I have not yet utilized this product, but I anticipate success. To keep my 5 foot farm tractor snow blade approximately 1/2 inch off the black top of my driveway and road while I plow snow this winter, I created custom brackets for it. By tightening these feet, you can raise the blade by 1/2 inch without scratching the bottom of it on the driveway or road.

I compared different manufacturers and concluded that, at least for my particular machine, this one (KFI) was the best. I'm thrilled with the choice I made. All of the parts are sturdy and, in my opinion, will last for many years. As a side note, I had to contact KFI directly a few times with questions, and each time I did, I received excellent help from a live person. Great technical support, then. On my Kawasaki 650 Prairie, I've just finished adding this. Actually, I looked over the plow alternatives on the MotoAlliance website before making my purchase. In place of the generic mounting bracket that is included in that package, they provided a custom kit for my Prairie, which was essentially a custom mounting bracket. I choose to get the universal kit because it was $80 cheaper to buy that piece.I believe you should be fine if you purchase this item off of a website without seeing it first, unless you have one of the quads they list as a reason it might not fit. The mounting bracket is supposed to go on last in the directions, but I did it first because I didn't see the sense in building anything else if the mounting bracket didn't fit. I have a photo of the mounting bracket I can attach. Despite what the instructions suggest, I didn't need to remove my skid plate. I had 1.5 circular frame pipe that was exposed and formed a "X." It was simple to attach the mounting bracket using the U-Bolts that were provided. The remainder of the installation is simple. It was a little difficult to attach the wear bars on the blade. I dislike nuts with nylon inserts, therefore I had to use an open-end wrench to attach 7 of them because there was no room for a ratchet. (14mm). The directions are clear enough, and even with a few retries because I wanted to rust-proof the nuts and bolts, it only took me a little under two hours. The front end can obviously feel the weight of the plow.My biggest concern was that I would order this item, have it shipped to me (UPS man simply looooves me), and it wouldn't fit. Fortunately, there are many U Bolts provided to ensure a snug fit and the mounting bracket is made to fit a variety of frames. I can't imagine paying $500 or more for an ATV blade when this bulky item is only $329. I chose the 60" model so that it would still be as broad as the tires on my quad even when I angled it.

I aligned everything using the original steel cutting edge as a guide and was able to drill holes that properly lined up as well as trim the long end to fit a 48" blade. This rubber is hefty! To assist hold the edge in place, longer bolts with extra-large fender washers had to be used. It appears to be sturdy enough to be used to plow sidewalks without harming the concrete, the plow, or my machine. If I think of it with how it works with snow, I'll update. Initial impressions are positive.

I bought this to go with my '14 RZR 800 S with 72" Cycle Country Plow, and I couldn't be happier with its performance.It is made of premium rubber that has been reinforced with what looks like cloth to boost its tensile strength in the manner of duct tape. It performs a great job of helping the blade roll the snow, stopping spillovers, and, depending on your speed, keeping the snow from flying back into your face. This device will make plowing easier whether you are on a 4 wheeler, side by side, or in the cab of a UTV. It is highly recommended for the price.The flap's actual measurements are 72" x 6" x 1/4" (LxWxH).There are 11 pre-drilled holes starting 1" from the edge, spaced every 7".There would be a hole at roughly 1", 8", 15", 22", 29", 36", 43", 50", 57", 64", and 71 if you were to take a tape measure and start from the left (or right, it doesn't matter).The weak instructions would be my one and only complaint. Drilling a few holes is simple to understand, however the directions are vague on where the flap should be placed. I assumed you would place it on the lip at the top of the plow blade, but because the instructions omitted to mention it, I had to quickly confirm my assumption using Google. Sure enough, I was correct.Advantages: Keeps snow where you want it, not where you don't; is simple to install; includes nylon lock nuts; is durable; can be used with any blade 72 inches or smaller.Cons... None for me at the moment, but if you use side markers, you might need to drill or cut the rubber flap to make room for them.If you're wondering or don't have many of the tools needed for this project at home;(2) 7/16" wrenches 11mm should also work, (2) squeeze clamps or a friend to hold it in place, a marker, and a 1/4" metal drill bit are also required.Get a metal punch tool, or better yet, get a series of them, as they come in quite helpful when drilling into metal. Use the punch to create an indentation in the middle of each mark you made to indicate where to drill. The punch tool essentially prevents the drill bit from straying from the mark. To make a low point for the drill bit, it makes a little indentation without causing the metal around it to deform. I can't tell you how many times I've used my punch tools for drilling on metal; if you don't already have any, you can get an inexpensive set along with the flap. 3 in 1 Tip Center Punches for Carpentry Metal Working, 1/32", 1/16", and 3/32"In order to prevent rust, I'd also advise getting a can of spray paint with a rust-inhibitor. Any brand will do as long as it has this feature.

Koplin #17-0000, the plow. The plow was delivered by UPS... It was simple to put together and install on my utv. My UTV is a 2018 Honda 500 M2 model. The steel mounting plate that the plow mount fastened to was something I had already installed. I bought the plate I used from Dennis Kirk.com. All of the included mounts and the plow fit together properly. When we have snow, we'll see how it performs.

Since this is a KFI product, I was apprehensive to order it, but I was sick of constantly having to fix the wire cable on my Warn winch. I have a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO with a front winch mount mounted Warn winch and a mid mount plow. I frequently had to replace or repair my cable since the wire snapped from rubbing on the roller fair lead so frequently. After fixing the cable twice in one day, I place this purchase. The item was delivered the following day, and I immediately put it on to see if it would function. The perforations were properly aligned. Two days later, I could test it out with some snow. In comparison to using the roller fairlead, I thought the plow was more responsive and could be raised higher. The item appears to be made of high-quality materials and is well-built. I would strongly recommend this fairlead pulley if you're having problems with your winch or plow! I was surprised to receive it the day after ordering because the free delivery claimed it would take a week to arrive. I appreciate the timely shipping from Powersport Superstore.

Works fairly good; I have mine set to 60". I reasoned that it would be a little bit more durable that way. The assembly is the one drawback; it looks simple enough on paper, but there are a lot of pieces, and if you don't have the mount bracket design for your UTV, you'll have to spend a lot of time finding out how to make the mount function. The included skid shoes are also a joke, although aftermarket parts are readily available. To avoid significant problems, make sure to adjust the trip springs to the terrain you're running on.

Excellent value and high calibre. I produced simple homemade washers out of a piece of thin metal tubing that was just thick enough for the bolt to slip through and long enough to make it around a lip on the top side of the Worksaver snow plough to fit these to fit my 60-inch Worksaver snow plough. By using Extreme max plough markings, I was able to save $30.
