This is fantastic stuff. I regret not starting to buy it for my guinea pig much earlier. Since I can remember, I've had piggies and have always used pine shavings. Recently, I made the transition to this Clean and Cozy bedding, and I love it. The pig I currently own dislikes having polar fleece in her cadge because she feels like she doesn't know where to relieve herself. Instead, she seems to be much happier with shavings made of wood. So I changed her to this, which is much easier on her paws than pine, and she took to it right away. And the hue of the birthday cake is very lovely. It's lively and colorful and looks fantastic on her. I only regret not utilizing this sooner. Awesome bedding for guinea pigs!

My two dwarf rabbits have a horrible habit of destroying their litter box by burrowing in it every single day. Purchasing this will assist keep their cage a little bit cleaner and prevent that. So far, it works excellent! They took a day to get used to the grate, but now that they do, I only have to clean up stray excrement instead of their entire spilled dish. Unfortunately, I can't use the locks. Since my rabbits are intelligent and have long since figured out how to get rid of those, I use tiny twist ties to secure it. Great results.The litter pan should be changed every 1-2 days, depending on how much your rabbit has filled it, with ANY litter pan. Due to its high acidity, rabbit urine will eventually clog the pan's bottom no matter what you do. It WILL happen, according to various comments I've read in the online reviews. So make sure to clean it periodically, and even if it does, it won't ruin everything. They may employ it... My rabbits have gone through three pans so far; I have to spend $6 a year to replace them since they nibble on them and ruin them.

We felt the pet store bedding was wonderful and used it for our pet rats for years. I can't recall the name, but there was a thicker, more durable paper bedding that was available in a wide range of colors. We have been VERY happy with it after I spotted it on Amazon and decided to test it. I adore how fluffy and soft it is; it seems like Miss Sandy Noodle's tiny feeties would be much more at ease wearing it. She adores moving it around because it is so simple for her to mold into a nest. And what's the finest part? the odor. WAY superior to the other bedding. I'm not referring to right out of the packaging, but it smells MUCH less bad after being soiled in the cage. It seemed like only a day would go by before you could smell the cage, and it's a very big cage, before Miss Sandy's cage companion tragically passed away and left us. Since it could actually take two weeks for this bedding to even begin to smell, we are now extra careful to change it.This bedding is really amazing. I and the Noodle highly suggest this! (She actually doesn't care all that much about bedding, but she sure does enjoy cheerios.)

Each enclosure includes one cage with fleece bedding and one with this paper bedding. Mikey, my tiny 8-week-old pig, appears to appreciate it the most. I was debating using only fleece, but my piggies adore this stuff much too much. It is now a mainstay of our care. As long as you spot clean, it definitely helps keep the odor to a minimal.

Our guinea pigs have been using Carefresh bedding for years. We only ever contemplate utilizing this brand. But even so, I wish the quality had been more constant. I am aware that the origin of recovered paper fiber varies greatly, however the natural paper bedding can vary depending on the batch from harsher brown bedding to fluffier gray bedding (see photo). When shopping, I typically aim to choose the gray Natural bedding bags that are softer and fluffier. You get what you order when you place an online order.February 2019 Update: Instead of stating that it contains recovered paper fiber, Carefresh has altered its packaging (see second photo), which now states on the back that it is "crafted from scratch with pillowy soft, highly absorbent comfyfluff" (on the old packaging). Since it became available a few months ago, I've purchased Carefresh in the new sort of packaging from a few different places, and it still occasionally differs significantly from batch to batch (see totally different colors and textures of two different batches in second photo). Recent observations indicate that despite the improved packaging labeling, the product's quality is not more dependable. Since there still seem to be issues with product consistency, even while I still appreciate the product enough to keep using it, I'm not raising my rating to five stars.

Here is a detailed analysis I did of the product:The white tint makes it simple to spot-clean more filthy areas, extending the life of individual bags as a full dump-out cage clean is not usually required. The only bedding I've tried for my mice that appears to be completely dust-free is this product. This is crucial since small animals have sensitive respiratory systems and need bedding free of dust if you want to give them a long, healthy life. This bedding is cozy and soft, and it gives my pets great materials for nesting and digging tunnels. Hamsters and mice, which naturally burrow and construct nests, benefit from this bedding since it makes their life more enjoyable. This bed spreads out a lot! I can easily give each of my five mice 2-3 full dump-and-fill changes each bag, which is as excellent a return as one can hope for in a setup like mine. - I have five mice in three distinct cages. I believe the cost of this item is fair, especially during sales.What I don't like: - Low odor absorption, though I'm not as bothered by this as some people are because I enjoy a mild mouse odor. This element might not be suitable for people who live with male rodents because they have a greater odor.Overall, I adore this item. It keeps my daughters thriving, content, and tunneling.
