I have never had any paper that pens will not write on, and receipts print out perfectly.As a CUSTOMER, there are some stores where it's nearly impossible to sign the credit card receipt since the paper seems to repel all ink. I abhor that! I'm not sure what kind of paper they use or where they acquire it, but I've never seen such issues with paper before.The cost is fair.The print quality is typical.It is easily written on with pens.

These rolls are 50' long, not 85' long. They work with other terminals and vx520 terminals alike. The vx520 credit card terminal will not accommodate the 85' rolls. They had been on my shopping list for around two years. These rolls work great and last as long as 50 feet of terminal paper. They've never caused me any issues. The item, pricing, and shipment were all excellent. They are not 85 foot rolls; rather, they are 50 foot rolls that can be used in equipment that does not accept 85 foot rolls.

Although I confess it does not perfectly match the preview images (which many do when you buy thermal paper), for the price it is ideal and just what I was looking for! The same 2 1/4 x 50" thermal paper, marketed by Amazon as their "Best Seller," was previously purchased from another Amazon customer, and I was quite let down. You obtained less paper since the center was wider (about 3/4 inch wide), and because it was difficult to open the roll, you would lose a lot of paper in the process. The middle of this one is 1/2 inch wide, and it is very simple to open without losing any paper. Happy with this purchase a lot!

I had no idea that the quality of receipt papers could vary so much. I had been purchasing one for around 20% less, but it was out of stock, so I got this one instead, and I'm pleased I did. With the extra $3, I can purchase much thicker, whiter paper that runs through my printer more smoothly, making the print crisper and less prone to smudging. It's not quite the same as when I used thick, soft toilet paper for the first time ten years ago and realized that I had been suffering needlessly for years in order to save a few cents, but there has been a little but visible difference in how my company is seen by its clients. Some of my customers have even made comments about the new paper, albeit inane ones like "that's a really white receipt," but that's about the best one can ever expect for from such a banal object as a receipt.

We have Star TSP100 receipt printers at our sales stations because I manage a small retail store. I initially got 50 of these rolls to test them out, and I plan to do so again. For stores of our size (which don't need to stock more than a box at a time), I haven't found a discount nearly as good as this for the paper. Although the paper is somewhat thin, none of our clients have voiced a complaint. The printing is still legible after a year, but I haven't used this brand of paper long enough to determine how long it takes to fade. Although we usually had to trash the first 9" or so of the roll due to smudges and the poorly packed box we received, this doesn't amount to a substantial material loss.The only true issue we have with this paper is that in order to sign their credit card receipts, our customers must utilize a clipboard (or simply have something below). The paper simply won't function properly when pressed flat on our (wood lacquered) desk, despite our repeated pen experiments.

The first roll has so far performed like, well, calculator tape. It's not complicated:-) I've used a variety of rolls at different price points, and this product performs about as well as more expensive paper and better than the inexpensive tissue-like products you can get at Walmart. The closest option is an hour away, and our neighbourhood Staples store is now shuttered. I'm glad I found this on Amazon, and I chuckle to myself every time I make a purchase, remembering why I joined Amazon Prime.

I've been using your items at my restaurant for a while. I'm pleased with both the price and the products. But every order has a unique code ( discount for the next order), which doesn't seem to be working. The code TAKE10 would not work when I tried to reorder after just receiving my order. The rolls in my shipment smell fine, and they print flawlessly in the printer.Purchaser / Packager:Please separate the first and second layers of rolls in the box with paper or a separator.Due to a loose sticker holding the rolls together, the top rolls start to unravel over the bottom roll and the sticker begins to stay together.As a result, when I reached inside and pulled a roll out, it was loose and adhered to the bottom of the roll. The issue should be resolved by making sure the sticker tape rolls tightly and the top and bottom layers don't unravel.
