High-N-Dry Briarproof, and Waterproof Protector Chaps, Made in U.S.A. Review:

I am a female biologist, and I typically find the process of purchasing field clothing to be dreadfully unpleasant. These pants are the exception. My legs are virtually entirely scratch-free despite having worn them through about 250 miles of briars in Southern Georgia while conducting Gopher Tortoise surveys. They hold up well against blackberries and green briar in particular.I will add that over time, the ends near the boots do have a tendency to fray a little bit, but this just seems to affect the appearance and not the functionality of the chaps. Additionally, they don't always completely cover you on the knees because of how tight they are when you elevate one leg to walk over a tall patch of briars, which causes your flesh to be closer to the chaps and allows some thorns to enter.Overall, I'm quite happy with these chaps and will definitely buy more if my present pair ever break! Additionally, they shield you from the bothersome yellow and deer flies that Georgia seems to be known for:)

Viking Cycle Men's Plain Motorcycle Leather Chaps Review:

The XXXL size of the chaps under consideration is.I bought these pants in the hopes that they would fit. It takes a great deal of dead cow skin to cover my huge and short physique. The waist looks good. The belt has plenty of room and is laced and grommeted on the rear.Nope, not around the thigh. So be it. Will make a fantastic holiday gift for someone.Anyway. The leather is nice quality. It is neither too thin nor too thick to be of any use. It has a black dye.A number of substantial pieces of leather make up each leg. For a person of normal height, the front is made up of two parts, with the seam at the level of the knee. The seam has two stitches.A seriously massive metal YKK zipper is on the outside. That's great. The metal should take a lot of wear and last for years. It should zip shut from the top down, which is how it does. Once at the fold and once where it rests back against the inside of the leg, the leather covering the zipper is folded over and sewn. It has four snap rivets on the bottom. There are three components to the leg's back. The rear piece extends partially down the leg and runs parallel to the expansion grommets. This indicates that for longevity, the high-stress areas are made entirely of leather. every time, use double seams. The bottom is made of sliced, unstitched leather. This initially disturbed me. It no longer does. It is considerably simpler to hem and trim the chaps to fit the rider if the bottom is left free. The chaps fit your leg length properly after a quick trip to a leather shop. This is far preferable to purchasing pre-sewn cuffs that are either too short or too long. The top and bottom of the rear strap are single stitched and folded over twice. It is double stitched at the seams where the parts are linked. On the left leg, there is a Velcro-seal pocket. Large enough to hold your keys but not for anything else. Both glued and stitched seams are used. The glue is likely present to keep the edges together while the sewing is being done. It is a weak adhesive. Each leg's upper portion has a nylon web woven into it from the inside. It hangs freely at the bottom. It is now simpler to wear the chaps over pants as a result.I only hope my legs could fit within the thigh.

Milwaukee Men's Classic Braided Chaps (Black, Medium) Review:

My Wilwaukee Leather Braided Chaps ML1135 from Leather Extreme just arrived. For my 33" waist, 22" thigh, and 30" inseam, the size small is the ideal fit. They may be made ideal by taking 1" off the length. I was impressed by the leather's quality, softness, and comfort in the fit. even got there one day early. Prior to making a purchase, I quickly received a response from customer service regarding sizing, and it was accurate. Excellent value for the money. I say "thumbs up"! Thanks

Ladies Biker Chaps with LACES ON THE BACK (X-Large) Review:

For a motorcycle run in Winnemucca, Nevada, I purchased these. I needed new Chaps because my previous ones didn't fit anymore. Additionally, the likelihood of extremely favorable or unfavorable weather during this run is always 50/50. They look wonderful and the leather quality is excellent. Here are a few size guidelines. My thigh measured 24 1/2 inches around the thickest area, therefore I got an XL. I believe that XXL is the best option if you are 25 inches or taller. Nothing out of the ordinary about having to shorten them. If you need more room around the waist, they come with an additional piece. Although the ties in the back can be undone, my spouse thinks they look excellent, therefore they are really more for aesthetic purposes. The best thing about them is that in addition to being cozy, they also kept the wind, rain, and hail out and kept me warm. complete shielding from the weather I have no regrets at all about buying these.

Viking Cycle Men's Braided Motorcycle Leather Chaps Review:

My first pair did not match the size chart provided by the vendor. I ordered from the chart after measuring in accordance with their recommendations, however the chaps were too big. The business was excellent and made it simple and painless to exchange for the following size down. Unfortunately, they sent me the exact same size in the second pair; they didn't send me the next lower size.As it was now time for some serious riding, I made the decision to simply preserve and alter the enormous chaps. The chaps are very well constructed from leather that is of a good weight. Although the snaps are fairly tight, they will eventually loosen, and I would much rather they start with tight snaps than loose ones. The seams seem to be quite sturdy. After giving them a nice working-over with leather conditioner, they are now considerably softer and more comfortable than they were the first time I wore them.I have already given one of my biker buddies my recommendation for these.

Dublin Easy-Care Half Chaps II Adults Review:

My half-chaps arrived in the mail yesterday, and after referring to Dover Saddlery's sizing recommendations, I discovered that they were a wonderful fit. (Dover claims that these should fit like tall boots, touch the back of your knee at first, and be very difficult to zip until they are broken in a little.) Given that I am 6'1", going tall was a wise choice on my part. When I wasn't sure the trade would work out, I wrote a question about it, and I received a response two hours afterwards. Their customer service is outstanding; they provided me with precise measurements for the sizes I requested and instructions on how to exchange them if necessary. A for both the product and the service.

Xelement B7556 Women's Black Braided Zippered Leather Chaps - 12 Review:

These guys are going to make you swoon! Over the years I've been riding, I've owned various pairs, but these are by far the greatest design for ladies. We are all aware of how weight fluctuates, sometimes day to day. The additional zipper expansion and inner thigh expansion are both perfect. Size chart is spot on, so make sure to take your measurements as they suggest. Extra length is fantastic; I advise against cutting till your usual riding boots are on. When compared to $200 for a pair of "HD Chaps," these are top of the line because of the high-quality leather, elegant, basic braid design, and great broad waist belt. These chaps are designed for women who own their own bicycles. These are not for you if you want "sleek-sexy" calves, as one reviewer here did. Instead, try leather pants. You won't be sorry you bought these. I can see where all of my riding gear will be purchased in the future from these people. Good work!

Xelement 7550 'Classic' Black Unisex Leather Motorcycle Chaps - 38 Review:

extreme leather. went on a comfortable all-day bike rally/cruise. These can be put on by oneself; assistance is not required to zip them up. The snaps and zippers are not lightweight. I regret not getting a size larger. I was advised to choose a size bigger than your waist size, which I did, but I wish I had ordered a size bigger. To wear these properly, I had to go out and purchase a pair of skinny pants. They also have great looks!

A&H Apparel Unisex Adult Leather Half Chaps Black and Brown Review:

I received my chaps in the mail, and I adore them! I did take the measurements they advised, but the pair I got is too large. I'm returning these and switching to a smaller size. Without a break-in period, soft leather. I can't wait to obtain the right size and wear these when riding my horse. My equestrian buddies have heard about them from me.
