Finally, gluten free and portable, which is already a winning combination for my family. But, they are also Snyder's of Hanover!!! Snyder's of Hanover is our entire family of 6's first rate choice for gluten free pretzels. Even my extended family and friends eat them up at our house. I wish every manufacturer of gluten free products would make more portable food choices. Now, if only we could work on the price point.....the multi serving packages are extremely reasonable but $20 for this is overkill. Still worth having portable choices for my kids!!

First, let it be known that I don’t normally even LIKE pretzels. Someone brought a bag of Dot’s pretzels to me that they had purchased in another state (they are not available in-store where I live). These pretzels are otherworldly. They have such a unique flavor — buttery and salty with a touch of delicious seasoning that really sets them apart from other pretzels. You just have to try them to understand how good they are. Also, the bag zips up and the pretzels stay fresh for a lot longer than you would imagine, if they’re not all eaten immediately which is generally the case at my house. I would just as soon snack on Dot’s as I would potato chips — this, coming from someone who doesn’t even like pretzels! Trust me. Delicious!

I must start with a full disclosure: I LOVE PRETZELS. Love, love them. I eat them most days of the week. They are my very favorite snack. Ok, now I'll attempt to provide an impartial review.
Another reviewer noted that the description online is incorrect - yes, that is true, the bag that arrived had 3 types of pretzels: Mini, Sticks, and Snaps. No flavored pretzels - just your normal, run-of-the-mill salty snack.
That being said, there's really no downside to this bag. The pretzels are crunchy and delicious, and you'll feel happy eating them. The individual bag size is perfect for a quick snack, or you could double up and take 2 bags and not feel too bad about eating 200 calories for a quick snack. If you think about it, that's probably much less than what you'd normally snack on if you ate them directly from a larger bag.
Some quick stats about the product:
- The product arrived in good condition. The pretzels were fresh and crunchy - nothing was opened or crushed or stale.
- Expiration date: 12/5/2015, though some bags had the date of 12/12/2015.
- The container bag is made from "100% compostable, renewable material," which is a fancy way of saying you can recycle it and put it in your compost pile.
- Here's an interesting fact: The Snaps pretzels have an ingredient that the other 2 don't have - bromelain. Bromelain is a protein that comes from pineapples. And sure enough, the Snaps pretzels have 1 extra gram of protein (3 vs. 2).

I bought the big jar of the Wickedly Prime Peanut Butter-Filled Pretzels, 44 Ounce size.
I was surprised at how big of a jar that you actually get. I started wondering if we would be able to eat them all before any got stale. I happily tasted one and I was hooked. Very yummy with just the right amount of peanut butter filling! Then my Husband tried them, loved them and apparently got addicted to them!
2 days later the jar is over half empty and my husband is worried that we will run out soon and he asked, (actually pleaded), for me to order more. So, yes these are good! Very Good! Maybe even too good?

We ordered the variety pack (24 total) and for the price you really can’t beat it. We got six Buffalo Wing Flavor, six Garlic Parmesan, and twelve of the Original flavor- I was a little worried that we’d end up with bags of pretzel dust but they are for the most part in tact when we open up the bags (better than the crushed ones we get from the grocery store haha). It’s a generous portion and I love to dip the Original flavor in hummus for an afternoon snack. Overall my favorite is the Buffalo Wing flavor because I’m a Texas Pete fanatic but the Garlic Parmesan flavor is good too- they remind me of a crispy version of an Olive Garden breadstick. We’ll definitely be ordering these again when we run out. They’re easy to pack, easy to open (even for my five year old), and they’re all tasty- highly recommend!

I have ordered a few snack products through Amazon and many times been disappointed with the freshness of the product. These however exceeded my expectations. First of all they shipping was great. They got to my home earlier than expected. Secondly they were just thrown in the box which sometimes happens. They were well packaged so one doesn't end up with a bag full of crumbs. Upon their arrival we couldn't wait to dig in. They were as fresh as can be and tasted great. I would definitely buy these again.

