This tiny alarm clock is very cute! The projection of the time on the ceiling is extremely practical. My ability to sleep is considerably improved! simple to read There are actually three brightness settings. The alarm clock and temperature functions are nice. iRedBeau Projection Alarm Clock,7" Curved-Screen Large Digital Display,Adjust Brightness Automatically,Dual Alarm Clock with 2 Alarm Sounds,FM Radio,USB Phone Charger,Suitable for Night (Blue) Review:

I've only been using this clock for a few weeks, but I love how the time is projected onto my wall. My nightstand's ancient phone, clock, and radio needed to be replaced. This clock/modern radio's design means it doesn't take up nearly as much space as the previous clock. I am not losing anything, but I am getting a clock with numerals that are large enough for me to view day or night, a radio with fantastic quality, and more space on my bedside table because I no longer needed the phone because we now have wireless phones. In the event of a major power outage, it can remember all time settings. Only the charging cord can be used for other tasks (AC Adapter is not included in the package). If you choose "AU" mode, your LED display will go into low-brightness mode automatically when it detects darkness. It is convenient because you don't have to manually adjust the brightness as the surroundings changes. The newest projection alarm clock for 2019 is this one. Clear time is projected onto your wall or ceiling by the 180° swivel projector. It has a total of 15 FM station preset memories, allowing you to save and instantly access your favorite stations. (FM:76.0-108.0MHz). The sleep timer option enables you to doze off while listening to music in 90, 75, 60, 45, 30, 15, and 5 minutes (customerized). After the predetermined amount of time, the radio will shut off automatically. Radio volume controls range from L00 (the lowest setting) to L15 (maximum).I've always relied on my iPhone as an alarm clock. Now that I have this clock, I no longer need to utilize my iPhone as an alarm.

SMARTRO Digital Projection Alarm Clock with Weather Station, Indoor Outdoor Thermometer, USB Charger, Dual Alarm Clocks for Bedrooms, AC & Battery Operated Review:

The moment I saw a projection alarm clock, I knew I had to have one. I planned to hang it from the ceiling. I did some research, and this sounded like a good option. After purchasing it and receiving it, I was unable to turn the projection so that it wouldn't be upside down when viewed from the bed. This cannot be adjusted, which I felt was kind of...needed! To get the unturned projection where I wanted it, I had to tilt it 45 degrees using the box it arrived in. The clock's actual display was towards the back wall, out of my line of sight (the bed). Therefore, I reasoned that they couldn't have this, so I decided to return it. The trouble is, I looked up every single projection clock on Amazon and elsewhere for one that has a turnable display. unable to locate even one. For the most part, THEY ALL ARE THE SAME. Although the arm can swing 180 degrees, none of the projections can be rotated; they can only be flipped. I canceled the return and moved the projection from the ceiling to the far wall so I could see the clock and the projection without being bothered by them. A truly fascinating feature is the temperature (both inside and outside), and both thermometers appear to be reliable. If you want a projection clock, I would suggest this one, but be careful of the problem I experienced with it.

Kalawen Weather Station and Projection Alarm Clock Color Multifunctional Time Date Weekday Temperature Humidity LCD Display (Projection Clock) Review:

A wireless temperature and relative humidity indicator is included with this projection clock. The temperature, date, and time are all functional. The projection function, which displays the time and temperature, is the coolest feature (both indoor and out door).Additionally, I would give the customer service five stars. After making my purchase, I got an electronic copy of the FAQs from the seller. I was able to better comprehend the product thanks to the document.

Projection Clock, Digital Projection Alarm Clock with Weather Station, Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer, USB Charger, Dual Alarm Clocks for Bedrooms, LED Display with Dimmer, 12/24 Hours Review:

I have had so many projection clocks on my nightstand over the past ten years that I can't even begin to count them. I adored my Brookstone clock, but I couldn't find a replacement after someone stole the exterior sensor. I've tried various kinds, but they either stopped working or had an intermittent outside sensor. I had two clocks for a while, one showing the time and the interior temperature and the other the time and the outside temperature.I adore the 24-hour (military) time that some clocks offer while others do not. Since it features 24 hour time (or am/pm) and in and out temperatures, this clock is the only one on my bedside. Since I've had it operating for a few months, the outside sensor has never lost contact with me.In case something happens to my existing one, I've considered purchasing a backup and storing it. I love this clock!

Pop-up Bar Projection Alarm Clock with USB Charging Port, Black, La Crosse Technology 616-1950 This alarm clock has an excellent display and fantastic projection if you're searching for one with simple functionality (no dual alarm and no radio). Since I've had it for a few weeks, I can attest that it is accurate, the alarm is loud enough, and most importantly, it looks fantastic and has a clear, adjustable projection. I really appreciate that the pop-up projector may be stored when not in use. gives day, date, indoor temperature, humidity, and battery backup. Recommended!

PICTEK Projection Alarm Clock, 15 FM Radio Alarm Clock, 5'' Large Curved LED Display, 6 Dimmer, Dual Alarm with 4 Alarm Sounds, Digital Clock for Bedrooms Ceiling, USB Phone Charger, Snooze Review:

I've bought and returned a number of clocks because I've been in need of one during those early morning hours. You know how sometimes when you wake up early, you're not sure if you should just get up or if you can still sleep, so you grab your phone to check the time, and then you notice a message or anything that tempts you to check it? Well, no more. I can read this clock without my glasses on even though it is about 8 feet away from me. Even better, I could still sleep for an additional hour when I woke up on my back, reading the time on the ceiling (10 feet above the clock). The radio and the brightness controls are both excellent. It looks tidy and complements my decor far better than I could have anticipated.

