Key Lock Box, Fayleeko Combination Lockbox 4 Digit Key Storage Lock Box Wall Mounted Portable Weatherproof Resettable Code House Key Safe Security Lock Box for Outside Realtors Garage Spare Keys Review:

I occasionally can't make it to every viewing because I'm a realtor in Chicago with a lot of rental listings. The cost of good lockboxes is high. I needed lockboxes to install on the property so that the units may be shown before I leave town in a week. I decided to place an order after seeing this for sale at a wonderful price. Lockbox was delivered quickly and precisely as stated. I use a lot of lockboxes, and this one was simple to program the new code, had plenty of room for keys, and was a high-quality product. These are an excellent price, therefore I'll probably be placing further orders. Highly advised.

Honeywell Safes & Door Locks - 6104 Fire Resistant Steel Security Safe Box with Key Lock, 0.17-Cubic Feet, Black Review:

To start, this box and others like it are not safes. To pry them all open would take 20 seconds. Videos on YouTube demonstrate how simple it is to purchase a skill saw and open even the larger fireproof safes you see because they are primarily made of foam. This is a box that should either be kept secret or under close observation. It's constructed extremely nicely with thick metal sheets (seems to be double insulated), but because it's not bulky like those foam boxes, the contents would probably burn down quickly if there was a genuine fire. It buys you some time because it's still superior to a simple box. Ceramic sheets are available for purchase and can be used to increase the storage's level of fire resistance.I like it because it's really small and can be hidden just about anyplace. I'm not going to tell you where my favorite spots are, so use your own imagination.

Master Lock 5400D Set Your Own Combination Portable Lock Box, 5 Key Capacity, Black Review:

Functions good and appears tough. When necessary, I use it to store an extra set of house keys outside. It fits snugly onto the handle of my sliding glass door.Revision 4/2017: For five months, this was hung on my back door. It was never touched by anyone. Everything can be broken into if someone wants to, just as with any lock, including the one on your front door. So how secure is this, really, and how secure is your door? How probable is it that someone will try to open it in your area? All of those aspects determine whether or not this lock is considered "safe." I'm currently utilizing it at my dad's house so that if anything happens, a caretaker may phone me and get the code to enter. This has prevented me from turning back and opening a door for someone on my way to work twice this week. After I give out the code, it is changed, and occasionally, if I so desire, I may just remove the lock. This is superior to the options. Whether or not you have a key box out, if someone wants into your house, they will still be able to do so.

Kingsley Guard-a-Key Black Realtor's Lockbox Review:

The nicest lockbox of this kind I have probably ever seen.Smooth, tidy, and tastefully finished surfaces won't appear shoddy on your door. To avoid scratching the door knob, the hasp has a vinyl coating.robust in stature.Easy to use.It doesn't actually obstruct the knob from opening because it has a very low profile and is only 3/4 inch thick. With the exception of the area taken up by the locking wheels, the entire box has a large storage capacity.Exceptionally wonderful unit.A word of caution: Make sure the locking wheels are facing AWAY FROM THE DOOR FRAME and will be visible when you glance at them when you hang the box on the door knob and before you lock the hasp shut. It will be more difficult to read the numerals if the wheels are towards the door frame. You must rotate the box to reveal the numbers on the combination wheel before you may open it. To make the combination wheels easier to view and face up, you will turn the box sideways up the door. You probably won't be able to spin the box other than away from the door frame because of it. Make sure the combination wheels are pointing away from the frame and upward so they can be seen when you spin the box before hanging it. When the box is rotated, the wheels will be facing downward if it is hung with the wheels facing the door frame. To see the combination wheels, you will need to bend down and look up.Even though it's a little detail, it's worth checking again before attaching the box. With lever-style door handles, this won't function. This is a treasured box!Steve

Key Lock Box with 4-Digit Combination, Lock Box for House Key, Wall Mounted Weatherproof Resettable Combination Padlock, Ideal for Homes Hotels Schools and Businesses (with Waterproof Cover) Review:

I bought this so I wouldn't have to tote items along or carry keys when we go to the beach, hike, or someplace else outdoors.I've seen that many cars in Hawaii use similar locks, so we decided to give it a shot! I was first afraid to purchase a generic brand, however it was less expensive! My worries were allayed after experiencing it firsthand... It undoubtedly feels and looks just as sturdy and long-lasting as the more expensive options. If you don't know how to remove the front cover, the quality is heavy, thick, and difficult to open. This was fastened underneath the back of my pickup. (The under-the-bed bracket feature on my Honda Ridgeline vehicle was designed for hanging these kinds of locks.) I'm not concerned because things went on smoothly and I don't think anyone will waste time trying to enter a crowded beach area. The dial pad can be accessed by opening the tough outer cover, which fits my truck key and remote perfectly. It says it's weather resistant, but we haven't had much inclement weather, and Hawaii doesn't get much snow, so I can't speak to how the elements will effect it. Moreover, it's secured under my truck and won't be getting wet very often. However, since Hawaii has salty air and salt rusts things, only time will tell how long this will last. If anything changes, I'll update. This has been useful and practical! We no longer need to take keys around with us and run the chance of them being stolen or lost in the beach while we're swimming; instead, we can leave everything locked up in the vehicle and enjoy our day without worrying about anything getting stolen. (Theft rates are high in Hawaii.)If I ever needed another, I would get this again. The cost was excellent given the usefulness and quality.

