I've owned a lot of salt and pepper shaker sets over the years, and these are by far the most functional. It's quite simple to turn the top to select the hole size or to keep it completely closed, and turning the top has no effect on the secure jar screw top that keeps the contents in. I really enjoy the clever design that offers three options for distributing the contents. The center "jacket," which is just decorative, has a lovely, sleek design. In order to know what is in the shaker and when to replenish, I particularly enjoy that you can see the actual contents on the bottom clear glass jar or bottle portion. Although I might return for the red set to use for cayenne and red chili flakes after buying the black and white set for salt and pepper. My kitchen has gotten a great addition.

I wouldn't use anything else, even though this is my fourth set in the last few decades (but my first with this beehive shape). The plastic hinged lid with the insert within the rim keeps the moisture out and effectively makes the shakers spill-proof. The glass is incredibly strong and simple to clean. The cap normally begins to wear and break after many, many years of usage, but considering all the advantages, I believe their cost was more than justified. To give you a little advice, I periodically totally empty and wash the shakers. I open the top, which has a very sturdy hinge, and lay a toothpick across the interior to serve as a wedge for a few hours. This not only preserves the spring hinge but also enables the interior to totally dry out so that there is no lingering moisture until I refill them. I really hope they are always being produced.

adore this I'm glad I chose this one over the other, more basic options. The cups stack fairly nicely; they don't easily slip off of one another. Still, handling it requires caution. With one hand holding two cups by the bottom and completely forgetting that another cup was stacked on top of it, I tilted the stack, which naturally caused the top cup to fall into my kitchen sink. Fortunately, it didn't shatter or get scratched, which is a positive.I use it as a fun way to reheat the food for my cats by placing the food in the center cup and adding hot water to the cup beneath it.

critique of the editing, and for good cause!We enjoyed the set, however since products don't always endure, I kind of brushed this off when it broke. We enjoyed the stand that clicks the salt and pepper grinders into place so you can take it to and from the table. They were fashionable, carried a lot of salt, and looked great. I noted in a review that the salt grinder had lost a piece and was no longer functional. To my GREAT surprise, the little family-run business's proprietors got in touch with me and offered to replace, refund, etc. because it was obviously flawed. They were so generous and kind to me that I didn't even accept anything they offered to do. We are delighted with the rapid replacement of the set! I purchased this set of shakers to replace my salt and pepper shakers that I always put on my cooktop (yet again). Every other set I've bought contains some type of plastic, and if you leave them anywhere near your stovetop they will ultimately break, wear out, or melt from the heat that cooking inevitably produces.Wow. These are just what I wanted, especially since Kosher salt can be used with the shaker top.Screw tops have a broad handle that is easy to grab even while wearing an oven mitt, they fit snugly, and they are large enough to not need to be filled frequently.Now, some individuals have complained that after they're full, it's impossible to distinguish between the salt and the pepper. Oh, dear. I've got a nose! I placed them up to my nose, and I could identify which one was pepper just by taking a whiff! A true chef doesn't merely grab and dump their ingredients; they take the time to evaluate them. They do, at least, in my kitchen.These shakers arrived well-wrapped and sealed (unbelievably secure). They will likely last a very long time, so I'm confident I won't need to replace them very soon. Stainless steel salt and pepper shakers are very popular with me. You cannot tell when they need to be filled, which is a major drawback. The holes are typically smaller than I prefer, which is another problem. Both of those problems were resolved by the Shakers. Because of the larger holes and glass bottoms, you can see when the containers' contents are running low. This is just enough. This is particularly useful for pepper, which can be difficult to shake out. These Shakers are great, and I heartily suggest them.

So far, I'm happy with these. My hands might be oily, I might be wearing lotion, or something else might make them slip out of my hands, but so far, so good.They look terrific. I believe they release a decent quantity of salt and pepper at once—not excessively, but perhaps a little more than someone attempting to limit their salt intake would prefer.Other than the initial rinse I gave them after unpacking, I haven't cleaned them out yet because I haven't had them for very long.

Very useful... I prefer to use Himalayan pink salt because, according to a recent German study, it not only does NOT have the same harmful consequences as conventional table salt—and even sea salt—but also has positive health advantages because of the high mineral content. In addition, I believe it has a somewhat better flavor than table salt or sea salt and has less sodium due to the high mineral content. Unfortunately, most restaurants do not offer Himalayan Pink on the menu when I go out to dine, so I decided to bring some with me wherever I went. This container is around the size of a thumb, or the size of a travel-sized ibuprofen pill jar. easily fits in a bag or fanny pack. The one thing that gives me concern about it is that it is made very cheaply, but nowhere does it specify whether it is BPA-free.

I could have gone to the shop and bought these, but getting them from Amazon in a split second while at work is amazing. This is why I love Amazon so much. How advanced our age is! I used to have these awful salt and pepper shakers, and my pepper shaker was really bad since it was difficult to get anything to come out of it. I'm not sure why I struggled for more than three years with the ones I had; it's simply something you keep complaining about but don't do anything about because it's such a tiny nuisance. But the sum of these little things matters. From the smallest to the largest aspects of your life, you should simplify everything. Therefore, I at last have a salt and pepper shaker that performs just as I desire. They look good to me as well. When seasoning food, the salt and pepper both come out quite easily and evenly, enabling me to use the ideal amount of pressure. Smooth out the tiny things instead of fighting them!
