I bought this to divide the signal for streaming video games. One to my monitor, the other to the capture card in my PC. Plug and play is easy. There is no electrical adapter required because it can be powered by a USB cable, but if needed, the TV's USB connection can also be used. In my situation, the 32" Sanyo is 720p, thus it sent 720p to the 50" 4k ONN TV as well. Output resolution appears to default to whatever screen is the smallest.Construction quality is excellent. Even though it is extremely lightweight, the metal body makes it very durable, especially when I'm slamming it against furniture as I try to run its wires through the back of my entertainment center.Additionally, it is powered through a USB-A to 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel jack connection. This is a common connector type, therefore take care not to unintentionally put the power supply of another device into it and explode the internals. So, like many others these days, I'm ditching cable and satellite in favor of streaming services and OTA antenna. To my astonishment, I found a gorgeous, sizable antenna that the previous owners had put in the attic. I learned that I could use the existing satellite cable for the OTA signal. I disconnected all of the satellite cables from the dish and connected my RG6 antenna to the green 4-way splitter. In fact, the signal reached the TVs. Unfortunately, because the runs are so lengthy, I was experiencing significant pixelation. When an amplifier was used, the situation worsened. To cut a long tale short, I discovered that the splitter was the source of my issues after many trial and error. I bought this one with the Ge brand and connected everything. Now it's perfect. Even though I'm 25 miles from towers, the attic antenna is displaying full signal strength on practically all of the channels that are available. Compared to other splitters, it has a relatively low loss rate. There is no need for an amplifier or to relocate the antenna, which is really installed flawlessly and completely backwards in the attic. Still, it functions. I adore this tiny splitter from Ge.

It Functions, It Functions, Finally, I place an order for a device that fulfills all of its stated functions. YES, it does remove HDCP, and I can attest to that if I need to record a video of it. I recently upgraded my cable box, but when I connected it to my older digital light projection (DLP) TV, all I received was a blue screen. On a newer TV that I tried, the cable box functions just fine. After about an hour of thorough testing and troubleshooting—during which I even invited the cable guy over—we determined that the issue lay with my older TV since it refused to receive the more recent HDCP signal. Not only did it remove the HDCP signal, but it also saved me from having to spend hundreds of dollars on a newer 55" TV. Inquisitively, I tried my brand-new Roku stick, which similarly gave me the message "Unable to play this content." I put the Roku stick into the device, and, voila! It also functioned flawlessly. It comes in a cool-looking metal case that feels high-quality, and that is something else I enjoy. I heartily endorse this item. P.S. Be mindful of the inputs and outputs because I initially connected it as a splitter to add an additional HDMI input. This two-way splitter does the task for which it was designed. It arrived on schedule, in good packaging, and seems to be of high quality. When I wanted to connect two antennas to my TV system, I utilized it backwards as a combiner. It worked flawlessly when I used it to connect two beam-type antennas to the same cable so that I could receive channels coming from the South and West, respectively. This is not a magic device, though, and it probably won't work for you if you don't know how to set up dual antennas correctly or you live in an area where high signal reflection will cause multiple antennas to compete for bandwidth. Nevertheless, given the price, it was worth a shot and worked well for me. Any splitter will suffer from some degree of signal loss, so you must keep that in mind when using it. In order to compensate for any signal loss, both of my antennas are amplified, and the amplifiers are placed before the splitter. If they hadn't been, I would have placed the splitter (combiner) as near to the antennas as I could (which I did anyway) and added an amplifier immediately after the splitter to raise the signal intensity before a lengthy wire link (mine is 40 feet). All of the TVs are receiving all of the channels equally well or even better than they were before the combiner and second antenna were installed. How well everything performs on the following day of poor weather will reveal the truth.

When we need to watch two different programs at once, I still utilize the system where my Dish receiver often delivers SD signals to our other TV in the bedroom. On both the projector and the TV, it maintains a clean image at 1080p. The only issue is that my projector, which only supports 1080p and is not 4K, will prevent me from using a 4K signal from my cable provider (Verizon), limiting it to 1080p on both devices. thus, no 4K.
