KooK Double Wall Serving Bowl - 11 Inch Hammered Style - Stainless Steel (Soup, Cooked Food, Salads, Fruit) Review:

I can't see it as a beverage holder, especially if you are entertaining, but for serving it would be perfect. Fridge or cooler would be a better
beverage for a lager party application. I ordered two and they showed up in perfect condition and I chose them because of the double wall thinking that would help more with insulation for foods that needed to stay cool. The other option I was considering was a plastic serving bowl. A little small for something like chips but perfect for salads (potato, macaroni, lettuce or something like that). Haven't used them for entertaining yet, but it looks like they would be perfect for a party of 6 - 8 and they do look good. I plan on using plastic or wood utensils as not to scratch them so I'll have them for the rest of my life or until I'm not cooking or entertaining. One thing to note is that it's double walled and I don't see a seam which is good because I plan on washing them by hand and not in the dishwasher. There is a very, VERY small dent at the top of one so if you're a perfectionist you might give this a 4 star review but if that's your concern, best you go to a specialty kitchen shop. For the price and for what I plan to use them, they'll work just fine.

Lipper International 1154 Acacia Round Flair Serving Bowl for Fruits or Salads, Large, 12" Diameter x 4.5" Height, Single Bowl Review:

I knew I wanted a wood fruit bowl to use as a centerpiece for my dining table but couldn’t find one at any of the typical stores that you’d expect to find such a thing. I found this one and for around $20 didn’t hesitate to pull the trigger. Thus far, it has held up well. The bowl should be hand washed only; due to the smooth finish, cleaning is an easy task. I would highly recommend this bowl if you’re searching for a nice centerpiece, salad or fruit bowl.

Lipper International 1174 Acacia Wave Serving Bowl for Fruits or Salads, Large, 12" Diameter x 7" Height, Single Bowl Review:

Beautiful bowl, just as described. Ours is smooth and has no splinters (mentioned in previous comments) and the wood grain is just lovely, exactly as pictured. I've treated it with John Taylor Butcher Block Conditioner, food grade, because we use the bowl to store our fresh fruit until it ripens. This way, I'm hoping that the moisture from the fruit will not harm the wood. It's large enough that it holds a lot of fruit, which is good, and if we decide to use it as a salad bowl, it will hold a large salad, enough for a big group. We keep the bowl on our kitchen counter, and it looks so pretty.

Bentgo Salad (Blue) BPA-Free Lunch Container with Large 54-oz Salad Bowl, 3-Compartment Bento-Style Tray for Salad Toppings and Snacks, 3-oz Sauce Container for Dressings, and Built-In Reusable Fork Review:

I am very impressed with this product. Almost every day I make a large salad using many toppings. I originally was using pie plates to pre-make these salads because it allows enough space to fit everything AND to toss it. However, it was difficult to bring salads to work for lunch, and then I found this awesome to-go salad set!
When I first unboxed it, I was concerned it seemed smaller than it looked online, and that my typical salads would not fit. However, the depth of the bowl and topping compartment makes up for the square area. Everything fits. One can comfortably fit 3 ounces of greens in the bottom compartment. 4 ounces will also fit, but you will have to pack the greens a little. I pack the topping compartment quite full and strategically, but I do not have to squish anything to close it. In the picture the compartment is holding, 3oz of salmon, 1 boiled egg, 1 Roma tomato, half of a carrot, 1/4 cup cucumber, 1/8 cup daikon, red onion, and 2 Tbsp capers. The dressing compartment holds a significant amount, somewhere between a 1/4-1/3 cup. Do be careful not to overfill it as the lid will not seal properly. You can easily tell when putting the lid on if you have overfilled it. I also really love how the setup allows you to keep the toppings off the greens until you are ready to eat it, so the greens don't get soggy. When it comes to tossing the salad, it's still great. I personally like to pour my dressing on the greens alone and toss, then I sprinkle all my toppings on. From there, depeding on the salad, I can toss a corner at a time or the whole thing without worry of something flying out of the bowl. The fork that comes with this actually works quite well. Normally I cannot stand to eat with plastic but this fork is quite sturdy, and very good at stabbing at a salad. The compartment where the fork is kept also has room to put a napkin and/or happy note. The product's packaging is clearly marked as BPA free (many sellers on amazon lie about this).

Small Cons:
(1) Sometimes when the lid is off, the clear plastic cover that goes over the fork has trouble staying locked in. The fork stays fine.
(2) Product is dishwasher safe, however, the lids must be hand washed to prevent damaging the seals.

