Elegant Salt And Pepper Grinder Set Of 2 - Premium Stainless Steel Pepper Grinder - Enjoy Your Favorite Spices, Fresh Ground Pepper, Himalayan Or Sea Salts Review:

Pros:InexpensiveThey appear appealing from a distance.Cons:-Having a movable coarseness option is convenient, but it results in very erratic particle sizes. Since I want my salt and pepper pretty coarse, I usually get a mixture of all different sizes when I use that option (including very fine)Since the optical quality is subpar up close, it is evident that the glass is inexpensive. It looks like cheap glass and is rather wavy and ripply. Additionally, the seams where the molten glass was pumped into the mold are visible. The stainless steel tops feel flimsy and inexpensive.Additional ideasI suppose they're adequate for the price. I didn't have high hopes and had intended to wait until I had more money in the bank account to purchase some fancier ones. Do keep in mind that there are other listings for what appears to be the same product both here and elsewhere online, and various dealers simply put their "brand" on it. I think it's basically a generic Chinese product that merchants are selling under their own names. I bring this up since you can probably find a slightly cheaper listing for the same item elsewhere.I'm not disappointed, and for the price, it's about what I anticipated. Just be aware that you won't be receiving anything comparable to a $50 set. If it weren't so reasonably priced, I would have given it three stars, but as it is, I'll give it four.Additional ideasRemember that you can use these for grinding more exotic materials, such as rosemary, thyme, cumin,.....whatever other whole herbs or spices you choose, if you're like me and wanted something affordable for now but plan to get nice ones later. Since unground spices stay better and tend to have a superior flavor, I prefer to purchase them. So, there you go.UPDATE: After considering the price, I realized that I should have given this product 4 instead of 3 stars. Given that the vendor got in touch with me and made things right, I'll give it a very enthusiastic 4 stars overall.

Ebaco Original Stainless Steel Salt or Pepper Grinder - Top Spice Mill with Ceramic Blades, Brushed Stainless Steel and Adjustable Coarseness By Pepper Grinder (Single Package) Review:

After my plastic pepper mill from HEB broke, I purchased this one. This is a cooking equipment that you simply must have, in my opinion. When I started grinding, the one I was using before produced a lot of noise. It is easy to utilize this product. Additionally, you can change the tightness of the lid to alter the degree of coarseness to your liking or needs. It can be used to grind salt and other spices as well, but I only ever use it to ground pepper. The exquisite style of this product is what I appreciate most. It combines function and style thanks to its stainless steel top and transparent glass container. a lovely improvement to your kitchen.

Premium Salt and Pepper Grinder Set of 2 - Refillable Coarseness Adjustable Stainless Steel Salt and Pepper Mill Shakers With Lid 6 OZ Glass Body And Free Cleaning Brush Review:

These salt and pepper shakers have a beautiful, modern style. Nicely done for the price. I also appreciate that they are not labelled "salt" or "pepper," so you could use both if you preferred. The size surprised me a little bit because I assumed it would be smaller based on the photographs. I should have paid more attention because the seller was quite clear about this and even included the dimensions in one of the photos. In the end, I appreciate the size since they contain a lot of salt and pepper and the large top offers you some leverage while rotating the incredibly smooth mechanism.I enjoy them.

Premium Stainless Steel Salt and Pepper Grinder Set of 2 - Adjustable Ceramic Sea Salt Grinder & Pepper Grinder - Tall Glass Salt and Pepper Shakers - Pepper Mill & Salt Mill with Free Funnel & EBook Review:

