For my Siamese cat, I've been seeking for a highly robust harness.A red one is also available for my Bengal.They are both very active, and they like to tug on the leash when we go for walks, so I needed a leash that was both durable and comfy for them.This harness has been excellent, and it is holding up fantastically.The harness stays on both of them despite their modest physique differences.All I had to do was make sure they fit properly during the initial fitting.It does attract cat fur quite a bit, so I have to clean it more frequently than with other harnesses. However, that is only a small issue and doesn't really affect me.I really wish there was a method to secure all the excess strap that just flops around carelessly.We could fold the excess to the harness if the strap had a few loops.The harness is quite secure, as you can see in the video (as I try to persuade my cat to come down from a wall). When I do tug on the leash, there is a little give (from elasticized straps) in it as well. I was satisfied with how the neck area fit, however I thought the stomach strap should be longer. A little over an inch of Velcro was visible at the neck opening when the harness was on my cat, but I'd estimate that roughly three inches of Velcro were visible on the underbelly strap (for comparison, the neck Velcro piece measured 3 1/8" and the other Velcro piece was 4"). The problem with this is that she got the Velcro stuck on the carpet when she laid down while I was trying to acclimate her to the harness by having her wear it about the house, which caused her to stress out when she tried to get up. She only ever managed to free herself from the harness once, and it was only possible because the harness was affixed to the carpet. It worked when I put a separate piece of Velcro over it to prevent her from getting caught again, but it would have been good if it had fit better from the start. Other than that, it's a terrific harness that does the job. If you intend to use it for your cat, I would, however, strongly advise getting a Large.
