I virtually always cook with this cooking wine. It might be used for a rapid stir-fry, sukiyaki, any soup with soy sauce as the base, and pretty much anything else. You may want to limit how much of this you prepare because it is very sweet, especially if you have diabetes. If you're making any Asian-inspired meal, this product makes a great pairing with Kikkoman soy sauce. If you add just a tiny bit of red peppers, crushed or whole, it also creates a terrific hot and spicy dish. There are other varieties of mirin, but I think this is the greatest.