Kidde AccessPoint 001015 KeySafe Original Push Button Combination Permanent Key Lock Box, 5-Key, Titanium Gray Review:

Here's why I awarded it four instead of five stars. Firstly, this key box does a good job of its duty. It will keep your keys, and opening it does involve pressing a string of digits. It has a sturdy construction that seems like it will last for a very long time and would also withstand significant amounts of smashing or sawing. To unlock this object, I believe it would require a great deal of effort. Now, the reason I didn't give it five stars is that there aren't many different combo options available. Your code can be customized to contain any number of characters. Therefore, I could program it to open when I press "7" or when I've pushed 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, and 0. Alternately, you might configure it so that you must press all ten numbers in order for it to open (not really a good idea). That sounds like it adds up to a ton of various combinations, you're presumably thinking by this point. It doesn't, though, for two reasons. No matter what order the numbers are pushed in, you cannot repeat a number. If my code is 8497, the lock will unlock if I press 4987, 9784, 8974, etc. There are 1023 potential possibilities, so I'll save you the arithmetic (I won't bother explaining why in this review). Anyone who asserts otherwise is mistaken; the product description even states "above 1000," which suggests it is only little more than 1000. In any case, setting the combination is straightforward. Each number has a screw on the back of the plate. A 180-degree screw turn makes that number a part of the code. Therefore, I would just turn all the screws behind those digits if I wanted my code to contain the numbers 1257 (remember, you can't repeat and the sequence doesn't matter). If you want something that is simpler to remember, you can go shorter; however, a length of 5 numerals would have the maximum conceivable permutations. If you add up the list I created, it comes to 1023 items (see below). I did not count the code having zero numbers in it. When you realize how few combinations there are for particular durations, don't be alarmed. Remember that a potential thief has 1023 different combinations to choose from because they have no idea how lengthy the code is. Nobody is going to take the time to consider every option while they are sitting there. Also bear in mind that if someone truly desires to break into your home and has made preparations in advance to do so, this won't deter them. This key box is there to prevent some loser from attempting to locate the key that everyone hangs from the deck or conceals beneath a rock. This key can now be placed in a lock box.It performs what it claims it will do, and the build quality earns it four stars.Length Total Number of Combinations1 10s 2 45s 3 120s 4 210s 5 252s 6 210s 7 120s 8 45s 9 10s 10 1

Stalwart 75-005 Metal Storage Lock Box, 12" Review:

I'll start off by saying that the box is not at all burglar proof. One can easily insert a thin metal screwdriver there and pry it out far enough to bend the lid. This is the major access point. You would have to work quite hard to open it because the metal is so resistant. There are no sharp edges on the inner lid edges on either side or the inside top of the box, and the metal has been curved in on itself to maintain the shape. The one aspect of the box that I did not like was the inside rivets, which protrude by roughly 1/8".The shank hole was rather deceptive; despite what I had read, normal locker locks did not operate, and it still seemed big in the photographs. I had a little keyed baggage lock that works great. The box and top both fit snugly, not at all loosely, and the dimensions are accurate. I bought this box mostly for field collections and wanted it to be made of metal to prevent breaking any fragile items in my luggage. Even though I didn't think it was as lightweight as some reviewers said, I think it would be OK for a quick journey when tied to a pack, but it would gradually make you feel heavier. The box is absolutely recommended for uses other than keeping really valuable items safe. It will certainly be effective to keep nannies, housekeepers, and other visitors out of sight. However, I don't advise it for anyone who fears that someone would take it because ultimately they'd be able to unlock it.

Master Lock 5900D Set Your Own Combination Portable Safe, 9-17/32 in. Wide, Gunmetal Grey Review:

First off, this safe is not the one for you if you're searching for an unbreakable safe to store bulky items. As long as you use this safe for what it was designed for, it performs admirably. to maintain some degree of security for your little possessions while in a generally secure setting. As an illustration, use it while traveling to stop room service from unintentionally "cleaning" your wallet or phone. Or, if there are any little children nearby and you want to keep them away from your phone, medicine, etc. Now, you might be let down if your aim is to fasten this portable safe to a lamp pole and keep your Rolex and Bentley keys inside while you take a lengthy stroll across Central Park. Heavy-duty safe that would need some work to pry open. However, because the safe's body is made of plastic, it might be opened with a hammer or pry bar.The product is not an impenetrable safe; rather, it is intended to serve as a safeguard and deterrent. You won't be let down if you bear this in mind. I'm happy I bought this safe since it makes me feel better (no pun intended, well maybe) about leaving things in my hotel room when I go to the gym or for breakfast. Please help me out and click the "Yes" button below if this review was even the slightest bit helpful. I'm grateful.
