Okay, so maybe I was lucky, but these props function exactly the same as my original props. a quick history. I appreciate most folks that order these props. I damaged a propeller when I crashed my drone. It was an honest error and not a hard collision. Since I am a cheapskate and I am proud of my flying abilities, this was the first time I had ever crashed it, so I got these props. At the time, these were the most affordable I could find. As soon as the props arrived, I noted how similar they were to the originals in terms of both appearance and feel. I removed all of my auxiliary equipment and recalibrated the sensor and GPS. The additional aftermarket prop was then installed along with all of my original ones. My drone operated perfectly normally. Handling was good, and the footage appeared consistent. I subsequently swapped out every single one of them with aftermarket counterparts since I believed that flying with identical propellers was preferable, even if I couldn't feel the difference. The drone flew as well.So why all the bad feedback? Here are my ideas.1. It's likely that the pilots didn't recalibrate their sensors after their previous crash.2. It's likely that the pilots improperly installed the props. Maybe they didn't lock them right?3. I was fortunate to obtain excellent aftermarket props, whilst others were unlucky to obtain subpar aftermarket props.In short, these props make my drone fly precisely the same as it did with the OEM propellers. All the props were changed with these after I recalibrated the sensors, and it worked well.

The HS110D is a fantastic drone for the money. This model didn't have GPS, but it was still very simple for a beginner like me to fly. It handled a few major crashes (which were all due to my inexperience). I brought spare blades, gears, motors, and landing gear. It has been so incredibly reliable that I have only needed to replace one blade after a collision with a big tree at full tilt. Since then, I have had many enjoyable hours of flight time. Depending on the type of flying I'm doing, the use of cameras, and the wind conditions, flight times have ranged from just over 7 minutes to as high as just under 11 minutes.I contacted customer service with some inquiries regarding the HS110D and the HS120D (which I later purchased because to their excellent customer service), and they went above and beyond to assist me with the HS110D. These Helistar M2P props appear to be on par with OEM props in terms of quality. The leading edges and tips are well shaped, and the rivets are firmly fastened. Compared to the OEM props, they are a touch more malleable. I'm going to test them out. This review has been updated to address the complaints individuals have about the use of screws to secure the blades. The brass inserts that were utilized were slightly undersized when they were tapped to hold the screws VERY TIGHT, as can be seen if you check on the other side of the screws. The screws are still too tight to back out on their own, even after being broken loose and partially removed with the ball end of a 1/16" allen wrench. I had to use quite a bit of power to get a few of them to come loose. Remove them and secure them with red lock-tite if you are that concerned.I also want to talk about the potential impact they could have on your battery life and flight duration. Going up to 300 feet AGL, I simply ran in Position mode in a wide 1-mile radius across farm fields until I received a low battery warning, at which point I headed back to my house to test the battery runtime. I did this three times, then switched back to the standard props and did it again with the fourth battery. All four flights lasted exactly 21 minutes and all four batteries had been depleted to the same amount, give or take 1% or 2%. Therefore, I think that if you performed a hover test, you might actually have a little greater battery life because, according to physics, three blades will provide far more lift than two. When I have the chance, I'll try hovering.I'll now return to my initial review post:You would think they would show up on a rainy day. I worked as an avionics technician for the Air Force in the 1970s, so I am well aware of the effects that adding a prop may have. While waiting for them to arrive, I had been itching to try these.The first thing I want to say is that these props appear to need some sort of final polishing because, as you can see in the photographs, they are scratched and scarred up. It is in the finish since nothing can be removed. I anticipated that they would be completely polished and have the familiar carbon fiber appearance. They appear more worn-out and drab.In addition to the fact that each includes an extra blade, I can say that the pitch on these blades is higher than the factory props without having to dig out the calipers and other measuring tools. I can't wait to use them now more than before. To fairly compare any differences in fly time on a fully charged battery versus with the factory props on the Mavic 2 Pro, I will update this evaluation once I have had a chance to run down three batteries.UPDATE (2019-01-18): WOW! I put the standard propellers back on after running these hard with three fully charged batteries, and I still received the same amount of flight time from all four batteries. No, they do not reduce the amount of time your battery lasts. Stick controls have a crazy response, so if you need to make extremely small, precise movements, put the standard props back on. I then put them through an obstruction test to see if they could stop in time without the sensors, and it truly slammed on the brakes in an instant. Whatever set of props you have installed, the top speed is managed by the program. They therefore accelerate and stop the drone much more quickly, but they do not improve its speed. I adore these accessories! But the next time I go out, I'll attempt to select a warmer day to see if the noise levels have changed.
