These "cameras" feature a 360° dome design, but it is clear that there is only one direction the camera is pointing. They don't seem too flimsy and seem legitimate, especially from a distance. They have simple screws for attachment. I'll probably keep using the light without batteries because I wish there was a way to leave it on.Thankfully, the camera's front does not have Armo written in blue print as seen. Nothing is written on it.Additionally, I bought placards to put up next to the camera.Do not use this in place of actual security. You need a visual deterrent, right? Stop looking; this is it. This was just installed on some old siding behind the gutters, facing directly out toward the driveway, next to the floodlight, and from that distance, it appears to be entirely authentic (bad pic attached, but you get the idea). Nicely packaged, with a paper guide for the screws, both devices resemble the office cameras that my boss frequently watches the feeds from, and they *do* have lights. After inserting some energizer batteries, it immediately took off.Red Light: After reading every single review—I mean every single one—I was really worried that the red blinking lights would be a "dead giveaway" to the crims. But here's the thing, depending on the angle, you can hardly see the red light during the day. Also, it reads as motion if you are that close. At night, it appears as though the tiny red blink is following you as it blinks on, waits, then turns off. This, in my opinion, is one of the key characteristics that gives it an authentic aspect. Since the cameras I use for work contain green lights, lights are a real thing. As others have commented, I didn't add any phony cords, stickers, signs, or extras. In my opinion, this is excessive, but it depends on your circumstances.Summary: Strongly advised! I did buy some Wyze cameras, which I love, and I use them together with these false cameras to feel really secure in and around my home. Most offenders are ignorant, not skilled Ocean 11 members aiming to score big. They are uncertain as to whether it is wireless, wired, infrared, motion, pan, ring, nest, or an adt, and I doubt they will take a chance with these nearby.

Even though they readily snap pictures of others, some people dread having their pictures taken. This applies to some yard mower types and dudes who like to cruise through our neighborhood; when a camera is pointed at them in their misbehaviors, like throwing customer yard waste that they create, in to yards surrounding the customer [yes, our neighbor, who has no idea about those bad activities], they go ballistic and scatter like bugs in the light. These "cameras" have actually caused these people to alter their behavior in strange ways, such as parking the truck and trailer far down the street and turning away from our house throughout the entire yard mowing, trimming, and cleanup process—there is no longer any additional yard waste to clean up! And when they see the "cameras," guys who are cruising literally run away like scalded dogs. When I'm outdoors with them, other yard mower people don't even notice the "cameras" and talk to me. Neighbors also don't give a damn about being captured on "cameras." So, I wonder what state prison these other inmates escaped from to get down here where it's sunny! Oh, and the fact that the rust-belt plates are still on the cars is also a bit of a giveaway.

This fake camera performs flawlessly! Just mount it to the wall and insert two AA batteries. Included are mount plates and screws. Looks like the high-resolution bullet cameras that cost $100. IT SEEMS REAL, TOO! A product barcode is present! I like how the "infrared light" can be positioned such that it faces the door each night and illuminates to scare off trespassers. Even if you look attentively, it is impossible to distinguish between a real camera and a phony one. I should say it's an excellent purchase. Setup was simple. My router is a Netgear. It is NOT the standard 192.168.1.1 router ID. The QR code setup was unsuccessful. To set up the app, I must connect via an Ethernet wire. The app is where I can do everything. After the brief 14-day trial period, one must pay a charge to continue receiving notifications.The camera is durable and well-made. The video is really clear, and the WIFI reception is excellent. It could perform smoothly across a respectable distance. I hope the camera would allow us to manually enter into the camera's IP address and configure the port and gmail SMTP server, just like foscam. I could then set up the alarm without having to pay for the service.

If it's possible, I'd place them in a shaded spot away from the sun and the rain. I made no attempt to try and put batteries in them. Since there isn't a reliable garbage service where I live, some neighbors and I have been sharing the expense of a dumpster for a number of years. Trespassers and unlawful use have occasionally caused us some issues, but nothing big. This developed into a MAJOR issue for unknown reasons, however I would wager it has something to do with the opioid crisis. The dumpster was regularly misused. It was overflowing at least twice, making it impossible for authorized people to utilize. At least two homeowners can see it, and we all stayed vigilant in an effort to catch them in the act, but we were unsuccessful. On a few occasions, we even dumped diving into the bags and discovered name-containing mail and empty Oxycontin bottles. Several times, sheriff's deputies were called. Deputies did visit these residences, and the residents denied using the dumpster (as was expected), but we believed the threat of trespassing charges would dissuade them. Not at all. The magistrate declined to issue warrants despite the fact that we installed deer cams and successfully identified one person. I acquired this false camera. I mounted it on a post that I positioned about 10 feet away from a utility pole and facing the dumpster. A black wire with a hole in the middle has been stapled down the length of the utility pole. Under the false camera, I put an electrical junction box. I then fed the wire through the junction box and into a conduit that blends into the ground. It has the distinct impression that the power supply for the camera post is provided by a wire on the utility pole (or whatever it may be). Since I installed the camera, there haven't been any instances of trespassing or unauthorized use. In just four months, we've already gained more value than I paid for and might have saved some pill-head trespasser from real suffering.

These match the description. They are extremely lightweight and have a realistic appearance. Instead of using the (too small) hardware built into my exterior stucco walls, I attached using strong duty Velcro.The four security camera stickers are a good addition, and I stuck one on my slider, one on the glass by the front entrance, and the others on side windows that were otherwise blocked off by fencing.I did not like that the item was not packaged in an outer carton. It was obvious to everyone who interacted with the box, mail carrier, and local delivery agency that I was receiving "fake" cameras (see photo). It would have been more covert to use a shipping box. Overall, four stars.
