Update: A portion of the lid's edge was broken off by the salt shaker. No one can recall it ever falling off the table, although it undoubtedly did. Though I'm disappointed that they aren't in great shape so soon after purchase, I still truly like the shakers.I was trying to find a new pepper shaker to replace the broken one. I overanalyzed every purchase because I like to do that. I made sure it would fit the carrier I already own and adore by looking at the price and reviews. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! They are simple to fill, feel excellent in my hand, and appear much more durable than my glass shakers did. I also appreciate how many holes are in the top. These, in my opinion, are just ideal. I'll get another identical pair if these ever break.

This item replaced a tall salt shaker made of acrylic that required filling from the bottom while keeping your finger away from the holes, was challenging to clean, and eventually began to look cloudy. These three issues are solved by this shaker. We bought the Oxo Good Grips Pepper Mill, however it doesn't look like they have a salt shaker to go with it. It has no frills, is simple to clean, flows smoothly, is made of glass and metal, and fills from the top, which is just what we were looking for in a basic shaker. This receives a 5-star rating for being about $4, however if you don't like the basic diner style, you might not agree.

I always hear "what is this" while people are grabbing quick bites. And eager to flip your hair... You need some spice, they're making bacon, honey." Hilarious! And they're so adorable! However, the top holes were enormous! Even when you shake a little, there is still way too much salt. I cleaned them out and used my glue gun to plug the holes. Was going to file the glue down, but then I realised that the divert allows slope passage through a very small hole, so it disperses adequately for us. I'll repurchase to give to a friend

I adore them! lower grade stainless steel is used (magnet will not stick to them). In the bigger space, polished rings contrast with brushed nickel. What I was seeking for, holes that are the ideal size for coarsely ground pepper and sea salt, was found! While salt and pepper are released with a shake rather than pouring out, shakers with fewer or smaller holes don't give you the same workout. After receiving them in the mail, the insides did seem a little tarnished, but they were still simple to clean. but the exterior was stunning. One has a P, the other a S. Since they are not see-through, they are nonetheless simple to recognize. I'm glad I bought them. The only reason I gave them only 4 stars is because I preferred them to be higher grade stainless.

ideal for cooking and baking! We cook virtually every day, thus we seldom ever require a typical salt shaker because seasoning is taken care of throughout the dish preparation. When we occasionally needed a salt shaker, I was seeking for one with a spout that could also be used as a shaker, and the OXO was pretty much the only choice. We used to use the built-in shaker/pour feature on the Kosher salt bottle we purchase from the supermarket, but because we now use sea salt and have a few other salt varieties on hand, a permanent container was required. Although I would like a glass rather than a plastic bottle, thus far there hasn't been a problem. Additionally, I initially felt that it would be preferable if it were larger, but I've now changed my mind because it's wonderful to change the salt more regularly now that the sea salt has a tendency to clump. Overall, I've been thrilled with this shaker and adore it!

This salt and pepper cabinet is fantastic! It arrived in excellent shape and was extremely carefully wrapped. There have been concerns that the salt clumps because the seal is not airtight, but I did not experience this. All I did was sprinkle a few tiny soup crackers with my salt and pepper, and they managed to keep everything nicely dry. It is a great feature to having the lids take off easily when cooking. My kitchen has benefited greatly from the cellars, both aesthetically and practically.

Very useful... I prefer to use Himalayan pink salt because, according to a recent German study, it not only does NOT have the same harmful consequences as conventional table salt—and even sea salt—but also has positive health advantages because of the high mineral content. In addition, I believe it has a somewhat better flavor than table salt or sea salt and has less sodium due to the high mineral content. Unfortunately, most restaurants do not offer Himalayan Pink on the menu when I go out to dine, so I decided to bring some with me wherever I went. This container is around the size of a thumb, or the size of a travel-sized ibuprofen pill jar. easily fits in a bag or fanny pack. The one thing that gives me concern about it is that it is made very cheaply, but nowhere does it specify whether it is BPA-free.
