My Bosch Planer has been performing admirably with these blades. Maybe buying the Bosch alignment tool at the same time made it easier for me to install these blades properly.The alignment tool outperformed the Bosch factory in terms of results. Since buying the instrument, I had been cutting heavily from the side. I think BOSCH ought to provide these with each planer sale. They would go a long way toward ensuring that customers would get the most out of their planer because they are, after all, simply a piece of plastic.

Instead of buying the genuine replacement blades, I took a chance and bought aftermarket planer blades, and I've been happy with their performance. I've read some negative reviews, but I believe that rather than the blades themselves, the issues were probably caused by operator error. For a living, I restore wooden boats, and these fresh blades are still razor sharp after planeing Honduras mahogany, Sapele mahogany, Iroko, and some Teak. I always make light cuts because this planer is quite small and low duty, especially when working with Iroko and Teak, two materials that are particularly tough on planer blades. Additionally, I recycle a lot of my teak, so I am quite watchful for any potential fastening issues. These blades are a cost-effective replacement for the original, more expensive ones. When the current ones wear out, I'll purchase them again.

My planer has been in use for a year this month. It is still the shop's most stunning piece of machinery. Just the sliding miter box is utilized more frequently. 2000 bf of rough cut pine have been consumed by me. I'm reducing from approximately 5/4 to 3/4 ". There are 12 total "10' to 12' long and wide. I got them as a backup because I am currently using the second side of my second set of blades. The previous time, I bought Jay a single set from Amazon. This time, I made the wise decision to get the 2-pack package. Like other critics, I would have preferred if they had lasted longer, but I won't be grumbling. With the first 1000' of wood I cut, the planer paid for itself. Blades are insignificant in comparison to the money I will save by forgoing the purchase of already-milled lumber.The blades are incredibly sharp and exactly fit the DW735. Definitely worth the money.

These proceeded smoothly in my DeWalt 733 model planer. less than the OEM, and there is no reason to believe they won't perform and last just as well. Of course, time will tell how that turns out.There is no reason not to utilise these less expensive blades rather than paying more for the DeWalt name as the company has its own line of power tools and appears to be one of those that possibly makes products for other companies.

The new set's first edge lasted for five wood boards. They left ridges in the wood because they wore fairly badly in the middle and all along the blades. I used the second side of the blades and completed 27 poplar boards without any issues. I'm going to write the company to inquire about warranty-covered replacement blades. They claimed to be at least as good as the original blades in their advertising. The first set of blades lasted me for three years, so... We'll monitor the response. The replacement blades they provided me have been operating well so far. I increased the start rating from 2 to 4 for customer service and handling time. Would purchase again right now. thanks

I paid a pittance for a deWalt hand planer on Craigslist, but the blades were damaged. This was acceptable at first because all I was doing was flattening the ends of turning blanks so I could mount them in the lathe. Why not swap them out, I reasoned when I saw them on Amazon for sale? Given the cost, it was worthwhile to purchase a second pair even though I had always intended to sharpen the old pair (I have a grinder that can handle planer blades). They arrived brand-new, undamaged, and in the package. You don't even have to pay shipping if you have Amazon Prime (or tax). Overall, a good discovery.
