100% Solid Metal Shower Arm Diverter Valve for Hand Held Showerhead and Fixed Spray Head ∣ G 1/2 3-Way Bathroom Universal Shower System Replacement Part (Chrome diverter) Review:

I know how silly it is to equate weight with quality but when I felt the heft of this item, I felt that it was the right choice to purchase this specific one. The diverter this one was replacing was also made of metal (which most are) but the lever was cheap plastic on the inside and the o-ring pushed it off and showered most of the bathroom.

This diverter feels and functions as if it will last a long time, probably outlasting me by far. The lever to select the output has good feedback and travel making it easy to switch and split the difference. The only other thing that I can remark on (because it is just a diverter) is the packaging and included items. It's always a nice surprise when a company includes necessary ingredients to use the product even though it's something you should be expected to have for this venture. The company included teflon tape and surprisingly also a wrench. The standard o-rings are included as well. If you need a diverter for a showerhead or something else, then this one will fit the bill without a large bill.

LDR Industries 520 2419CP High Rise Shower Arm and Flange, Chrome Review:

This is great if your shower pipe connection is low and you are over a foot taller than the connection, It allows me to get totally under the showerhead when I am washing my hair without having to bend way over. The shower connection in the tub this is installed is 4'-6" (54")or so above the bottom of the tub. I am 5'-10" (70"). It replaced a shower arm extension with two joints (sort of like item Amazon B014TVQYAU) I bought from Amazon years ago that I tried to move from a bathroom where we were having a new tub installed to the other bathroom. The move didn't work because one of the joints started to to leak and could not be completely stopped. Then I found this item when I was looking for a replacement for the leaking extension. This product is worth every penny! It is raised the showerhead higher than the old extension did, cannot leak since it has no joints and can support an over the shower pipe shower caddy most excellently. I I found out the the current Plumbing Code requires the connection for the showerhead piping to be 74" (6'-2") above the floor of the bathroom so I don't need any extension in the new tub.

Adjustable Shower Arm Extension by WaterPoint, Brass Shower Head Extension Arm with High Polished Chrome Finish 11+ Inch Review:

I recently bought this shower arm to go with my new shower head 6 Function Adjustable Luxury Shower Head - High Pressure Boosting, Wall Mount, Bathroom Showerhead For Low Flow Showers - Chrome. I LOVE my shower head and I wanted it to be easier to reach for my husband and I.

We are a perfect couple. I am Asian and he is Caucasian. Yeah! I'm 5 feet and he is a 6 footer. What a big difference. But when it comes to taking a shower, we both hated one thing - a shower head stuck on the wall. Because of the difference in our height, we have different issues with it. I have a hard time adjusting it because it is a bit far and I have to stand close to the wall and the drain which makes shower a bit difficult. As for my husband, he hits his head with the shower head. We decided to get a shower extender. I searched online and got this.

First impression was that it is going to last since it had a little weight on it and it looks and feels sturdy/durable. My husband was able to install it easily. There were no leaks. The material used is of good quality. What I love about this is that we are able to adjust the shower head with it based on our height preference. This has made our shower experience really fantastic. I can have a rainfall effect with this extender and we both love it.

This really works for both short and tall people. If you want more height, the vendor advised to add one more arm in the assembly which we are planning to do especially for my husband so he can also enjoy water running down on him like I do. Right now, we are on a vacation and I miss showering at home. Will definitely get one once we're back.

If you're someone who hates showering next to the wall or loves the waterfall effect, then I highly recommend you get this shower arm. You won't regret it.

Adjustable Shower Head Extension Arm - 10 Inch Brass Shower Arm Extender Hardware - Brushed Nickel Review:

I've gone through 3 adjustable shower arms looking for something that doesn't suck ("doesn't suck" meaning I don't need to hook up a bungee cord to the damn thing keep in place), and, as they say, third times the charm - this shower arm is it. Seriously, buy it! I've now bought one for every shower in the house.

It's all-metal (even the internal locking mechanisms - unlike some of the more popular adjustable shower arms on this site), screws in tight, stays where you set it (just mind the 3 lb maximum - which is heavy for a shower head), doesn't noticeably decrease water flow, comes with more than enough quality teflon tape, and the owner of the company even emails you after the purchase; ready and willing to field any of your questions or concerns (and how often can you say that for an amazon purchase?).

I was actually so impressed with this product, likely partially because of my trials and tribulations with the other shower arms I've tried, that I tried out their 6-function shower head and I love it death (I recommend it if you're looking for something that will suit multiple tastes).

