fantastic kit There are several goods in the box, and they appear to be of adequate quality. Half of these tools are difficult to use and lack instructions, which is why I didn't give them all five stars. To figure out what to do with them, I had to video a bunch of this stuff. I've been purchasing quilling tools, a couple at a time, and this time I thought I'd try one of the sets. When I examined closely, I was relieved to realize that I had received a new curling coach, as opposed to the one I had previously, which had the same size holes for shaping loose coils. The supplied little scissors are excellent; they have sharp points, tips that close snugly for precise cutting, and a pleasant tight feel. Great colors are used in the sample papers. The quilling boards feature a huge working surface in the middle and a variety of shapes. The little glue bottle features a needle tip that is ideal for dotting tiny amounts of glue precisely where you want them. The tool with the split tip for rolling the paper is excellent and has a little ball tip for embossing on the other end. The pins are fine. The awl is like any other. I haven't used this angled tweezers yet because I already own one; I like the sort that crosses in the middle and closes when you push the center, so I doubt I'll use the one that came with this kit very often. Playing with all of my new "things" after opening the package was enjoyable. I'm not sure if purchasing them individually or as a kit resulted in the most financial savings, but I'm quite content with this kit.

This quilling kit is fantastic! This is such an underappreciated art form, which is why I wanted to start a new pastime! You basically get everything you need in this package to get started, and more! Everything is in an Asian language, and it's impossible to disassemble the electric quill to put batteries in, which is the only reason I gave it a 4-star rating. Although there are picture-based instructions, they do not demonstrate how to open the device to insert batteries. On YouTube, I'm sure I can find directions. I've followed some techniques and made a couple designs of my own. Already having a great time!

To assist me create the shapes for my 3D quilled dolls, I wanted something similar. I purchased it as soon as I learned it was available. Just like everything else produced by Quilled Creations, it is of high quality. The cone domes could be taller, though. Although they certainly aid in creating better cone forms, their size prevents them from being as useful as I had hoped. As the largest dome on this piece is smaller than the largest dome on the original Quilled Creations mold, I would also like to emphasize that it will not replace that item.
