To cut a long tale short, I recently had to move unexpectedly, thus I had to temporarily move Rothstein, my bearded dragon, into a smaller environment. I discovered this when exploring for ways to make the most of his space. Rothstein wasn't first really pleased with it. But now that day three has passed, he adores it! He can comfortably fit his full stretched-out body on this because it is nearly two feet long and he is roughly 15 inches from nose to tail tip (he has a weird thing about his feet not freely hanging). I don't have to worry about Rothstein's claws breaking up the cloth or about it sagging and coming undone with his weight because it is thick and robust. It comes with leathery strings and six sizable suction cups. With this product, I haven't experienced any issues with the suction cups remaining in place, which is a problem I've encountered with previous products. I had been dissatisfied when I first took it out of the packaging because I was unable to get the center crease where it had been folded in half to smooth out. I gave up on trying to eliminate the crease and hung it up instead. In the end, the crease turned out to be a good thing since it gives the lounger a lovely upward slope on each side, allowing Rothstein to sit directly beneath his light source and to use the crease to get on and off the lounger with ease. I'll make an effort to capture a lovely image of him relaxing so I can upload it. Anyone who has a lizard who enjoys climbing or sunning should get this item, in my opinion. By the way, I advise ordering it from this site because the prices I found for this item in pet stores were not particularly favorable.

For my six hermit crabs, I've been using this substrate for the past six years. They appear to be happy. I've occasionally combined it with some Flukers sand, but primarily this substrate. Since hermit crabs have "modified gils" and require humidity to breathe, it's critical to maintain humidity levels between 60 and 70 percent. Regulate the temperature to roughly 75 degrees, or just a few degrees less or more, and use heating pads on the tank. Mine favor a little bit of warmth. Because the pet store counter food is terrible, I also order speciality food from ETSY. My hermit crabs are flourishing and in good health. Deep substrate is crucial because the crabs burrow and molt there. As they grow, they will also require larger shells. AVOID using painted shells. And because they require a lot of labor, I don't even advise buying them. It goes without saying that I take good care of them. The only reason I rated it four stars is because gnats occasionally fly around. Despite what some people may think, I never see the gnats in the winter. So I'm not sure.

This moss is the one that my tiny box turtle like more than any other. She must sprinkle it every day since it retains moisture well and prevents her from being coated in coconut fiber ( or dirt). I topped it with a layer of coconut fiber that was 3–4 inches thick. More moisture can be held in the coconut fiber. She like walking on this because I dampen it every day as well. I have a turtle with special requirements who walks a little awkwardly due to her slightly crooked spine. I make sure she has a comfortable bed and steps made out of pavers to get to her sunbathing area. (Not excessively high; just slanted). She really enjoys looking for bugs that have dug burrows in this stuff. She finds it entertaining. Much better than simply having the "carpet" on the floor, it works beautifully. This is ideal for turtle burrowing, which they NEED. I make an effort to be mindful of her tiny eyes. I make sure she has a thick coating of this on top so that she can burrow and so that it won't irritate her eyes because she tends to respond to the coconut fiber.

It's a favorite of my little box turtle. He can dig on the smaller side, and we utilize the larger side as a swimming pool with some rocks. On the raised island, there are two dishes for food and water. He moves through it without any issues and appears to be enjoying himself.Since we've had it for a few months, the aquarium has performed admirably. Given that this is a glass tank, I was concerned about the contents when I saw the battered box that was delivered to my door step, with the tape barely holding top and bottom together. The top and bottom flaps of the main box were both unfastened and had a bent corner. There were a few foam-like corners within this box, but they weren't holding the inner box's corners in place. The real tank packaging was found within the inner package, and thankfully the tank was unharmed. It was probably spared by the multiple layers of boxing, however it's concerning that the exterior box was not even properly taped for its size and weight. So, place your order with care. It's possible that your package won't make it. Or you can be fortunate, as I was.

Great results!People who complain that it doesn't work at all should take a close look at how filthy their water is and consider investing in a better filter. If this thing wasn't able to accomplish what it was intended to, I feel horrible for their turtles. I just got my Faunarium, and I couldn't be more pleased! Even though I was quite concerned, it was actually neatly wrapped for transportation. It was contained in its own box with some tissue paper and about three layers of strong bubble wrap. As a result, when I removed the bubble wrap, I discovered a minor break on the side. However, as most individuals won't turn to the side, this is not a problem. That it was not broken, as some other reviewers said, gives me great relief. Even a separator is included in the habitat in case certain people can't get along. This tank is excellent! It has plenty of space for a tiny creature. My hermit crab has been living in a sizable critter tote, so I've been looking for an upgrade that isn't too expensive. This is pretty much all! He'll be content tonight! There is a faint orange glow emanating from the tank, but it is barely perceptible. It contains lots of breathing holes for your animal(s). The only drawback is that I have to buy a bit more sand because it is wider, but this will save me from having to change for a longer period of time. This tank has made me extremely happy, and I heartily suggest it to anyone searching for a fantastic environment for small animals!