To quickly document my shower arm travails;
first I bought a no-name shower arm at Home Depot that restricted my water flow to something like what came out of my kitchen faucet.
Second, I tried the, best-selling on this site, Delta arm that wilted after each shower (if I was lucky enough for it to make it that far).
Finally, after almost giving up hope for any sign of competence in the adjustable shower arm arena, I tried the Aqua Elegante, and I have told my brother to bury me with my hands crossed over this shower arm rather than an Easter Lilly.

Delta Faucet U4993-PK Delta Faucet 6 Inch Shower Arm and Flange, Chrome Review:

I recently purchased an awesome chrome shower head that I love. Massaging Shower Head High Pressure - Multi-Function, Massage Rainfall Showerhead With Boosting Mist For Low Flow Showers & Adjustable Water Saving Nozzle - Chrome Later, I was looking for a shower arm to replace the old one that was getting a rusty look.

I went on Amazon and checked on a few shower arms from different sellers. I was hesitant at first to buy this Delta Faucet shower arm and flange because the price is lower than the other brands. I read the reviews and was convinced enough to give it a shot. I’m very glad I did! This arm was a good fit, and was very easy to install. The color was a match with the trim. It also came with a spool of white plumber tape so no need to buy a big roll.

I would definitely recommend this product to my friends. Low price doesn’t always mean low quality and that’s what this shower arm is all about.

Hotel Spa 11" Solid Brass Adjustable Shower Extension Arm with Lock Joints. Lower or Raise Any Rain or Handheld Showerhead to Your Height & Angle / 2-Foot Range/Universal Connection, Chrome Finish Review:

I’m quite the wordsmith, as you can tell from my headline lol

Bought this and a large square shower head to upgrade our standard... basic shower setup. This extension arm is really solid. My only gripe that I share with others that have also purchased this and mentioned, is that the nut that connects to the shower pipe is fixed, so you have to rotate the entire extension arm to get it tighten.
I’ve let the shower run for about 5 minutes at the temperature I typically use (which apparently is ~103°F) and there were no leaks, no weird noises... nada. It works great.

Now to touch on the title (harharhar), we have just shy of 23” of space (its more like 22 7/8”) straight up from the start of the threads on the shower pipe. I’m thinking about getting a longer extension arm (maybe 16” or 18”) to put the new shower head up much higher and be able to point it straight down. I dunno. But either way, I’m happy. It’s definitely an upgrade and a great accessory for it.

Delta Shower Arm Diverter for Hand Shower, Chrome Review:

Best plumbing fixture I have ever purchased. I used this to add a hand sprayer to our shower that could be switched between the shower head or the wand. We use the wand to wash the baby and the dog and the shower for the adults. This piece is solidly built and the quarter turn action is intuitive and smooth. The knob points the direction of water flow as a visual indicator to which leg is turned on. Water only flows out one leg at a time when the valve is fully switched either direction.

Delta Faucet 10-inch Adjustable Extension Shower Arm for Shower Heads, Chrome UA902-PK Review:

I used this in conjunction with the AKDY AZ-6021 Bathroom Chrome Shower Head, 8". It was my first time installing a shower arm and a shower head and, since the shower arm comes with no instructions, it took me some time.
To make it simpler for you guys, I am writing a step-by-step installation guide and I am including a photo for each step. Let me know if this was helpful :)

1- Insert the screen gasket into the female outlet
2- Insert the large round gasket into the connector
3 - Insert the swivel ball into the connector
4- Insert the thicker gasket into the shower head and screw the connector (attached to the swivel ball) onto the head
5- Screw the arm (female outlet side) onto the existing shower arm, screw the swivel ball piece (with shower head attached) onto the arm (male outlet side). Lastly, position flex the arm the way you want it and fix it using the wing nuts.

Leaks:
Since there are multiple junctions, there might be some leaks. In my case there was a very tiny one. If that bothers you, you can use some teflon tape to "seal" the threads of the pipes. There is some tape inside the package (it's at the bottom, very easy to miss), but it's definitely not enough for multiple junctions. You can buy some on Amazon or at your local hardware store (where it will be much cheaper).

Coeur Designs 16 Inch Extra Long Shower Extension Arm. Solid Brass. Height/Angle Adjustable With a Unique Locking Gear for a Perfect Position Every time. Holds All Showerhead Sizes!! Review:

This is the best extender you can get.

Easy to install, no tools. Everything provided. The best part: the female threads that screw onto the pipe in your wall turn independently. This other one (11" too, which was too short) does not have threads that turn independently. (this one for reference: https://www.amazon.com/Extender-Rainfall-Adjustable-Extension-Straight/dp/B01M1DSC53 )

This thing is awesome. I am buying another one for my other shower.

Hope this helps!
