I wanted gloves that wouldn't break the bank but also something that was made for some competitive play because I play goaltender in men's indoor rec leagues. Since I've only used them briefly, I won't be able to fully evaluate them till I've played a few games. UPDATE: For the price, a great good glove. I've participated in a lot of games on various artificial turf fields in them. They hold up better than I anticipated. I had to get some gloves because I had recently begun playing goalie. I purchased these (Talon Ignite) since the pricing was reasonable and I adored the fit and padding when they arrived. But after only 5 games, they are in terrible shape. Since I play in a recreational league, the balls aren't really flying in; rather, typical wear and tear has caused this.At this price, I wasn't expecting the nicest gloves in the world, but I was hoping for something that would last longer than a season.New information:I contacted the business's customer service via Facebook shortly after posting this review as well. The exact photographs I shared here and the original order details were sent to them via email after some brief dialogue. After a few days and a few emails, I receive a replacement pair of gloves from them. I'm eager to test out the new gloves and will undoubtedly give the brand another go (they are sending the Triton model as my size in the Talon Ignite model was out of stock). I wasn't satisfied with how the Talon's held up in the end, but they went above and above to make it right, which shouldn't be undervalued. I'm still unsure of the precise source of the unusually rapid latex breakdown, but I'm crossing my fingers that it's an isolated incident. They also provided some advice on the latex's moisture in the support email, which I will also use. They are adequate all around. I am neither a professional keeper nor a newcomer. For the benefit of all keepers, let's dissect this glove into a few key points. For a short summary, read the first sentence of each paragraph.Comfort and material: The padding appears robust and solid, however the savers are flexible.The padding of the gloves is more than adequate. They are surprising on the outside and have considerable cushioning within. I use a size 9 glove because I am so accustomed to playing basketball and feeling like I am near the ball, so the extra space they advise for keepers has always annoyed me. I got a size 10 for this one, and it fits okay. Still cozy, still tightly gripped, and still close. They have a tiny, thin zipper, but from the way it looks, it might come undone. In particular, in indoor games. The finger savers are stiff, but they become incredibly soft after being broken in one game. Since I prefer them very stiff, for some people, this may be a major consideration. They'll get the job done, but it seems like they might give up to a full-range indoor close-range shot or fail to resist it.Style: Black is reliable, doesn't get too dirty, has nice design, and is comfortable.Although you can't see it, they are black and have a great design on the outside. This would be ideal if you prefer your style and appearance for games to be all-black or to look cool or fresh when watching one. I prefer to look beautiful on the field because it gives me more confidence, and a goalkeeper needs all the assistance they can get.Review of the whole game After a two-game break, the feeling was sufficient to conclude that it had been worthwhile for the comfort.During my second indoor game, this glove felt comfortable and ready to play, and it wasn't at all unpleasant. Since the original grip is losing its stickiness, more grip is required, but it's better to have less so that a GK can customize it to their playing style. I'll mix in some GloveGlu or reconditioner to see how the glove responds.The pricing is comparable to Brines, Nike, and Addias, but as this is their higher-end line, the materials are better.The materials will hold up for a few games, but they feel a little better than my Brine King Match Premiers. I used the Brines for at least six months. I've had the Brine 3X King Match for a year, but the strap is completely gone, and the cushioning is racked with holes. Due to the fact that they were all roughly the same price, I'm comparing these gloves to the Fury. These appear to be superior, but time will tell. To make sure they last, I'll keep these in good condition and take care of them away from the field. In around six months, I might review these.

These Renegade Gloves are my son's first pair, and he really enjoys them. As a full-time U12 goalie who practices 4-5 days a week and plays in games, we go through 2 pairs of gloves per season (fall and spring). Gloves are not long-lasting items, therefore you should prepare to replace them frequently, especially if you have numerous practices and games every week. To ensure you always have the optimal grip for games, you should alternate between using a set of gloves for practice and a pair for competition. These gloves are a fantastic value and on par with the Reusch/Adidas gloves I buy for between $79.99 and $89.99. I haven't seen a wrist band like this in Reusch, Adidas, or Nike, and it offers a ton of extra support. The significant (thick) cushioning on the palm gives protection for those extremely forceful stops without hurting. Although I have returned more gloves to the store than I care to confess since my son is SO particular about his gloves, he liked the way these fit. I was apprehensive to purchase gloves on Amazon from a brand I had never heard of, but I'm so pleased I did! These are definitely worth a shot, and the manufacturer backs up what they sell. I purchased these gloves to utilize during my college's intramural soccer season. I chose to try these gloves because they included Fingersave because I had recently damaged one of my fingers (protective plastic or metal pieces in each finger, not thumbs, that can help prevent hypertension). I've played with the gloves in five games so far, but I'm still not sure how I feel about them.Although I can't prove it, I feel rather convinced that the shots I've blocked in the past—which resulted in broken fingers—would have nonetheless broken my fingers even if I was wearing these. The fingersaves appear to be made of rather cheap plastic and don't provide much support. The purpose of fingersaves is to give your fingers extra support in the event of potential harm, not to completely avoid breaks or sprains. When viewed from this angle, I believe the gloves are functional.Unfortunately, the gloves do show some small (but apparent) wear after only five games. Granted, all gloves will eventually show signs of wear, but these are most definitely not the kind of gloves that will endure for a very long time.Last but not least, I do find these gloves to be incredibly effective and pleasant. Although these are not the nicest gloves I have ever used, they do work quite well and are reasonably priced. For someone searching for practice gloves or just the weekend warrior who occasionally plays pick up, these are unquestionably worth the investment.