With the review, I want to be VERY clear. My rating of five stars is for the PRODUCT'S QUALITY, NOT THE SHIPPING'S QUALITY.Despite receiving maybe the worst sent box I've ever had, I won't lower the rating for this product (pictures included).Anyway, the grinders are great as far as they go (it's a miracle that they function given the shipping issue). While in my brain I thought there would be a greater difference in the coarseness of each grind as I adjusted the grinder, I noticed that it didn't have a significant impact on my use of the grinder. This is only MY personal experience with it at this time. These grinders are not for you if you're seeking for a mill or grinders that will offer you discernible distinctions in their grinds.Really, the only drawback is that. Regarding the positives, I really, really enjoy how precisely ground my white peppercorns and himalayan pink salt are by these grinders. I grind the salt till it is even finer than granulated when using the finest squeeze. It resembles powdered salt because it is so fine. I had never seen or tasted salt with such a fine grind, and I never imagined I would adore it as much as I do. Due to the powdered form, you actually have even more control over the quantity of salt you're actually using, which makes doing a pinch of salt even simpler. The salt and better come out in granules at their coarsest gauge. Although I had expecting it to be considerably more coarse than it is at its most coarse level, the pepper does come out a BIT coarse (as wanted). In either case, I absolutely adore these things, but I kindly ask that you consider the buyer you are choosing.

I purchased a Cole

Premium Salt and Pepper Grinder Set with Stand Stainless Steel Manual Spice Adjustable Coarseness with Five Grinding Level Pepper Mill Grinders Shakers Gift Set with Silicone Funnel (Pack of 2) Review:

We can add additional seasoning to our food with this set at the dinner table after it has been cooked. They come in a box that is very giftable in terms of color, and they are considerably larger than I anticipated. They almost reach the height of a 24-ounce Tervis tumbler! It has a very high end appearance because to the thick, clear glass and the polished stainless steel top. By simply turning the knob, the grinding mechanism may be easily adjusted to a variety of settings. The stainless steel top prevents dust from entering. For this extremely affordable set, the stand and the silicone funnel are unquestionably a huge plus. They also have a wonderful customer service staff. adore it

XQXQ Wood Salt and Pepper Mill Set, Pepper Grinders, Salt Shakers with Adjustable Ceramic Rotor- 8 inches -Pack of 2 Review:

The product functions and is reasonable at $16 for a pair of grinders.I can't really comment on the quality of them because I haven't had them for very long, but I can say that a really nice set of grinders will have some form of frame at both ends. This keeps the top of the grinder arm straight and the bottom of the grinder mechanism level. This will increase the grinder's durability and improve the quality of the grind you get. These lack that, therefore I anticipate that they will only survive for about a year before I have to start seeking for a reliable replacement. But the key is having realistic expectations. My previous set, purchased at a Williams Sonoma, cost $40 each grinder. It died after three years. If you average the price of two over three years, they were essentially $30 each year.Given the lower annual cost, this is a better offer. I am aware that occasionally quality outweighs cost, as evidenced by the fact that the more expensive set lasts three years, costs twice as much, and provides a superior grind. But is it really worth twice as much for the same outcome?I'm not a skilled enough cook to notice a substantial difference in the grind that would influence me. Overall, a good, reliable middle-of-the-road product that I will keep buying until I find an heirloom set that is both durable and priced reasonably.

Battery Operated Salt and Pepper Grinder Set - Electric Stainless Steel Salt&Pepper Mills(2) by Flafster Kitchen -Tall Power Shakers with Stand - Ceramic Grinders with lights and Adjustable Coarseness Review:

I rarely write reviews, therefore I am very grateful to those of you who do. Having said that, I simply HAD to write about these battery-powered grinders. I bought 4 pairs of these over the years. The first three were from the same high-end brand and cost at least $90 per pair, two for my use and one for my mother. I made an effort to maintain the functionality of these older versions by routinely removing rust from the battery chambers. My boyfriend got sick of this and purchased me a fourth, different brand from Amazon, but even with fresh batteries I quickly got sick of the weak grinding. Plus, their LED lights only occasionally function, which is, to put it mildly, VERY annoying. In every regard, these grinders are outstanding. In the first place, they were the FIRST to redesign the battery compartment so that it is separate from the area where salt and pepper are added. Additionally, they make the battery compartment more moisture resistant to further protect it from dampness. The lights always work, the grinder's adjustment is very simple to operate and reach, and the grinding force is AMAZING. Simply put, I've never been happier. You will be, I'm sure.

