I purchased this to use as a roof-mounted TV antenna mount. It is watertight and the complete installation took around 10 minutes.When it first arrived, the metal rim was bent, and I panicked. However, after reading the directions carefully, I learned it was intended to mold to the roof, thus, duh.Since it completely seals against my antenna pole, it is very simple to cut. Installation is not that difficult. Then, seal the base with a non-petroleum based substance, screw in, and cut the opening you need (on the tiny side). This will cover the pole, vent pipe, or other roof protrusion. Self-tapping screws are to be used, per the instructions. Because of the way the roof is built, I decided to utilize wood screws, so I used a center punch to pre-punch the screw sites before mounting and screwing in the grommeted stainless steel screws. The roof won't outlive them.This is significantly more expensive than a big-box store's low-cost plastic self-flash boot, but it is also significantly superior. It is a rubber that is malleable and flexible and won't become brittle over time and need to be quickly replaced.

These were bought in bulk to be used under area rugs in the living room, under large area rugs in the bedroom (yes, they are that spoiled, they have their own bedroom), and under area rugs in the mud room where they keep their kennel. This has been a terrific product for when they are sick and throw up or when the child forgets to ring the bell to go outside to pee since it prevents the mess from soaking through to the carpet in the living room or their bedroom and keeps the mudroom's wood floor from being damaged. The smell is the only issue. To get rid of the smell, I had to let it air out for a few days and also spray orange-scented Lysol on it.

I have a tool set that is contained in a plastic briefcase-shaped case and contains sockets, wrenches, and other tools. The case's bottom plastic hinge shattered over the course of 12 years. I attempted to create a new hinge by taping the top and bottom of the box together with duct tape. The first time I tried to use the tool set again, it fell apart. To repair the hinge, I purchased this tape. The tape has enough width to attach to the bottom of the case firmly, and both sides have enough overlap to provide a much stronger attachment. The tape worked nicely for this application and was incredibly secure. I want to use this tape wherever I would have previously used duct tape.

Nicely constructed, thick, and sturdy plastic window coverings that should last for a very long time. Used these at the farm to seal the two old aluminium windows in the basement, which stopped any air leaks. Had to trim the ends a little, but a pair of tin snips handled the job without any splits or cracks. I'd unquestionably purchase these again.

The Zip tape is fantastic—I've used it countless times. On my last employment, I purchased this from Amazon without realizing it had a backing contact sheet that is quite difficult to separate from the tape itself. It's fine once it's going, but getting it going takes time and frustration. The contact backing might be helpful in some circumstances, but I'm not a fan. It would have been wonderful if the description set this tape out from the standard fare.

Talk about saving time. My window experienced a leak, which resulted in some water damage. I had to throw away the carpet, rip out and repair the drywall, replace the window, and remove the siding, which was costly and time-consuming. My point is that the house was constructed in 1998 with improper window flashing. Zip tape enables you to quickly and securely flash the entire window. In my opinion, if the window is changed in 20 years, the building will be completely dry.

Really excellent product. There are many comparable items available, but if you had saw a Matt Risingler video, you would be convinced as well. I'm glad I chose the Zip over the alternatives because it performed better than I could have anticipated. I considered thickness when determining what would function the best. This had a very excellent thickness. Excellent and sticky stuff, I must say. For the best results, use a j roller, but it also works well without one.

What is there truly to say about "lap seal"? It functions and dries to the touch soon (like it should). It sticks firmly (like it should). The hue is a gentle matte (which it should be). Therefore, this product performs as it should; but, I am unable to comment on whether it will last as long as it should. That won't happen for a number of years, and even if it did, I doubt I would remember to update this review.

We chose to use a plastic utensil holder for the product's test. On both sides of the plastic, we drilled holes that were roughly half the size of a cent. The water was then added to the plastic cup. We taped it shut while the water was gushing out, and as soon as we applied a piece of tape that was big enough, the water immediately stopped. Be careful to use a generously sized piece since when we tried to block the leak with a piece that was only large enough to cover the hole with thin margins, it failed miserably. However, as you can see from the video, the tape is wonderful with a piece of a reasonable size and reasonable margins. It immediately halted the leak! Set your expectations that you'll need to find another way to permanently address your leak problem because I don't believe this is intended to be the solution to your problem. This tape has the tremendous benefit of buying you some time to formulate your strategy. Imagine having a leak on a Sunday around midday. By using this method to temporarily plug it, you may call a plumber during regular business hours without having to pay high emergency rates.