Peanut butter filled pretzels are a weakness of mine. I have various ways of eating them. Sometimes I will pop one into my mouth and let it dissolve, enjoying the salty taste. Other times I will pop the back off of the pretzel to get at the peanut butter, followed by the satisfying crunch of the front. Of course, I also love to just pop one in my mouth and chew it up, enjoying the taste, accepting that, on occasion, the peanut butter or pretzel will stick to the roof of my mouth, which just gives me an excuse to eat another one. I have tried several brands, and these are very much like the other brands, with one exception: the container.
All of the other brands I have eaten have square containers with an indented section as a "handle" and the exact same lid. On those containers, this works out well because when you first open the package, there is a thick paper and foil seal that makes the cover hard to twist, and every subsequent removal gives you something to hold on to, as the container is larger than most people's hands. Unfortunately, the container for this brand is completely round. Most people, when opening a container with a twist top will grasp the container in one hand and the top on the other, then twist it off, and doing the reverse to put the lid back on. Due to the size and round nature of this container, you can't do that. The container slides in your hand, leading to creative solutions to remove the lid and put it back on. This is important, because these taste horrible when they are stale. Hopefully they correct the packaging in the future.

We are a pretzel family usually just buying store brand bags. When I found this deal I checkednout the reviews because having chips and items of that sort shipped i just didnt want them to be in pieces. But the proce point was great shipping was 1 day with prime which was nice. Thw pretzels were great we did take a photo of the bottom of the container to show there really was little to no breakage mainly salt was on the bottom which made the purchase worth it. The freshness was great they werent stale or hard to eat. There is also a photo of my son with the pretzels to show the size of container. We are a sports mainly hockey family so pretzels are a big snack in our family specially after practice or game. We will be buying more for not just us but for the entire team.

These pretzel sandwiches are absolutely my new favorite snack. I have had plenty of expiration date issues with the amazon bulk boxes of snack foods, so I don’t doubt the other reviews complaining about that, but I bough mine as a box of 30 with a prime discount I’d received and they have an expiration date nearly a year from now. But to get back to the pretzels...
I love Snyder’s products, especially their honey mustard pretzel pieces and those may actually still be my favorite snack food but these are amazing in a non-tooth breaking way. Rather than the hefty crunch of the pretzel pieces these have a light crispy crunch to them with a really outstanding smooth & full malt “pretzel” flavor baked into the outer shell. The cheese filling could use a little more bite in my opinion, but I like sharp cheddar and that whole subculture of acidic aged cheese lovers that you can find huddled under bridges around chunks of Gouda or sneaking their own hand grated Parmesan into Pizza Hut stashed in their underwear but that’s a whole other story. I do think that the lighter flavor of the filling lets the flavor of the pretzels really shine, so I’m happy.
The serving sizes are a little small, but they work fine for my four year old, if he can learn how to pry them from my cold dead fingers because that’s the only way you’ll catch me sharing.

PSA: Whenever you buy candies/snacks from Amazon that is heavily discounted, it usually means you have a month to ravage down what you bought or it comes expired. I think I've learned my lesson now. Fortunately, my box of Pretzels didn't come expired. However, I have about a month to eat the 48 Count of Pretzels. As much as I like Synder's Pretzels, that's not easy. I think it's unfair to rate a product solely based on it's expiration date since it's not the fault of the product itself so I only ended up taking 1 star away to balance the rest of the other 1 star rated reviews due to expiration date. Synder's Pretzels are great tasting! It's not too salty and they usually taste really fresh unless you get ones near expiration date so if you like pretzels, I definitely recommend.
As a suggestion to Amazon, I think that products that go on sale should definitely have expiration date attached next to it somewhere and not appear AFTER a purchase has been made. When I go to my orders, this is what shows up next to the order ID: "Condition: New - This item will expire on 8/4/19." It would definitely make people less angry if that were to show prior to purchasing.
