It would have been far too hot to use a wrap that we had been using on a trip to Florida, so I bought this instead.PROS:Price: This is the carrier for you if you want to be sure that your baby will like a soft structured carrier but aren't ready to spend more money on a finer one. Or you can use this even if you never want to spend a lot of money on a carrier and still obtain good quality.Lightweight—both the carrier itself and the material are permeable. In the sweltering Florida summer heat, I was able to wear for extended periods of time without getting myself or the baby too overheated.Flexible: The leg openings can be adjusted to fit both tiny and larger newborns. The four straps that hold the arms and legs in place are all movable. Both of the straps that attach to the parent are movable. My husband is 6'4" and I am 5'5", and we can both comfortably adjust this to fit.To help you wear your baby safely, here are 4 methods with simple instructions and videos. When the baby is facing out, a head support that folds down and snaps into place. To aid in better weight distribution, more expensive carriers will incorporate x-shaped straps or straps that actually cross over. Again, though, considering the cost, it's nice to experiment with or use sparingly until the infant is heavier.Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to test out a soft structure carrier without spending a lot of money. We still use this carrier even though we have recently purchased a Beco Gemini, which is a very similar design. We also wear a ring sling and a Solly wrap at home.

The best carrier ever is this one! This was my fourth carrier (after using the Bjorn, Infantino, and Ergo), and it's the best one yet! I bought one the following day after seeing it posted in a Facebook group I participate in. It is without a doubt the most useful and finest designed carrier I have ever seen. Here are some of my favorite parts:1. Unlike the Ergo, it is complete and does not require any additional components, such as an uncomfortable insert.2. Six various postures, from small to large, are magnificent. This is wonderful because the Original Ergo does not allow for forward facing. Although it's terrible for comfort, the infantino does.3. It is breathable, and it has the amazing option of being even more breathable by unzipping the front panel. Since I live in Georgia, heat and humidity were major concerns. The ergo is a sweatbox; this is not.4. The lumbar pad is a wonderful addition, and it really relieved my back after a botched epidural. This excellent, padded component wasn't present in any other carrier I encountered. The weight is really absorbed by it. I genuinely believe that all of the padding is superior to any else I have used. Wearing it is quite comfy.5. No other carrier I have has a repositional seat, which is fantastic for adjusting for the baby.6. It is remarkably simple to put on. I can easily put the baby in and get going with only a few clicks; either facing in or out is pleasant.7. It is incredibly easy to use for new mothers. I appreciate how I can wear it with ordinary or backpack straps, how I can simply switch the baby's direction from front to inward facing while wearing the infant, and how comfy it is. This carrier is adored by my infant! He frequently nods off in it.8. This carrier is convenient and effective.9. Excellent and subdued color choicesThe hood is fantastic! I adore using it to put the baby to sleep11. 6 positions, including a newborn position, fashionable, and created with the wearer in mind. Totally and flawlessly worth the money!The only drawback, in my opinion, is that although it claims that you can breastfeed there, the entire season lacks side boob coverage. I don't mind because comfort and versatility outweigh that small flaw in everything else. Trust me when I tell that you should only get this carrier. You won't be dissatisfied.

I'll come back and update my review when I've worn it for a longer period of time, just so you know.Holy crap, that's a lot of adjusting, was my initial response to this device. But resist becoming intimidated by it. The directions are merely a guide. You'll have it down quickly once you start shifting this thing from a narrow seat to a wide seat to face forward on your own. To become proficient with it, adjustment requires practice—not just reading the manual.The front-facing-out option is my favorite. I purchased this structured carrier for the back carry and had no intention of using it for the front-facing-out carry, but it turns out that I really needed it. My eight-month-old adores facing out. And it's DURABLE. Rugged, I guess. She is large. She is pretty fat and weighs between 17 and 18 pounds. It's spacious, cozy, and very gentle on her skin.I adore the material. I adore the hues. It's a stylish carrier for boys, girls, or anyone. Naturally, I appreciate that because grey is practically my favorite hue.Major plus: large gal friendly. mother chunky hefty af. I have a larger stomach due to having two children and love eating, making me a 2XL. It FITS, It could even suit someone who is much bigger than I am. I bought this carrier since it seemed to be the most practical design for the following purposes: - Putting it on while still seated and about to exit a bus or an airline so I may carry my newborn within it and free up my hands.They wanted to be lifted up and carried, so let me take care of the light housework.- Storing conveniently on the stroller in a bag or pocket. It is simple to condense.- Taking our infant out to eat or shop. I don't have to worry about them running into anything because it keeps them close enough to my chest.- Carrying my infant on the bus and showing them the sights (less than a mile).Considering that I wear a XXL shirt and am over 6 feet tall, it suits me perfectly. THIS CARRIER IS AMAZING!- The snaps are SO simple to put on and take off, and I'm not concerned about her fingers getting caught in them. Additionally, I can easily use one hand to close all the snaps. To get her in or out of this, I don't need anyone's support or assistance.- It is VERY SIMPLE to go on and off.- There is a technique to entirely detach the part that supports your baby from the straps on your back if my baby falls asleep in it, allowing you to transfer them to a crib without waking them. She will only let me put my kid in this one and it supports her properly.