The quality is still quite high even though this shower curtain isn't as thick (and perhaps less sturdy?) than the last fabric shower curtain I had. Just as advertised, it is lightweight and water resistant. I like how the buttonhole-like hook holes at the top of the curtain are made of fabric rather than metal, which prevents rust. Once it gets dirty, I'm going to bleach it and wash it in the machine to see how it holds up. I believe it will work just well despite the low weight and more plastic-like quality of this curtain. This shower curtain liner is excellent. It could also be used as the main curtain because it is completely opaque.

UPDATE: After publishing this review, I got in touch with the seller and was very surprised by the caliber of customer service they provided. My curtain had been mildewing for months when I emailed them about it. They swiftly responded and sent me a replacement, which arrived two days after they emailed me. Although I still wish the curtain hadn't mildewed, the excellent customer service has caused me to upgrade my rating from 2 to 4. I merely adore it thus far! I had never considered using a fabric shower liner previously, even though we have a mildew issue in the bathroom. It's really too early to tell as it's only been a few weeks, but I'll post an update in a few months regardless.This is much nicer than a vinyl liner because it doesn't have a bad chemical smell (actually, it doesn't have any scent at all), filters light well, and doesn't feel chilly or unpleasant to rub against in the shower. The only problem is that it isn't weighted at the bottom like I anticipated. As it turns out, I don't have a problem with this, but other individuals might. Although I don't aim the shower head directly at the floor, I haven't seen any water spilling onto it either.Additionally, even though it came with regular rings, I purchased those rings with two hooks separately (one for this liner and the other for the outer curtain). This makes it so much simpler to erect and take down, making it much easier to remove and wash if I should notice mildew. I sincerely hope that my follow-up report would only contain positive news!

There is no need to worry about it not having magnets on the bottom since this REALLY remains in place. This is the first time I've discovered a liner that is truly high duty and made of a very thick material. Additionally, the bottom and sides don't have any folded seams that could "possibly" mildew; all edges are simply straight cut edges.The light it lets into the shower space makes it feel larger, and I love it so much that I opted not to use the exterior curtain with it. It does emit an odor, so those of you who are sensitive should be aware of that. My husband, who is not as chemically sensitive as I am, didn't detect anything. After hanging it out that evening, I used a small fan to air toward the open window because I wouldn't have someplace to put it for a few days to "off-gas." The next morning, the odor was far less offensive (thank goodness it is summer), but I then remembered one of the excellent tips and decided to put a cotton ball treated with citronella essential oil on a neighboring shelf to assist clear the air, and it REALLY worked. I was able to turn off the fan the following morning.When I first opened the package, the curtain had a fine white powdered coating on the outside that I assumed was there to make it easier to unfold, however it did clean off with a moist cloth. merely a hunch; who knows...)Now, after having this up for more than a month, I started to get annoyed by the water spots, so I liberally sprayed it with that cleaning bubbles spray foam, let it do its thing, and now I'm truly in love LOL no more water spots (and we have hard water) In all fairness, I did not take away a star for the smell because it is stated to be PVC and it was my fault for not noticing it. However, I am glad I did because (1) the enjoyment — yes, enjoyment over a shower curtain/liner — is well worth the brief off-gas and (2) had I remembered the tip about using essential oils to clear the air sooner, it would have been much better.

These shower curtains are reasonably priced and medium weight, not as thin as dollar store curtains, not as thick as more costly curtains, and definitely NOT as the description claims "The length of 72 inches (industrial heavyweight) seems to be quite true. It includes three tiny, dime-sized magnets at the bottom of the curtain, but they aren't all that helpful while the curtain is billowing during a shower. Grommets are in the shower hook hole. Overall, I'm happy with the pricing and the purchase. The shower curtain is really functional. Nothing particularly remarkable, but it functions as it should. prevents water from touching the floor. To be completely honest, I would have ordinarily made this transaction locally. However, I'm lazy because I could just click a few buttons to have things delivered to my house without leaving the same house. Although this liner is rather thin, it is not an issue. I had no trouble putting it up, although several reviews mentioned the fragile material or something similar. Although I don't think it's a problem, I imagine others would. Mine adheres to my shower perfectly and accomplishes everything that is required to line the shower and prevent water damage.The liner I received had a lovely, semi-thick feel to it rather than feeling like a garbage bag or a collection of plastic bags. The plastic substance has an above-ground pool liner-like feel. In terms of installation, or inserting the shower rings through the holes in the plastic, I suppose more people need to have a "arm day." I currently wear plastic rings, and while some of the holes in the rings weren't punched out completely, I was still able to puncture through the plastic with hardly any strength or effort. I've purchased a ton of liner at this price and at much higher prices than this one and had to pop the plastic middles out of the hole in each one of them as well. A great finishing touch is the magnets in the liner's bottom corners. It prevents a draft from entering my shower as frequently.

No matter how high-quality they are, shower curtains at my house always seem to develop a revolting scarlet color. Most likely due to the harsh water: I made the decision to save the $30 that I would have normally spent and thought that the 2 for 10 was a fantastic price for something that would most likely be thrown away in a few months. The only issue is that they are a little thin, my cats enjoy playing in the tub, and the current one has quite a few holes. I went for white because it hides all the shower-related products and gives the space a cleaner appearance. While not completely opaque such that the light from the window in the shower is blocked, it is sufficiently opaque to prevent you from seeing any details of someone taking a shower.
