These are the decorations I bought for our unsightly chain link fence in the backyard. I reasoned that some potted flowers would add a little beauty to the area. Many plant hangers made for decks or fences don't work well with chain link fencing. It made me happy that these were successful. Although I found certain restrictions on where I could put them, this was not a deal-breaker. Your ability to use these and where may depend on the type of fence you have.The baskets are made of thin, hollow tubular metal, thick wire, and flat metal leaves, all of which are painted black. A little metal support that extends backward from the bottom of the basket and rests against your fence prevents the basket from leaning forward too much. There are two rounded flat metal hooks at the top back of the basket for hanging that go over the top of the fence rail (see photos of baskets hung up). Simply hook them over the top of your fence to "install" them, then set the basket inside.The plant hangers required to be positioned at regular intervals along the horizontal fence rail where it crossed the vertical fence posts on our particular chain link fence to provide the right support and prevent the baskets from tipping too far forward. I've included pictures to show how to lean and how to stand over the fence posts (see pics). This issue would not likely arise with different fence designs (perhaps even installation on the "front" side of the chain link). I'm hoping that the images would help customers understand how well these will fit their fences.One out of every twelve hangers arrived with a metal leaf torn off, which is a poor sign of quality. I used it exactly as is since I don't believe it is noticeable when hung up. Although the metal tube is hollow and they are quite light, they feel solid enough to carry out their intended role. While the 7" x 8" plastic pots in the image are acceptable, I might avoid heavier ceramic pots. If wanted, you may insert a somewhat larger pot; but, a pot that is excessively heavy might not be effectively supported. After hanging outside for a month, I turned to take pictures and saw a tiny bit of rust starting to appear (see closeup). These will be kept indoors over the winter and will receive a fresh coat of spray paint in the spring.I was pleased with these overall. You get hangers that are elegant, useful, and simple to use for the price, and they work on chain link fences as well as probably the majority of other fences. However, at a very affordable price, I'm fairly happy. If you're expecting heavy sturdy cast iron type hangers or anything that looks extremely high end, these may not be for you. Your decision may be aided by the images.

I have a wraparound balcony at my brand-new apartments. This may work fine if I weren't on the fourth story. It does not firmly rest on the railing. While seated at my outdoor table, they had been blown over by the brisk winds that pass through my porch. To utilise them as they were meant, I would NEVER DARE. They may seriously harm someone or something below if they dropped from the railing. So, although it wasn't the best option for me, it might be a great fit for another railing.

These heavy-duty baskets work well. However, I have 2x4 rails for myself (my fault for not looking at dimensions closely). But I did discover a place where they might fit (bottom railing on my deck). Before deciding to buy a resin planter, I bought the less expensive plastic version of this stackable stack pot planter that they sell. I must admit that I adore this stack pot planter's appearance and space-saving design. It saves some space and looks much nicer than the lengthy window boxes I was using before, with room for nine different herbs (10 if you place a tall type in the top middle area).. I've had several flattering remarks about it. The only issue I have is that it appears I got a returned item because it was obvious someone had drilled their own drainage holes into my planter — the plastic's cut marks were evident and not smooth like they would be on a manufactured item. This made me unhappy because it means I can only use it outside unless I want water from the drains all over my floor. The herbs that require a bit more shade are placed on the side away from the sun since it works a little better outside for full sun, but indoors you could just rotate the planter every other day. My small nephew believed the pots were magically floating, which is funny. Anyway, I would highly recommend it as a really good, reasonably priced, and stylish planter.

The exterior of the planters is attractive, and they match the listing's description. I like how the water collecting basin is integrated into the design so that water doesn't spill out after watering the plants. It required some finagling to get one of the railing connections to fit because it was somewhat bent. Since it is plastic, there isn't much you can do if it becomes distorted. They did not bulge or bow after being loaded with plants and potting soil, as was observed in similar goods. The plastic appears to be thick enough to hold the contents firmly.Although I'm not sure if they will stay through several seasons, it currently looks nice and clings to the railing really well. In a strong wind, I'm not sure if I would trust it, therefore I'll probably take them off the railing.The greatest product I could locate at a fair price was this one.