Electric Gravity Pepper Grinder or Salt Mill with Adjustable Coarseness Automatic Pepper Mill Grinder Battery Powered with Blue LED Light,One Hand Opetated,Brushed Stainless Steel by CHEW FUN Review:

A set of grinders that operated but frequently seemed to struggle were replaced. Then they perished from leaking Duracell AAA batteries. Duracell compensated me the $28 I spent on this set once I got in touch with them. These perform significantly better than my last set; they grind more quickly, don't clog down, and provide a great grind from entire peppercorns. I haven't determined what I'll use the second one for; as of now, I only use one for the pepper. However, it does a great job at peppercorn grinding.I haven't had them long enough to rate their durability, so it's too early to give them a five-star review. These really seem like a good gift, in my opinion. But if you give them as a gift, don't forget to include AAA batteries. Each one requires 6 batteries. The need for six AAA batteries is the sole drawback. I don't like AAA Duracell batteries, primarily because I've had some of them leak. To use with this, I therefore got AmazonBasics AAA Performance Alkaline batteries, which are already present. If the Amazon batteries are superior to Duracell's, only time will tell; ideally, there won't be any leaks. I hope they could create versions of these that operate on AA batteries, perhaps with a design that takes 4 AA batteries. Although 4 AA may be around the same size as 6 AAA, these are presumably designed to use AAA to help keep the size down. That's what I want to see, so whatever.I do recommend these grinders because they are nice overall.

Latent Epicure Battery Operated Salt and Pepper Grinder Set (Pack of 2 Mills) - Complimentary Mill Rest | Bright Light | Adjustable Coarseness | Review:

I enjoyed them for about a month before the batteries started to degrade. I replaced the batteries with fresh ones thinking they were the only issue. And after a short while, the new ones too started to rust. It has now occurred numerous times. The salt and pepper shakers' seal, in my opinion, is not very excellent. Therefore, moisture enters them from steam if you keep them anywhere near your meal while you're cooking. If I hadn't already consumed some of them, far more costly ones, I might have assumed that this was usual and suggested that I keep them away from the food. But it's not typical for me to experience some of these for so long. The ones I previously owned were $75, and I simply didn't feel the need to spend that much money when there were other lot more affordable options available on Amazon. Furthermore, playing some music somewhere in my kitchen, away from the cooking area, would be quite bothersome. Furthermore, they would probably continue to do so if you held them over the cooking dish while you added salt and pepper.***Update- The manufacturer has gotten in touch with me and claims that this scenario has never happened with these salt and pepper shakers previously. I'm getting replacements from them. I have a lot of faith that these will be fantastic! I'm upgrading from one star to three because I think it's fantastic of the firm to care enough to make things right. To be honest, I never considered getting in touch with the business. I only noticed that my window for returning had closed. When I get the new ones and have had a chance to check how the batteries hold up over time, I will provide an update in a few more weeks.Revised: October 9With the new set the firm supplied me, the battery seal is performing excellently. They perform superbly!

I am not familiar with the Cole and Mason brand, but after doing a quick search online, it seems like they are a reputable company. They have been around for over 100 years and offer a wide range of products, from salt and pepper mills to food storage containers. I would say that if you are looking for a good quality product, Cole and Mason is a brand worth considering.

Is Himalayan salt harder to grind?

Himalayan salt is definitely harder to grind than regular salt. I found this out the hard way when I tried to grind some up for a recipe. I had to use a lot more force than usual and it took quite a bit longer to get the desired consistency. In the end, it was worth it because the flavor was incredible. If you're looking for a unique salt to use in your cooking, I highly recommend Himalayan salt.

A salt mill and a pepper mill are two different things. A salt mill is used to grind salt into fine pieces, while a pepper mill is used to grind pepper into fine pieces.

If you use your pepper mill frequently, then you should wash it every few weeks. All you need to do is unscrew the top, remove the peppercorns, and rinse out the inside with warm water. You can also use a small brush to get rid of any stubborn bits of pepper.
