Shower Cap, ESARORA 4 PACK Bath Cap Designed for Women Waterproof Double Layer Review:

I bought these shower caps because I was sick of having to buy the less expensive, thinner plastic ones that would usually shred after only a few uses and weren't particularly durable. The quality of them surprised me in a good way. They resemble a shower curtain for your head and are thick yet flexible and sturdy. It's a little huge because my head is a bit small, but at least all of my hair fits in there and is kept dry. These appear to be durable over time.

Betty Dain Fashionista Collection Mold Resistant Lined Shower Cap, Deco Dots Review:

We all think it's cute, according to the wife. However, for those who would like to know what they are receiving:Shower caps are excessively pricey, but at least this one was made with some thought and attention to detail. The cap has two layers: a thin inner layer of plastic and a delicate outer layer of printed nylon. The outer edge of the pink piping creates a tunnel for the elastic so that it does not come into contact with your flesh. I think this cap will fit most women, but will not accommodate medium or large rollers; measurement from front edge (forehead) to edge at nape of neck is 18". Circumference of opening is 15 inches when not expanded; it may be stretched to 18 to 20 inches. and beyond, naturally feeling tighter. UPDATE: Still works perfectly and keeps hair dry after a year of use. May 2018 Update: Used for 3 Years and Still Good!

The "ruching" 2" higher on the cap is created by a thin circular elastic with a cover that is sewed within the cap (stitching through the two layers of the cap). Given that the cap looks more bouffant on the girl in the photo than it does on mine, she must have a small head. This hat should fit the majority of women, but it won't fit medium or large rollers; the distance from the front edge (forehead) to the edge at the nape of the neck is 18 inches ". The circumference of the aperture is 15 inches when not extended; it stretches to a reasonable 18 to 20 inches, after which it feels tighter. Vextronic Disposable Shower Cap,100 Pcs Larger and Thicker Waterproof Shower Cap for Women,Individually Wrapped. (100Pcs) Review:

My hair has been purple for the past year and a half. Although I adore the color, I wasn't really fond with the salon fee. I recently took advantage of the opportunity to give both my hair and my wallet a break because my stylist recently went on maternity leave. I was allowing the hue to deteriorate and missing the color purple. In the end, I discovered a color-depositing condition that called for a minimum of 20 minutes of exposure. I resolved to give it a try. Problem is that it can stain. I purchased these shower caps for two reasons: I needed a means to keep my hair and the color in check and I wanted to leave the conditioner in for longer than the recommended 20 minutes. This turned out to be a fantastic purchase. It held my hair and the colour in place without any issues for about three hours. When I was finished, I could throw it away and wash the colorant out. Simple and clean. I still have 99 caps left to use before I buy again, but I would do so.

Diane Hair Processing Caps 100 Count Review:

As a chef, I use these to cover bowls, plates, containers for rising or proofing dough (spray the interior with nonstick baking spray), picnic supplies, leftovers, mis en place trays, and pretty much everything else that I used to wrap in plastic wrap. They fit every oddly shaped container I have tried, as well as round, square, and rectangular pans as well as 1/2 hotel pans (and smaller). One of the easiest kitchen-working advice I can provide anyone is this. They are also excellent for keeping a camera dry while it is raining or misting, whether it is mounted on a tripod or not (lift the front off of the lens when taking a shot, put it back over it until the next shot)Numerous more uses include painting light fittings and covering plants and containers to improve humidity. If you don't have gloves, grab greasy pieces or use a gas can to protect your hands from the grease/stench if you need to jump start a battery or perform another task in the rain without getting your head wet. Take a few with you to pick up dog waste. You'll find applications for them if you purchase the 100 pack (why it costs $6.97 and the 30-pack costs $26.68 I'll never understand).

Goody Hair Styling Essentials Shower Cap, Large (Pack of 1) Review:

Although I don't wash my hair every day, I do take a daily shower. I had been showering with disposable shower caps over my hair. I made the decision that I wanted something a little more robust and long-lasting. I'm glad I bought it since I'm happy with it. To be clear, I DO NOT allow the water to stream over my head. Although I usually keep my head out of the water, the cap offers moisture/humidity protection. I haven't tested it in the water, but I don't think many, if any, shower caps are water resistant in that sense. My long hair, which I keep in a loose bun when I shower, has plenty of room in the shower cap. The shower cap is fairly roomy, in my opinion. I do, however, have a small head.

AKOAK 5 Pieces Reusable Waterproof EVA Plastic Lace Elastic Band Flower Printed Hat Environmental Protection Hair Bath Caps Shower Caps Review:

Shower curtains are effective. Keep the hair in and the water out. They come in a variety of sizes, so they can suit both my head and the head of my 4-year-old daughter (if I tie my hair up in a little bun). This is best for individuals with short to medium-length hair because it won't cover your head if you have thick, huge hair.

Ms.Remi Deluxe Extra Jumbo Day and Night Cap Review:

Okay, where do I begin? I'll start by stating that this item is truly EXTRA JUMBO. It was so huge as I pulled it down over my entire head that it wasn't even in contact with my face. I was searching for a soft, loose-fitting large cap made of satin, but this isn't satin. Compared to soft and satiny, it is more rigid and puffy. It fits my head snugly enough to be comfortable and stay in place while I sleep, but not too tightly. I suppose my head size is average. It's breathable, but I wouldn't put this on a tiny child's head unless they had a lot of hair since I can see it slipping forward and hiding their face. If I wash it with fabric softener, will the cloth be able to be slightly loosened up? It appears to have only received minimal starching. The other reviewers' photographs, in my opinion, don't really capture how big this thing is in person. When I first took it out of the packing, I believed they had sent me the wrong item of apparel. I took pictures so I could contrast it with my present satin bonnet. I wanted this since my previous bonnet is too small for when I put my hair on top like a pineapple and doesn't cover my edges at all; however, this one is so stupidly enormous that I feel silly wearing it. However, I will because I ordered it! But I lack the necessary hair for that. This item has to be filled up, LOL! I may end up using it for my daughter's hair or getting one for her because she can most certainly fill it up. I included pictures so you could see the actual size of the object. It is really big, so be careful!

Can you use plastic bags as a shower cap?

You can use plastic bags as a shower cap, but they're not the most effective option. They can slip off your head easily and don't provide a tight seal around your hair, which means water can still get in. If you're looking for a cheap and easy way to keep your hair dry, however, plastic bags can work in a pinch.