Dr. Prepare Projection Alarm Clock for Bedrooms with Indoor & Outdoor Temperature Display Dual Alarms Multi-Colored Backlight Projection Clock with Weather Forecast Review:

My wife and I have been using projection clocks for years and are stuck with them. When the outdoor sensor on a prior unit failed, I purchased this one. I must admit that I had low hopes, but I was pleasantly surprised when the unit showed up. It immediately synchronized, the display was clear and color-coded according to the temperature, and the projection was functional. We really enjoy how the display switches between inside and outdoor temperatures. The only thing I find disappointing about this product, as well as many others, is the lack of a focus wheel for the projection. It is almost sharp, but there is a tiny bit of blur. Because of the pricing and features, I gave this product a total of 5 stars. would repurchase. I would be so thrilled if I could persuade hotels to start utilizing these types of clocks!

Oregon Scientific RM313PNFA New FLIP projection feature Self-Setting Projection Flip Clock, Black Review:

This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for for a long time, however Oregon Scientific might need to fire their marketing team (never put the words "Hip" AND "Cool" in huge form on the front of your packaging for an alarm clock)! I use my iPhone as my alarm clock like most people do these days, so I don't truly need the alarm feature. I keep my iPhone charging on my nightstand. I also don't need my clock to have a radio or speakers because I have far better sound systems and speakers all over my house. I have the following requirements for an alarm clock for my bedroom:1. A display that isn't too bright to prevent me from falling asleep!2. A display that is large enough for me to see at a glance when I wake up in the middle of the night.3. Reliable timekeeping that I don't have to re-set after every power surge (ie. atomic, sets itself automatically)4. The choice of using a battery or an AC adapter5. An AC adaptor with a wire long enough to extend from the outlet to the top of my headboard.6. Compact and maybe transportable7. Can be used without a PhD.8. A display that isn't too bright to prevent me from falling asleep! -> This was noteworthy.I could have anything I wanted from this alarm clock. It is the most suitable clock I have found so far for my requirements. I strongly advise you to give this alarm clock a serious look if you're looking for similar features in an alarm clock. Although I don't need or intend to utilize many of the bells and whistles in this, I'll concentrate on the ones I do. Setting this up was SO SIMPLE. After I plugged it in (using the wonderful long cable that came with it), it located a signal and automatically set the date, timezone, and temperature within three minutes. The best kind of instructions are those that can be understood without having to be read, like this one. The clock itself is incredibly compact, saving crucial space on the nightstand. It is also incredibly lightweight, making it simple to transport. It also included brand-new batteries, which is a thoughtful addition. The display or projection, which is the crucial portion, is next. In all honesty, I don't really care about the screen's actual display. I only need to glance at my iPhone screen or my always-on Apple watch to learn anything it can tell me while I'm awake. The projection on the ceiling was what I really desired, and this one is almost ideal! I've included a few images so you can see how it appears on the ceiling just above my pillow (no zoom) at various times of the day with all the lights on, all the lights off but the windows open, a lamp on, late afternoon, and when it is fully dark outside. The results won't be amazing obviously if the lights are on or if it's daylight, but who cares? The finest feature of the projected image is that there is nothing GLOWING in your face, making it even bigger, crisper, clearer, and more attractive in the dark! The projector tip emits a tiny red light that isn't at all bothersome to sleep because it isn't in the blue light spectrum, but you can barely see it if you're gazing at it (again, see picture). I adore that I can open my eyes to check the time and close them to see nothing! HALLELUJAH!! Although I believe it's stupid, the middle dots actually blink, but with your eyes closed you can't see it at all.If you really need to be able to read what's on the face display, I would advise against this one because the display itself isn't the easiest to view from a distance or from certain angles. Positioned next to my bed, I snapped a photo of the screen, and although it appears to be broken because nothing can be read, in reality, it is merely the angle at which I was standing that caused this.In conclusion, if you're seeking for the same features in a bedside clock as I was, this one might be the one for you! It has my whole and utter affection. Even though it has a ton of additional features and custom options, this is what counts to me. This alarm clock is very nicely made and is EXACTLY what I've wanted in an alarm clock for years, despite the fact that it isn't trendy or cool in any way. Oregon Scientific, I THANK YOU! Without a doubt, I endorse this. Yes, I did pay the full price for it.

Mpow Projection Alarm Clock, 5'' LED Curved-Screen Digital Alarm Clock, 15 FM Radio, Dual Alarm with 4 Alarm Sounds, 6 Dimmer, 12/24 Hour, USB Phone Charger, Projection Clock on Ceiling Bedroom Review:

Update: We appreciate Patozon customer support for getting in touch and sending a free replacement clock. They went above and beyond, and I sincerely appreciate it!All I needed was a basic alarm clock with two alarms and soothing nature noises. All of stuff is included in this clock, yet... This clock has two serious problems in my opinion: (1) You shouldn't require instructions to use a clock. Once the first alarm sounded, I was unable to figure out how to turn off the second one. (I had the first when I woke up; I didn't need the second; see below.)(2) Each alarm should have its own independent power switch. With this clock, they can either be on or off simultaneously. That may be acceptable for a "his/hers" function, but I needed two alarms because I wake up at various times throughout the week and didn't want to have to reset the clock each time. It still counts as only 1 alarm for me as I can only turn both of them on. Despite having read the instructions numerous times, I haven't been able to find a way (see above...)

How do projection clocks work?

Most projection clocks use a time base generator to create a square wave, which is then used to drive a motor that turns an impeller, or wheel, at a constant speed.
