This is far better than the little, stock EZ-GO handle, which is better than I had anticipated. The FWD/REV switch on our cart is growing stiffer as it ages. My 2005 Honda Accord's shifter button just appeared out of nowhere on the driver's seat. Based on the reviews, I purchased this release button. Based on some of the other reviews I read, I was somewhat concerned. Some reviewers said that this replacement wasn't because it was too tight. It is very simple. On the shifter's dash side, unscrew the two phillips screws. The two side support clips can be slightly loosened to release the side. The lower portion of the shifter column need not be twisted off. To remove all of the remaining pieces, make sure to smash the open side against your hand. The new spring and shift release button should be inserted. Reattach the side cover with a snap, then tighten the two Phillips screws. It took less than five minutes to complete the transaction. Personally, I think that some of the other reviewers who had issues DID NOT remove all of the previous, damaged plastic components before reassembly. Mine runs flawlessly.

I have never performed a repair that was so simple. Search "How To Repair / Replace A Broken Or Stuck Shifter Shift Handle Button Knob On 2003-2006 Honda Accord" on YouTube. I'm not that mechanically minded, but I'm following the step-by-step video by this same vendor APDTY.On the 2004 Accord (and possibly the 2005 and 2006 models as well), a plastic guide holds the metal shifter rod in place, making the repair slightly simpler.It took me about 10 minutes to find out how to even get into park or reverse after my shift knob crumbled (I can't even count the hundreds of bits the "plastic" split into) in a parking lot while I was on my lunch break.I placed an order for this item, watched the instructional video, and two days later, genuine Honda parts arrived. They included the spring, which is not necessary, but if you lost or bent the old spring for any reason, you now have a replacement. I then followed the video's instructions, and after five minutes, my vehicle was as good as new, hopefully better, as the "plastic" Honda used the first time around was complete garbage.Due to the extra spring, this item is slightly more expensive than similar listings, but the 2 day shipping is definitely worth it because I needed 2 hands to "shift"—one to move the shifter and the other to insert my thumb into the slot and depress the shift rod.5* stars... The chrome on my factory cap was coming off. Being a car enthusiast, I immediately grabbed some tape and toilet paper and taped up my finger till I could drive home to get the super glue out and glue it shut. The chrome was so sharp that it sliced my finger deeply enough that I wanted to get stitches. In a moment of wrath, the cap was ripped off and thrown in the trash. I had been getting around without it for a few months. A newer F150 with the leather-wrapped grip was what I intended to replace the shifter on. But I've never had the time to work on my own cars, so I kept putting it off until I was cleaning it last week. It drove me crazy that the cap was gone. I looked up this cap on Amazon. This cap functions even if the tabs on your original one are still caught in the shifter and the clips on it have been broken. I placed my order with low expectations because it was inexpensive, from Amazon, and probably made of Chinese garbage. It came in two days, and yesterday night I turned it on in the dark, and everything was back to normal. My shifter is no longer attempting to cut off my fingers or use superglue to poison me. It is no longer missing and resembles a truck you might find at a buy here pay here lot with a broken down vehicle. I now understand that I could sell this truck for top cash and use the proceeds to purchase a Lambo for myself.

It took 10 minutes to install when I bought it for my mother-in-law. Although it is quite simple, there is a very helpful video on YouTube that demonstrates how to replace this part precisely. One useful tip is that the button will initially feel a little stiff when fitted into the shifter handle. If you don't have any grease on hand, just press the button repeatedly before reinstalling the shifter handle to assist it loosen up. A little grease will also work for this. If required, extend that spring a little bit as well. Five stars, quick, affordable, high-quality replacement part; this is a COMMON FAILURE POINT; it was for me.

I didn't want this guy to split or break after reading the critiques. So I went and found a drill bit that was the same size as the hole. It nearly struck the threads, but missed. Then I got a little bored with the pokeball. You can't overtighten because it will cause the shifter to bottom out and impact the resin pokeball's interior. I widened the hole to prevent hitting anything. To prevent myself from drilling past a particular depth, I taped the drill bit. Additionally, it drills quickly and creates a large mess. But it's worth it... To make sure it tightens and faces the back of the car, I soon utilized a tiny washer I produced. Then, with the matching Pikachu shift boot, bang... I'm incredibly happy with my buy... I receive many of compliments at the raids despite the fact that it took some imagination and effort to create it just right. Lol...

I bought this knob to replace the one that was lost, and after doing so, I received the customary automated email from Amazon requesting me to give my purchase a review. So let's begin.It's not the first time I've ever had to get a new knob for one of the cars I've owned over the years, but it is the first time I've needed to get a new knob for this specific car (a 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara hardtop). I have to admit that it is among the best knobs I have ever bought. It was the ideal shade, it fit well in its intended location, and it works flawlessly. My son may now use his air conditioner once more. I adore my kid, and it broke my heart to see him spend some time driving in the sweltering Savannah weather without air conditioning. I feel a lot more at ease knowing that he can travel comfortably, and this fantastic knob is to thank for that. Upon closer examination, I was able to confirm that the item had every component shown in the image. You'll have to figure out how to install it yourself because there are no installation instructions: 1. Take away your current shift lever (do an online search on how to do this for your vehicle). 2. Remove the spring and metal height adjuster by unscrewing the top of the new shift knob. 3. Choose the plastic adapter that best fits your gear shaft from the three that are provided. 4. Insert the gear shift shaft through the disassembled metal shift knob handle so that it is at the bottom of the shaft. 5. Position the plastic adapter atop the shaft of the gear shift. 6. Take the metal height adjustment and set it to the desired height over the plastic adapter. 7. To secure the height adjuster, tighten down the three provided screws. 8. To hide the height adjuster, lift the gear shift handle. 9. Put the spring into the gear shift handle, then tighten the handle's top again.The aluminum has the feel of a high-quality aftermarket item. The lettering "MOMO Italy" is inscribed on the top of the knob I received, as had been mentioned by others. It will require some getting used to while shifting gears because it is a little bit smaller than my factory Dodge Nitro knob. With the exception of the packing, I'm satisfied with the goods so far.

Paid thousands of dollars for a top-of-the-line Wolf range, but after three years of regular use, the two knobs that regulate the ventilation fan and above range lighting failed. My mouth literally dropped to the floor when I saw the asking price of $56.00 for the part, which must have only cost a nickel to produce. I'm delighted I came into these common knobs.
