A torque wrench is a tool used to apply a specific amount of torque to a fastener, such as a nut or bolt. It is generally used to ensure that the fastener is tightened to the proper specification. A torque wrench typically has a ratchet head on one end and a handle on the other. The user grips the handle and applies pressure to the head, which in turn tightens the fastener. A torque wrench can be used as a ratchet, but it is not recommended. The reason for this is that a torque wrench is designed to apply a specific amount
A crows foot changes torque by increasing the amount of force that can be applied to a nut or bolt. This is done by increasing the surface area of the tool that is in contact with the nut or bolt. This allows for more torque to be applied to the fastener without the risk of stripping the threads.
Yes, the DeWalt 12v works with 20V. This is because the DeWalt 12v is compatible with all DeWalt 20V MAX batteries. This means that you can use the DeWalt 12v with any DeWalt 20V MAX battery, including the DeWalt 20V MAX 5.0Ah battery.
There are three types of power wrenches: impact, electric, and pneumatic. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Impact wrenches are the most powerful and can loosen the tightest bolts. However, they are also the heaviest and most expensive. Electric wrenches are lighter and cheaper than impact wrenches, but they are not as powerful. Pneumatic wrenches are the lightest and least expensive, but they require an air compressor to operate.

Okay, some reviews claim that this is not a heavy-duty product. It's not quite as expensive as a heavy duty one, though. It works, that much is true. Before utilizing this, simply remove the nuts so that it can handle the laborious task of removing or screwing in the bolts and nuts. This tool isn't intended to be a breaker bar, but it has enough torque to handle the majority of tasks—with the exception of breaking free and turning on nuts and bolts. Additionally, it might not be suitable for severely rusted bolts and nuts. The nuts can be turned slowly, quickly, or anywhere in between thanks to the variable speed. Additionally, you can lock the switch off and modify the direction. It also contains a backup battery so you can keep working while one charges, which is a good feature. The short relieves my cordless screwdrivers, which I used to use, of the hard lifting. I don't know why anyone would want to give it a bad review, but I'll let you know if my opinion changes in the future by updating this page.

I have never seen this tool before! As an HVAC technician, I frequently repair equipment in constrained spaces. What a great ratchet this is! It saves me a ton of time when I need to get into tight spaces to change out motors, condenser fans, or compressors. I'm very impressed with how powerful it is considering that it just uses 12 volts. My coworkers are all clamoring for one right now. Although the slower pace compared to other ratchets on the market initially worried me, it no longer does. I adore it since the power to speed ratio is ideal for my work. It feels pretty tough overall and is made considerably more robustly than the previous model. I appreciate the paddle's lockable feature, which lets me store it in a bag without worrying that it will switch on. I like it so much that I also purchased the 1/2" version.

I didn't have high hopes for the product when I bought it. Seriously You must believe that an air-powered ratchet is superior to a battery-powered ratchet. I was so mistaken. First of all, the tool's head is small and fits into small spaces more easily than an air ratchet. Second, you're not using an air hose to fight. Sincerely, I didn't buy this tool to remove lug nuts. I didn't anticipate it to be the universe's strongest ratchet. But I can't tolerate using a hand ratchet, which requires 100 spins to remove a bolt and another 50 to finish. What I like about this tool is that you can use it manually to loosen a bolt or nut before removing it with a battery. I genuinely attempted to damage it. I treated it roughly. not mistreating it or flinging it around. nonetheless, using it hastily, like a technician who lacks patience. It worked excellently. The battery life is simply unbelievable. I used this ratchet to disassemble and rebuild an engine, and I only performed one battery charge. This one is excellent if you want a battery-operated ratchet but don't want to spend a lot of money on a Snap.

I adore the color green and was pleasantly impressed by how well-made this is (have a look at the video I've uploaded!). Despite the price, it does not feel at all inexpensive. After I bought it, I used it for two hours straight to put together and take apart shelving racks, and it still has plenty of power. Taking out bolts in confined spaces comes in incredibly helpful for me. I no longer need to use a standard ratchet to ratchet a single bolt for five minutes. I only need to release the bolts; the screwing and unscrewing will be handled by this. It also included two batteries and a rapid charge that lasted for 60 minutes, which was more than enough for my needs. Anyone wishing to conduct some light car work or just assemble furniture is advised to purchase this. You'll have a ton of time saved.

