The gun that came with the media blast cabinet I purchased from HF eventually stopped working.I attempted to replace it but discovered that HF does not sell the rifle separately?I was told by a friend to try this Wogoboo pistol because he had success using it.It worked without any issues right out of the box after I ordered it and connected it.The pickup hose needs to be straightened because, as has already been said, it is first a little stiff.My own was just straightened out and put in the sun for a few hours.The gun has performed admirably since being fully connected in the cabinet; in fact, it performs better than the original gun that came with the device.I advise anyone searching for a reliable gun at a reasonable price to buy this media blaster.The pistol also comes with extra tips, and from what I can see and feel, it is solidly constructed and doesn't feel cheap.

I recently got my portable sand blaster, and I can't wait to use it. This little item appears to be capable of handling a lot of the small projects I have. It seems to be well made thus far. Except for the trigger, which I'll discuss later, it seems sturdy despite being made primarily of plastic. It's also really incredible that they sell these on Amazon and have a changeable nozzle. It is a good idea to have access to replacement parts because they will wear out with use and exposure to various media. Instead of the one sheet with a rip down, it would have been nice if it had included more directions or a booklet, but I suppose they assume that you are either handy with tools or really good at figuring things out. This doesn't concern me since I am. The hopper appears to be a reasonable size, especially considering that the cannon will get heavier after it is loaded with blast material.The next and final disadvantage I can perceive. It's more of a preference than much of a con. The way the trigger is made isn't something I particularly like. One thing about it feels cheap and could break if not handled carefully. For further rigidity, I wish it was also attached to the pressure pin. I rated it with four stars because this is the only drawback that I can think of. Once my projects have been put through a number of tests, I'll update.

Few honest or quality reviews exist for this. Because I didn't have any media to test on my Brembo calipers, I was initially dubious. I tried the baking soda I had in the kitchen. did nothing at all. I felt incredibly let down. Online, I read that salt had been used. I tried that, but nothing happened. Even after reading other evaluations and being angry, I maintained my optimism.Due to the lack of a Tractor Supply or Harbor Freight store nearby, I chose to ignore everyone's advice and...I visited Home Depot and purchased play sand there!Because the silica in sand can seriously harm your lungs, I do not endorse or recommend using it.Since it was just $4 for 50 pounds and was right across the street from my place, I decided it was worth a shot.The outcome was unexpected! I began to believe this rifle as a result. A significant issue, in my opinion, is that the media control valve is inaccurate. On or off is indicated. I had no idea that controlling the amount of sand that comes out of the cannon makes a difference because I had never sandblasted before. It was completely open when I initially began adding the salt and baking soda. When the valve was only slightly open and salt was reapplied, some removal was achieved.The photographs show that this pistol accomplished its job, as you can see. Although the sand is somewhat too abrasive for the aluminum, IT WORKS! This pistol ABSOLUTELY WORKS at pressures between 90 and 120 pounds.You can create a home sandblaster if you use the right material and the proper air to material ratio. The next step is to find a clean, open location to work in and abrasive that won't hurt my lungs.

I just bought a 2006 pickup truck for occasional use and outdoor excursions. It had some frame corrosion that was starting, so I made the decision to start a renovation to get it back up to par and stop any future problems from arising. I've only recently begun creating horseshoe artwork. I began searching for a reasonably priced sandblaster to do the process of removing the protective coating because new shoes have it and old shoes had rust on them. I wanted to try it out when it arrived the other day (very fast shipping), but I had no media. So, I hurried to the nearby beach and collected some sand there. The sand did need to be sifted with some kitchen tools and allowed to dry for a while, but once that was done, the blaster operated perfectly. It works well for small jobs and, if you have the patience, bigger ones as well. The siphon option should stop the hopper from quickly consuming the sand. If you're searching for a cost-effective sand blaster that gets the job done, don't wait!

In order to blast off rust, paint, and oil from intricate portions of the Ford Model A coupe I am rebuilding, I needed a technique to access those areas. I utilize fine-grade coal slag from tractor supplies. I love this rifle! I've worked on everything from axle housings to wheels to spindles, brake drums, leaf springs, and more, using up roughly 15 50lb bags of abrasive.Even though the abrasive runs out quickly, put some in a bucket and pour it in using a big cup.As my Rolair 2.5 Big would catch up, I would wire brush the scaly things off, and that is quite helpful.

arrived quickly and in nice shape. The air dryer was added to the gun, black abrasive sandblasting aggregate was employed, and the gun operated without a hitch. Couldn't have asked for better results when I used it to clean a mailbox post made mostly of pot aluminum. The hopper is a little small, so I had to refill it rather frequently, but that worked out because it also gave the compressor time to catch up. If this is the kind of stuff you're looking for, you should certainly buy this product.

Best for usage at home or for hobbies. Used it to prepare AR15 parts for Cerakote by removing the old powder coating from iron chairs and black anodized coating. For this blaster to function properly, a 20gal compressor with a minimum output of 2.5hp is required. In order to have a greater material flow to the gun, I also advise cutting the rubber tubing in half. This requires you to get closer to the object to be blasted, but it generally works well.
The size of the compressor you'll need to run a sandblaster depends on the blaster's nozzle orifice size and how much cfm (cubic feet per minute) it requires. A rule of thumb is that you'll need 4 cfm for every 1/16" of nozzle orifice. So, for example, if you're using a 1/4" nozzle, you'll need a compressor that can deliver at least 16 cfm.
