamental skills, and a passion for the subject matter all worked together to produce a model that sits proudly in my expanding collection of Star Wars models. This one gets a simple five (Death?) stars!(Photo credits: The action scene features a Good Stock Photos stock background and an imclod on Deviant Art rendering of an Alliance V-wing. The Cut and Paste Photos and Movie Effects applications for Android were used to create the scene.

fascinations Metal Earth 3D Model Kits Star Wars Set of 3 Millennium Falcon - R2-D2 - X-Wing Starfighter Review:

fantastic stuff If you know someone who like 3-D models or puzzles, I highly suggest this. Some of the parts may be difficult to obtain and install since they are small. I strongly suggest using tweezers or needle nose pliers to bend the tabs in order to secure the components into position, as instructed. I bought them for my nephews, ages 12 and 14, and although I was concerned that my youngest nephew wouldn't be able to put it up, he sat there until he did.

Fascinations Metal Earth Apollo Saturn V with Gantry 3D Metal Model Kit Review:

Because I'm a perfectionist, I found it a little upsetting that while in theory it's a great build, it's practically difficult to get a flawless build. It is particularly challenging to get the curves of smaller (relatively speaking; they are all small) pieces like the engines correct. I would twist the tabs and fold them to achieve a tight fit for the ramps that emerge from the Launch Umbilical Tower. I would roll them around a suitable sized writing instrument to get a good look at the body of the rocket. It looks extremely amazing from a distance. Just avoid looking at it too closely. Building this model at a size that is two to three times larger might be intriguing. It is seen here next to my foam 3D puzzle Saturn V and my LEGO Saturn V.

Estes Zombie Flying Model Rocket Launch Set Kit Review:

My grandson was a big fan. Despite the fact that I had never assembled a model rocket before, it was very simple for us to do so. We only ran into problems because I didn't carefully study what was and wasn't included. I purchased the wadding and engine fuel, but not the plastic cement. Sadly, the rocket was lost after the initial flight because it performed so brilliantly and travelled so high.

Bandai Hobby 1/144 Millennium Falcon Star Wars: The Last Jedi Review:

This kit was so much fun to build. Without a doubt, I had a great time building my first Bandai Star Wars kit. Wasn't as difficult as I anticipated, and I was taken aback by how well the snap design concealed the seams and made them appear snug. Although the force awakens kit featured a few more models (standing figures), reading that this kit had the right greebling convinced me to choose it over the other set. One thing to keep in mind is that although this kit makes it appear as though you only get Rey, Chewie, and BB-8, you also get a sitting Finn and Han Solo. In order to make the most of this kit, I used the Paragrafix Bandai Millennium Falcon photo-etching [parallel import items] and the Bandai Star Wars 1/144 Scale Millennium Falcon (Force Awakening)83 points emission USB power supply connection LED wiring kit. One thing to keep in mind is that the lighting kit is really complex, and I had to make some sacrifices to make it fit. Additionally, keep in mind that you will need to make numerous modifications in order to make the kit fit. But as I've already said, the outcome is worthwhile despite the additional work. Additionally, I used a couple Shapeways products, which improved the model even more. Highly advised for novice and intermediate modelers, but also valuable for experts.

fascinations Metal Earth 3D Metal Model Kits Star Trek Set of 2 - USS Enterprise NCC-1701D & USS Enterprise NCC-1701 Review:

I adore these metal models; they have wonderful features and are a soothing activity to do when I need to decompress. These are fantastic if you enjoy business.

Fascinations Metal Earth Apollo CSM with LM 3D Metal Model Kit Review:

Exceptional kit from Metal Earth once more. I'll go over this item in great depth. First, they take a lot of work to construct, but the payoff is worth it. These are something I've constructed a lot of, and they take time and the correct equipment. Without the proper equipment, you will become discouraged and give up. What are the proper tools, then? For me, they consist of needle nose FLAT pliers with serrated teeth and magnifying glasses (a necessity). The pliers will slide if you choose the ones without serrated teeth since they won't properly grasp the metal. The pliers must be extremely thin as well. The next piece of equipment is cutting pliers; the tiny ones are extremely sharp so you can cut the pieces off the sheets without scratching them or creating burs. Additionally, I utilize an old radio antenna that includes tubes of various sizes that I can use to "round" the components that require it. An LED work light is quite practical. Instead of following the written directions on paper, I download them onto my desktop computer and work in front of them. The instructions can be made larger so you can see the details better. I also download a 3D image of the finished model so I can see how it should appear. On the Fascinations Metal Earth website, you can download both. Finally, take it one step at a time, focus on the illustration on the step's instructions, then move on to the next. Although amusing, plastic models can't hold a candle to these metal miniatures.
