I wasn't sure the starter would fit or function for $27, but it did both. Only a few dozen times have I used it, and each time it has worked without a hitch. I regretfully observe that while the bendix gear will not engage the flywheel if the polarity is wired incorrectly, the starter will spin backwards if one does. I briefly believed that the bendix had become jammed in before realising my error. When I switched the wires back, the starter started working normally again. I wish each of my little motors could have one of these starters attached!

My 2004 Polaris Ranger 500 starter started causing me problems, so I went looking for a replacement. Polaris demands an absurdly high price for their starter, so I choose to try this one instead. I'm pleased I did because this starter works great and is far less expensive than the one from the factory. After spending a week in temperatures below zero, I just started my Ranger, and it started right up. Highly suggested.

I bought this for my Yamaha Kodiak 400 from 2002.Every time I pressed the start button, it simply clicked but wouldn't start. I swapped out my old starter solenoid for this one, and it started right up. If I were you, I would replace the subpar fuses that this one came with with this new component. One of the new ones came apart when I attempted to remove it to inspect it. That is why I gave it a 4 out of 5.

Excellent starter replacement for my son's TaoTao125. worked perfectly and jumped straight in. The starting is broken if your battery cables are burning hot and the starter won't turn over. It only takes a few screws to remove the left side foot rest area and three or four bolts to remove the engine side cover in order to reinstall the chain. You do not need to be concerned about anything spilling out because there is nothing under that cover.

Based on user evaluations, I discovered that other customers had removed the old solenoid plug and spliced it to the new one after I received the solenoid and discovered that the plug on the end did not match the original plug. I carried out the same action with the one I had already received, but later I received another solenoid in the mail with the identical plug as the first one. Even though I only purchased 1, I was charged for both, and since I had altered the first one, I was unable to exchange it.It was clear that the first one I received was the incorrect one, and after realizing this, the business gave me the appropriate item without informing me of the mistake.