My whole experience with Neiko tools has been excellent. I have a few smaller (1/4", 3/8") torque wrenches and other hand tools, so I was pleasantly delighted to locate the Extendable 1/2" ratchet wrench on Amazon while I was looking for a replacement. I wanted a spare for my tool box because I keep one in a bag for my automobiles when I travel and handed one of the two I had to my son. In particular, I appreciate the 72 tooth gear because it often limits your ability to manipulate the handle when you need the extra leverage the extensible handle provides. Excellent tool, affordable pricing, quick dispatch. It stands out among my sloppily organized tool drawers and bags even without the red handle.

This device offers substantially greater tool protection against damage, therefore I'm delighted I ordered it. But I do think that this safety should be built into the tool itself, not as an add-on. The cost of this piece of rubber is also RIDICULOUSLY HIGH. I have a lot of Milwaukee M12 and M18 tools that I adore and that I paid affordable prices for. However, this can only be considered price gouging. Nevertheless, the item is strongly advised.

I've used thumb ratchets in the past, but until I watched a YouTube video about "You Needing This Tool," I had no idea what a Gimbal ratchet was. I did require both this and the 1/4" drive tool. I ordered both and have used them ever since they were delivered on a variety of tasks that I would have previously performed with a ratchet or nut driver, and they are fantastic. Excellent for confined spaces as well. came in very helpful when I needed to replace the timing belt on my daughter's FWD car, which had no space between the engine and the wheel wells.

I purchased this last week and tested it out at the salvage yard. I used this to remove both the IAC valve bolts and all of the upper intake manifold bolts since I required a part from an old Windstar. Each bolt is 10 mm in diameter. The majority of them were spun off by this ratchet on its own in a matter of seconds. For three or four of them, I had to manually turn the ratchet just enough to release the bolt before zipping them off. The battery gauge was still at "full."The IMRC actuator, which is inconveniently located on the side of the intake manifold, behind the alternator and blocked by multiple hoses and the serpentine belt, was the component I was there to purchase. These bolts are challenging to socket and ratchet, and even when you do, there is just perhaps a half-inch of swing arc available to crank the ratchet. After a few clicks, you must repeat the process from the beginning. This implies that it might take five minutes to fire a bolt. This may be a big PIA when it's hot and you're in an awkward position attempting to maintain your balance and the socket on the bolt. The cordless ratchet excels in this situation. Put the socket on the bolt and press the button to release it. Talk about saving time and aggravation! This is plenty of an incentive to get this. However, this is still far more effective than a standard ratchet for common, easily accessible bolts. It wouldn't have been "hard" to remove all the top intake manifold bolts by hand, but it would have taken time and energy to turn out each of the twelve bolts by hand. With the cordless ratchet, all you had to do was press one button, go on to the next, press another button, etc. Even when I had to manually free them, all it took was a quarter turn before pressing the button. incredibly quick and simple. Let me just say that I will be carrying this around with me from now on.Regarding torque ratings The breakaway torque on this contraption is rated as 35 ft pounds. That cannot possibly be true. This ratchet should be able to quickly remove the top intake manifold nuts on a Windstar since they are only torqued to 89 inch pounds (7.5 ft pounds). In fact, it did for the majority of them. But after three or four, I had to manually free myself. I still give it five stars, though. With this, I won't be releasing bolts anyway. On caliper bolts or anything else that needs to be tight, like an alternator bolt, I use a breaker bar or ordinary ratchet. Once I've gotten them loose, I'll use this to zip them off. I wouldn't advise overusing this cordless ratchet to try to loosen anything that is especially tight. It was not intended for that. This is the best option for quickly removing bolts and entering small spaces, and at $70, it's a great deal. It only takes one push of the button to spin the item out, even if you first need to use another ratchet to loosen the bolt.

The best wrench set I have is this one. I really utilised them for the first time on a project today. I hardly use wrenches occasionally, and I usually just use adjustable ones, but it hurt my knuckles a lot to have to take them off and readjust them every time I needed to turn a nut just a little bit. The two wrenches in this kit each have four different sizes. At 76 years old, even a small work saver would be appreciated. This was an outstanding work saver for me. The task at hand was completed swiftly. I urge anyone who works with wrenches of any kind to get this set.

A torque wrench is a powerful tool that can help you loosen or tighten bolts quickly and easily. However, you should be careful when using a torque wrench, as it is easy to damage the bolts if you use too much force. If you are not sure how much force to use, it is best to ask a professional for help.