- We don't get overheated and sweaty being so close to one another because it is mesh and therefore really breathable.- It folds up quite tiny, and I can quickly throw it in my diaper bag.I can put her in there and just start walking when she's wailing, and she calms down.- She adores being able to see out and around. You can tighten the straps on the carrier around the baby's head to hold it close to your chest and provide more support because my baby, who is now 7 weeks old, is still developing the strength in her neck muscles. The straps can then be loosened as the child grows.Plus, as she ages, she will be able to face the world.- For as long as she is a year old, I can use this with her. The height of the carrier can be changed. Meaning that I may have it so that her body is higher on me when I wear it while they're very young, like mine is. As she develops and may modify it. The Infant Insert was returned by us...- I didn't feel the insert to be all that secure, and there was a lot to do when you have a small child.- They must be inserted into the insert before being placed in the carrier as a whole. Not something I could quickly dress my infant in while, say, at the airport. I can't just throw it all in the diaper bag since it's too bulky to do so.- We adore the carrier for use as our baby grows. It's a carrier that my husband stated he would use (he won't use any of the others) and it's just a great carrier in general.3. Original Cotton Wrap design by Baby K'tan Baby Carrier (similar to a wrap but less complicated)I really wanted to enjoy this one. A few of my mom friends have it and adore it. She was in it the first time, but the second time she just wouldn't go in.Wraps might not be our thing for my kid because I don't think she appreciated having her head wrapped and snuggled in there.- As far as wraps go, the wrap itself is rather simple to put on.- Prefers to fold up compactly.- Comes with a carrying case.Four-in-one convertible carrier by InfantinoSincerely, I made no attempt to involve her in this. Prior to the birth of my second daughter, I purchased the original Ergobaby 360 with insert Ergobaby 4 Position 360 Bundle Of Joy with Easy Snug Infant Insert, Grey. The Ergobaby Omni 360 arrived next, which I will review on Amazon. Here is a comparison between the 360 original and the Omni.I believe the Omni to be the replacement for the 360 carrier. They are constructed similarly and use the same fabric (slightly different color). The Omni feels more compact than the first 360.I settled with the hue grey while selecting the color for my first 360. Because I was worried about revealing cat fur and spit up stains, I chose against wearing black. But after wearing it once (and dropping a tomato slice on it), I realized that the fabric is not at all stain resistant and that I probably would have been happy with the black one.-Very comfortable for the wearer. From the ones I've tested, Ergobaby carriers are by far the most comfortable for the parent wearing the child. The carrier is still as comfy for my daughter, who is now 6 months old and 20 pounds, as it was for her when she was 8 pounds. I don't get bored wearing her for hours on end.-There is no insert, unlike the 360. When I purchased the original 360, I was shocked that there wasn't a more innovative solution to accommodate smaller infants than a supplemental insert that was sold separately. There are 3 places in the Omni that can be adjusted with Velcro to fit babies of various sizes, but there is NO INSERT. (Yay! I was unable to stand the insert.-Buckles rather than velcro at the waist. Although some individuals believed that the velcro wakes up a sleeping infant, I actually didn't mind the velcro. I would simply leave the carrier in place until I was ready to leave, at which point I would undo the Velcro. The buckle is easier to put on and take off than the velcro, despite the fact that I found the velcro to be easier to adjust.-Inbuilt hood for sun protection (same as original 360)– Storage space for phones, keys, etc. With room to spare, it accommodates my iPhone 6 and keys. With the exception of the hood storage area, my original 360 had no storage.Not quite as smokin' as the original 360 with insert. The Omni breathed better than the original 360.Cons: -Difficult to board. For me, this is the biggest drawback. Although my shoulders are rather flexible, I have trouble snapping the back shoulder buckle. I've discovered that it's easier to buckle the back shoulder strap after loosening the chest straps rather than the other way around. I must stress how important it is to WATCH THE VIDEOS ON THEIR WEBSITE. I attempted to put these carriers on solely by reading the instruction instructions, but I had a pretty difficult time picturing what to do. The website of Ergobaby has several good, brief videos that demonstrate how to wear or alter various postures.-Still not the best for tiny infants. My Baby Bjorn functioned much better when my child was between 7 and 10 pounds. I had the impression that a newborn felt as though she might slip out the leg openings of the Ergobaby (both the Omni and the original 360). (However, as I discovered with my older daughter, the Bjorn seems too tiny after the baby weighs about 15 lbs.)Baby still likes the Bjorn for the time being, but she is beginning to like the Ergobaby's "frog" position more. (EDIT: We shifted her to a forward-facing position, which she LOVES, once she was old enough to keep her head up well. The entire time she is in there, she coos and smiles and gleefully kicks her feet.In the lighter colors, there isn't much stain resistance. My tomato stain was mostly removed with Oxiclean, but not completely.– Still pricey. These carriers are pretty pricey, so if you don't use them frequently, you might be able to get by with a less costly one. I feel like I am always carrying the infant when there is an older child because otherwise I wouldn't get anything done. Therefore, having the best comfort for me is definitely worth the cost.My old Baby Bjorn is an excellent substitute for this, and I much like the Ergobaby Omni 360 carrier to the Ergobaby original 360 carrier. The Omni will be used for all of our future adventures and shorter walks/hikes, while I will continue to use my Osprey Poco Plus carrier for backpacking when she is older.

