Are synthetic brushes good for acrylic?

Some artists prefer to use synthetic brushes when painting with acrylics, while others prefer natural bristles. There are pros and cons to both types of brushes. Synthetic brushes are often less expensive than natural bristle brushes, and they can be easier to care for and maintain. Synthetic brushes can also be less absorbent than natural bristle brushes, which can be an advantage when working with a fast-drying medium like acrylic. However, some artists find that synthetic brushes don’t provide the same level of control and precision as natural bristle brushes. Ultimately, it’

A paintbrush can be used for calligraphy, but it is not the ideal tool. Paintbrushes are designed for painting, not for writing, and as such, they are not as precise as a pen or pencil. The bristles of a paintbrush can also split and fray, which can make your calligraphy look messy. If you do use a paintbrush for calligraphy, be sure to choose one with soft, synthetic bristles.

Princeton Artist Brush, Mini-Detailer Brushes for Watercolor, Acrylic and Gouache Series 3050, Dagger Striper Synthetic Sable, Size 1/8 Review:

This has become my go-to paint-by-numbers brush set. It arrived safely in a box with other products in a plastic bag. The handle or the bristles showed no indications of damage. I've been using it for about a week, and I'm extremely happy with it so far. In fact, I bought additional sizes from this supplier.

Detail Paint Brushes Variety Set of 11 - Artist Quality for Miniatures - Liners | Rounds | Flats for All Your Delicate Painting w/Watercolors, Acrylics or Oils - Comfortable Ergonomic Handle w/Case Review:

For my mother-in-law, I purchased it. She is incredible! She's taking an art class and painting so well. She has practically everything, but I'm always shopping for unusual presents. For her, this was the ideal present. She claimed that it has excellent quality and is quite comfortable to use. I imagine a lot of the students in her class also inquire about it:)

Silver Brush 3007S-8 Black Velvet Short Handle Blend Squirrel and Risslon Brush, Script Liner, Size 8 Review:

I've never used a Silver brush before, but I do now. I chose to attempt the Black Velvet series in size 6, which is typically one of my preferred sizes for watercolors, because I had heard excellent things about it. When I opened the package and noticed the size of this brush, I was quite impressed! I have never seen a size 6 that was that much smaller. I've included pictures of a Raphael 8404 and the Silver Black Velvet in size 6, respectively. The Silver is comparable to a size 4 in other brands, and possibly even a little bit slimmer. Fair enough, a size 4 in the Raphael costs roughly half as much, but the Raphael is a Kolinsky sable.Well, after getting over the size shock, I gave it a shot. It has a good snap and a very sharp point; it is neither as soft nor as stiff as sable. approximately correct for painting details. But because it was so small, there wasn't much I could do with it to make me sure I loved it. The majority of my paintings are portraits and florals, so this will be really helpful for details, but it's much too small if I wanted a brush to cover vast regions, like leaves or blossoms. If it came in a size 10 or 12, I would love to try it.

Transon Artist Detail Paint Brushes with Case 12pces for Miniatures, Models, Acrylics, Oil, Tempera, Enamel, and Body Painting Review:

I'm not gentle with my paintbrushes. I paint animals in oil and specialise in pet portraits. Orders for painted pet nameplates or horse stall signs come in fairly regularly. People seem to really enjoy them, however I need little detail brushes that are affordable, durable, and can withstand some damage. These perfectly meet that need. I'll buy once more.

Micro Detail Paint Brush Set - Triangular Wooden Handle, 5 Size Miniature Paint Brush for Artists, Modellers, Enamel, Warhammer 40k Review:

I bought these to replace my old Army Painter set, and so far, I'm pleased with the quality. They worked perfectly as I painted a set of target markers with them. I don't have a lot of skill, but these aren't expensive, so I don't know what the drawbacks are. One brush was badly wrapped, and the brush tube permanently bent several of the bristles, but the firm quickly replaced it, so I felt taken care of.

Loew-Cornell 1024910 Studio Elements Short Handle Golden Taklon Script Liner Brush Set, 4-Piece Review:

The bristles were bent because the packaging was bent. I've been washing while making sluggish progress in trying to straighten the bristles. Fixing the smaller brushes was simpler than the bigger one (still working on that one). This issue may have been solved with a thicker backing board to prevent bending or with more cautious shipment packaging. The calligraphy brushes are good overall, but I docked a point because of the extra effort required to correct them.
