To my pool swim center family, the Intex "INFLATABLE" has a water capacity of approximately 269 gal, or 1,020 L. My pool is a Coleman 18x48 with two inlets. The old cartridge filter pump that arrived with it's hoses were simply connected to the new sand filter. It started clearing debris from the pool floor in within 15 minutes! For me, the setup was terrible because I had to replace pumps after filling the pool with water. It will undoubtedly be considerably simpler next year. To fill it to the top of the enormous tank, you will need three bags of the 50# sand because it is the larger one. To connect this to my pool, no further items were required to be bought. When we've had it running longer throughout the summer, I'll update this evaluation.Revision: 8/16/19. I'm really happy with this pump. Our pool is usually always in use. Every 12 hours, the pump cycled (12 hours on, 12 hours off). Once a week, I vacuumed, backwashed, and cleaned the filter in our pool. My pool was exceptionally clean for the first time this year. The included cartridge filter can't hold a candle to the sand filter pump. I only shocked once a week after vacuuming and only used chlorine in the float. Unlike when I used the cartridge filter pump, I never needed to buy more chemicals. The only thing I would change is to install a water shutoff valve between the two hoses that feed water into the pump from the pool. Having one would make cleaning out the trap on the pump's side simpler. Apart than that, we couldn't be happier and more satisfied with our purchase!

This pool, sand filter, and saltwater system come highly recommended!2016The first three days after setting up our pool last year, the water was clear, but after that, it was HORRIBLE. Everything (chemical-related) that we did was ineffective; there was no clarity, the water was green, and the season itself was dubious. The pool's accompanying cartridge filter was terrible. Updated after 3 years: I still adore this filter. My best pool improvement to yet. Review from the beginning is below.I switched from a 100 square foot cartridge filter that required to be sprayed out every weekend for about 30 minutes to this one. Superior water flow and a backwash interval of more than two months characterize this filter. Even better, backwashing only takes a few minutes, and I don't end up dirty or drenched in water.Before deciding to use sand as a filter, I conducted extensive study on alternative options. Sand is apparently the worst when it comes to how many microns particles might be for various types of filters to remove them. You won't ever have that dazzling clean blue water with sand since it allows bigger particles to recirculate through the pool, claimed many DE and cartridge enthusiasts. I feel quite confident in stating that my pool is still as brilliant blue as it has ever been after over a year of use. My water is so pure that I can still tell you if a quarter is heads up or down in the deep end with less than a tenth of the upkeep that it once required.I frequently visit Disney World and spoke with one of their pool maintenance specialists. I also had the opportunity to tour one of their pump rooms for a very large pool that held at least 1/4 million gallons, which was one of the deciding factors in my decision. Take this for what it's worth to you. Sand filters were being utilized. He explained that it's because upkeep is simple. If it works for the mouse, it will work for me as well.

Update: For $280, we bought a Coleman 16-foot pool in July 2016. This is our third year using it as of July of 2017. Adapt this system from our teeny, tiny pool to that. uses 126 pounds of salt and around 5200 gallons of water (morton natural salt). Clear as glass, the water. Considering that none of us had itchy skin even after swimming for hours, I don't even pay attention to the pH of the water. Every day, I check the chlorine level to make sure it is accurate and the titanium plates are functioning properly. If your dishes begin to accumulate "white stuff," make sure to clean them with vinegar. We place dishes in gallon-sized ziploc bags, add vinegar, and let them soak until the white substance dissolves. This pump and cleaning arrangement are fantastic. In order to give the pool some really cool colors at night, we also installed the submersible LED hockey puck lights (which you can also get here on Amazon). Take in the images!I just recently acquired it. The DVD that I watched essentially answered all of my questions. However, I did see that the one I received had two titanium plates " (used to convert salt to "chlorine)... bought to replace an OEM Intex 1000 GPH pump that broke down after three years of service. Usually, more pumping power is better. I chose to utilize this A/C filter since I had a lot of them rather than the more well-liked and potent 2500 GPH variant, which uses the B filter. Choose the 2500 if you don't have a lot of filters. It doesn't cost significantly extra. I didn't really know if I required adapters or not. Nobody appears to have a picture of this object's reverse side. I came across one that sort of demonstrated it, and it appeared to me that the larger connection had a tiny one inside of it (see my image). The smaller section is just a little bit too big for the smaller hoses I had, so I avoided the adapters. So I bought the pair of type B hose adapters, 1.25 to 1.5 inches, online. Larger hoses are included with the new pump.The plunger valve that everyone is raving about is optional, but in my opinion, it's worthwhile. Although some people attach it to the pump, I submitted a snapshot on a product review over there so you can see how it connects to your pool. It allows you to change filters with less water loss and, if necessary, change hoses because you can crank a handle to switch off the water at the intake and output. Additionally, the 90-degree connection it makes seems to ease pressure on the soft pool side. The connection flexes less noticeably.There is no light eye used by the timer. I think it simply turns on every day at the same time for the duration that you specify. Although the pump and housing appear to be more durable, they still produce the same noise when operating and sound like they're about to break down. If it lasts another three years at this price, I can tolerate it. The quantity of water flowing from the outlet has certainly changed. I'm satisfied with this pump overall.

A directional indicator is stamped into the plastic, which has a nice pattern. That's a good thing because I would have thought the gas was flowing in the opposite direction. With a new fuel filter, my tractor genuinely looks better and I feel better. On my John Deere STX-38, I made the decision to replace part of the outdated fuel lines at the same time. Keep using your squeeze-type hose clamps because you can no longer purchase them; instead, they want to sell you unsightly and unwieldy screw-down kinds.

I use this for my in-ground pool even though it's advertised as for above ground pools. There is a lot of water that collects on top of my cover throughout the fall, winter, and spring. Over the years, this has put a lot of wear and use on the area. Most pumps left a good two inches of the pool cover exposed since they were too big, heavy, and cumbersome to actually place on top of the cover. This created issues when we needed to remove the cover. It is PERFECT to remove water from on top of the pool cover with this Blue Wave Dredger JR. Due to its size, it completely drains the water, leaving nothing behind (not even an inch!). I did use this periodically during the off-pool season while leaving it on my cover from September to May. It continued to function despite repeated freezing and thawing. Although I will be closing this year, I won't need to purchase a new one. I'm not sure how I survived for so long without one. Definitely suggest this as a fantastic method for removing water from pool cover tops. also a great value!