I'm not the type of person who carries a baby. I prefer using a stroller. However, I am taking my almost one-year-old this summer to some destinations that are not stroller friendly.She had tolerated the ordinary ergo for some time, but I knew that if we used it in the summer, we would both suffer heat stroke.Since we've had our ergo for almost a month, I can state the following:The mesh ergo is so light that wearing it is like wearing a belt and two backpack straps in the first place. I don't need to add any extra bulk to carry my baby.2. Forward facing—My daughter likes to explore and detests traveling with me in the back seat. She enjoys walking with us and prefers to ride facing front while kicking her feet and taking in the scenery. I can hold her feet, kiss her head, and always see exactly what she is doing. She is at ease and still mobile enough to grab things, which is wonderful for her.3. Additional benefits: Each strap has a small elastic band attached to it that keeps the extra strap material in place. Due to my petite frame, all of the excess strap length is prevented from dropping down.Additionally, with just two buckles to clip in, I can put this on and get her in it by myself. It's easy as pie!Although I am aware of how great the ergo 360 is, I didn't think it would work for us. However, it works. The expense was worthwhile.

a fantastic carrier for the money. My wife and I can carry our 6-week-old kid while still using our hands for domestic chores thanks to this carrier. My son loves to be hugged or carried at all times. When I am doing whatever—washing dishes, vacuuming, etc.—my son frequently nods off in this. I don't have to worry about him falling out of it when I lean down to pick something up. I appreciate this because of its straightforward, minimalist design, which enables me to toss it in the stroller's bottom for whenever we decide to travel somewhere that isn't convenient for strollers. You can see from the photos that it fits my frame (5'11", 190 lbs.) My wife, who is 10 inches shorter than myself, can also wear it. fantastic carrier The negative ratings of this airline are absurd. It's unfortunate that not all of the positive reviews are what you see first on Amazon. The padding makes the shoulder straps "bulky," but they are incredibly flexible and comfy. And I have no trouble slipping underneath jackets. Perhaps a tight-fitting jacket might be an exception, but a regular jacket would slide right over them. We already had a Kelty and a cool mesh K'tan, and I didn't grab this carrier because I assumed we would use the K'tan the most. Instead, we bought a cotton one as well. The Kelty, though, is substantial. This is absurdly lightweight, comfy, and the complete opposite of bulky. The two K'tans both perceive themselves as being significantly larger than this, most likely as a result of the densely wrapped cloth. I finally made the decision to try this carrier after seven months of not using our other carriers because they all overheated our baby, including the cool mesh K'tan, and never being able to get either of us comfortable in any of the carriers. Oh, how I wish I had received it sooner! It literally makes our baby grin when wearing it, and it is quite comfy for me to wear as well. The fact that our infant is highly active may be the reason the K'tans were never comfortable; within ten minutes of being in the K'tan, the baby needed to be supported by a ball of cloth under one leg due to the fabric pulling and becoming unbalanced. I'm not sure what the complaints are about because the mesh isn't uncomfortable, it's not soft like the K'tan mesh, but it's also not scratchy or rough either. I'm not sure what the complaints are about either because it is likewise very well built and the fabric is of the highest quality; it nearly has a denim-like texture but is a lighter weight cotton twill. However, given that it has been evaluated by others, I believe they may have made some changes. Since there is no "slide," as other reviewers have noted, the belt's adjustment for infant leg spacing is now Velcro, and it's a very secure Velcro. Could this mean that the fabric and mesh have also undergone changes?Overall, this carrier is great because it is lightweight, bulky, exactly fits our infant, and keeps our baby from overheating. Fantastic carrier.*update! The "slides" that other reviews have mentioned are on the carrier's body and are pretty poorly made. They slide a lot, but they are not necessary to keep the baby comfortable; the only thing that is required is the Velcro at the belt, which is adjustable. Uncertain of their intentions with the outer slides... As for the plastic rods that a different reviewer noted, I believe they are located here as well. However, since they are on the outside of the carrier, I don't think they pose a comfort risk. Just a tiny bit irritating. Despite this, I can see a utility for the slides since they allow you to alter the leg spacing without removing the carrier and readjusting the Velcro. They move around, which is unpleasant, but useful if you want to temporarily increase airflow. That's my two cents.
