Although it's not my absolute favorite Klein tool, there aren't many issues. I will say that it is absolutely ideal for thermostats if you work in the HVAC industry. That Klein 4-in-1 screwdriver complements all of my other Klein screwdrivers and won't take up much space in my tool bag made me happy to see it. The downside is that the tips that pull out are not particularly secure within the shaft, but aside from that, I would consider this a fantastic quality tool even if I appreciate the convenience of having 4 sizes in one driver.

My carburetor tools, which are rather powerful, arrived today. I used a broken weed eater's old carburetor that I had and the proper equipment to fit the carburetor adjustment screws. This is a top-notch item. Though it has its ups and downs. It has a clip for your pocket, but when you try to tighten screws, the slide sleeve for the screwdriver rotates. You can't actually apply a lot of torque without putting your hand in an unnatural position to the object you are tightening down. It is simpler if your hands are smaller. However, it is really well constructed and offers a lot of advantages. I understand why the yellow sleeve was designed to slide down when not in use, but I personally do not like it. To ensure that it doesn't move and that I can still put it in my pocket, I just apply Gorilla Glue Super Glue to my sleeve. In my opinion, Klein Tools should replace the sliding sleeve with a detachable top.

It's a must-have for the $7 or so it costs. There are many reviews, so I'll just state the following about the few that rant and rave about the demagnetizer: the demagnetizer won't get rid of powerful permanent magnetic fields, unlike what most reviews claim. Therefore, any great tools equipped with a potent permanent magnet won't be impacted. This gadget utilizes paramagnetism. Additionally, it is not a big device. Therefore, it works better on small instruments, and those things typically have to be either not magnetic by design or only very weakly magnetic (like a pretty lousy magnet). This device will function if the tool meets those requirements and is compact enough. When a powerful magnetic field is produced by a group of magnets, it induces a magnetic field surrounding "non-natural" materials, causing them to briefly become magnetic. Again, there is no magic involved; this is just science. If you leave it alone, depending on how weak the tool is, it will demagnetize on its own.Regarding the demagnetizer, I have a suspicion that many individuals are attempting to use it to demagnetize every instrument they own, even those with strong, long-lasting ferromagnetic qualities. If so, you won't be able to accomplish anything with this item because it is not designed to interfere with or "compete" with a permanent magnet.By design, demagnetization is more difficult than magnetization; removing a magnetic field is typically more difficult, especially if you do it immediately after creating one with a device this small. It only works, though, if the tool was entirely "non-magnetic" before being magnetized. But who can object to $7? This gadget is quite useful, and it works best with little tools. It works particularly well on ESD-safe instruments (smaller ones), which are specifically made to be as magnetic-free as possible with the materials (and without external forces like this magnetizer!). For ESD-safe devices, I have consistently had success demagnetizing and magnetizing as necessary.
