I bought these shower caps because I was sick of having to buy the less expensive, thinner plastic ones that would usually shred after only a few uses and weren't particularly durable. The quality of them surprised me in a good way. They resemble a shower curtain for your head and are thick yet flexible and sturdy. It's a little huge because my head is a bit small, but at least all of my hair fits in there and is kept dry. These appear to be durable over time.

My hair has been purple for the past year and a half. Although I adore the color, I wasn't really fond with the salon fee. I recently took advantage of the opportunity to give both my hair and my wallet a break because my stylist recently went on maternity leave. I was allowing the hue to deteriorate and missing the color purple. In the end, I discovered a color-depositing condition that called for a minimum of 20 minutes of exposure. I resolved to give it a try. Problem is that it can stain. I purchased these shower caps for two reasons: I needed a means to keep my hair and the color in check and I wanted to leave the conditioner in for longer than the recommended 20 minutes.This turned out to be a fantastic purchase. It held my hair and the colour in place without any issues for about three hours. When I was finished, I could throw it away and wash the colorant out. Simple and clean. I still have 99 caps left to use before I buy again, but I would do so.

As a chef, I use these to cover bowls, plates, containers for rising or proofing dough (spray the interior with nonstick baking spray), picnic supplies, leftovers, mis en place trays, and pretty much everything else that I used to wrap in plastic wrap. If you don't have gloves, grab greasy pieces or use a gas can to protect your hands from the grease/stench if you need to jump start a battery or perform another task in the rain without getting your head wet. Take a few with you to pick up dog waste.You'll find applications for them if you purchase the 100 pack (why it costs $6.97 and the 30-pack costs $26.68 I'll never understand).

Although I don't wash my hair every day, I do take a daily shower. I had been showering with disposable shower caps over my hair. I made the decision that I wanted something a little more robust and long-lasting. I'm glad I bought it since I'm happy with it. To be clear, I DO NOT allow the water to stream over my head. Although I usually keep my head out of the water, the cap offers moisture/humidity protection. I haven't tested it in the water, but I don't think many, if any, shower caps are water resistant in that sense.My long hair, which I keep in a loose bun when I shower, has plenty of room in the shower cap. The shower cap is fairly roomy, in my opinion. I do, however, have a small head.

Okay, where do I begin? I'll start by stating that this item is truly EXTRA JUMBO. It was so huge as I pulled it down over my entire head that it wasn't even in contact with my face. I was searching for a soft, loose-fitting large cap made of satin, but this isn't satin. Compared to soft and satiny, it is more rigid and puffy. It fits my head snugly enough to be comfortable and stay in place while I sleep, but not too tightly. I suppose my head size is average. It's breathable, but I wouldn't put this on a tiny child's head unless they had a lot of hair since I can see it slipping forward and hiding their face. If I wash it with fabric softener, will the cloth be able to be slightly loosened up? It appears to have only received minimal starching. The other reviewers' photographs, in my opinion, don't really capture how big this thing is in person. When I first took it out of the packing, I believed they had sent me the wrong item of apparel. I took pictures so I could contrast it with my present satin bonnet. I wanted this since my previous bonnet is too small for when I put my hair on top like a pineapple and doesn't cover my edges at all; however, this one is so stupidly enormous that I feel silly wearing it. However, I will because I ordered it! But I lack the necessary hair for that. This item has to be filled up, LOL! I may end up using it for my daughter's hair or getting one for her because she can most certainly fill it up. I included pictures so you could see the actual size of the object. It is really big, so be careful!