Koseena-Salad Chopper and Bowl-Durable Bowl-Sharp Blade Cuts Hard Veggies-Chopped Salad Bowl and Chopper-Salad Cutter-Salad Maker Review:

I dislike big pieces of lettuce in my salad so I purchased this. It works great. I've used it on fast food salads and homemade ones. It chops up everything for easy eating. I don't have to try and shove it in my mouth while holding my hand or napkin over my mouth. On a fluke, I decided to use it on chow mein noodles - good result and I'll be using it for this too and probably more food items.
I chose this product because I wanted a bowl that was not wooden. This bowl is what I needed The plastic is very sturdy. I was concerned about having only a single blade but it has caused no issues. As a matter of fact, I prefer having the single blade. I think it makes it easier to clean.
I would definitely buy this product again.
Giftable? 5 stars because I'd be happy to get this as a gift.

HIC Harold Import Co. 43824 Taco Shell Tong, Red Review:

Excellent product. Makes corn tortilla's or flour tortilla's quick and easy. Simply put down a square of wax paper or a freezer bag cut in half. Put a golf ball size roll of Masa Harina or your flour mixture on the top of the bottom wax paper or plastic. Place another piece of wax paper on top or fold over the top half of the freezer bag (plastic) on top. Gently squeeze. Makes perfectly round tortilla's.

For Empanada's or fried pies... remove the top piece of wax paper (or plastic bag). Put your filling in the middle. Gently use the bottom was paper or plastic to fold over to create a half-moon shape. Pinch edges together. Peel off the wax paper or plastic. Bake or fry.

Easy! Fast! Easy to clean.

Large Acrylic Mixing And Serving Bowls, Great for Serving Salad, Popcorn, Chips, Dips, Condiments, Break-Resistant Set of 2 Clear 146 oz Review:

These bowls surprisingly awesome given the price. We use them for salads and wash them on the top rack of the dishwasher or hand wash them. They're not very thick, but they feel sturdy and have held up to consistent use over several months. One of the bowls I received deformed and cracked the first time through the dishwasher, but the vendor replaced it quickly and easily. Because the plastic is so clear and our water is hard, they tend to have water shots unless they're dried completely immediately after washing.

Bormioli Rocco Viva Salad Bowl, 28-3/4-Ounce Review:

This is a great bowl. It's just the right size and it is a beautiful looking bowl. It's easy to hold and carry. It's not heavy even though you assume it will be. The only thing I would have loved to have had was a plastic top because I had to put it in the frig and my other glass bowls have plastic tops.

We entertain for big crowds very often. I have a green Arcoroc bowl for salads that' I've literally had for over twenty years. It's become apparent that we needed an additional large bowl and it was very difficult to find. Almost all the large salad bowls are either wood or plastic or too plain. This looked pretty good, came yesterday, washed it and it was on the table today holding home made potato salad! Everyone loved it.

Good job amazon! Seriously, don't hesitate to buy this bowl, you'll love it. I loved it because this is one of my extremely rare reviews! So for me to do this, it's a great bowl!

CHAUDER Reusable Salad Container To Go for Lunch with Dressing Dispenser and Ice Pack, 5 Cup Large Capacity Mixing Bowl, PVC, BPA-Free, FDA Passed, Perfect for Women, Men, Kids, With Fork Review:

I needed a large salad bowl to go & this one fits the bill perfectly. The dressing bowl holds 2 tblsp which is the standard dressing serving size. I was able to fit a large salad in the bottom and keep the things I don't want mixed until later separately. The only negative thing I have so far is one of the latches broke off before I even used it, but luckily they send you with one additional one so I will try to get it on. I bought two so I had a spare. Just a little disappointing how quick I lost a latch, didnt even get to use it. Other than that these are great salad bowls for those who like to have a large salad like myself. Also it is 100% leak proof so far, I was able to shake my salad for mixing with no problems. The fork is useless for a salad but I have no issue with that because I always pack my own silverware anyway.

Winco WWB-6 Wooden Woven Salad Bowl, 6-Inch Review:

I have had a set of wood bowls that I have enjoyed for YEARS but over time they were destroyed in various ways or lost.
Thus, I went seeking for at least the 6" size that I had used the most.

I missed them! Gladly I found them on Amazon. I went a head and ordered a set of 4. At minimum this would cover use for a family of 4 salad use, but we also use them for everything else.

Short of having ordered 4 and only getting 1, then a week later getting the other 3, (and having the tracking suggest that they all went at the same time--I think the USPS may have been part of this issue). Love them.

I did notice that one of the 3 is slightly different than the others, but not sure if it was the single or if it had been one of the 3 some that arrived later. Because of the fact they are not from the same lot to be the same form, they dont stack quite as perfect as my old set.

Love the light weight bowls, and natural wood bowl look. Be warned, the sickers used for UPC on the bottom dont come off easy. Be ready to have some oil or warm suds to get them soaked off.

Do be warned, I did loose a bowl or two from my old set in the dish washer, so I plan to try and keep these to hand wash. (the weave if imenitrated by water then heat, may warp in woven woods). But to me, this type of bowl is more charming by far than plastic and lighter and shatter proof as compared to glass or ceramics.

Not sure if I would have been happier with an 8" version, so I may opt to get those and a Larger salad prep bowl for a future Amazon revisit!
