Best Power Drill Bit Extensions in 2020

TEKTON 4971 1/2-Inch Drive Impact Extension Bar Set, Cr-V, 3-Piece Review:

These are quality extensions that seem like they will last a lifetime. I have used them with my TEKTON 15356 1/2-Inch Drive by 24-Inch Breaker Bar, and they work great. They fit very snug to the wrench and the socket. They are actually sort of hard to remove that is how snug they fit. I do not consider this a negative though. You need a snug fit for something rated for use in an impact wrench.

This set comes with a 3",6", and 8" extension. The diameter of the extension part of the shaft is around a 1/2".

Pros:
*Very snug fit
*Can be put under a lot of torque

Cons:
*None so far

Additional Considerations:
Keep in mind these are for 1/2" drive and 1/2" on the end of the extension.

Overall: 5/5 stars (>=.5 rounds up, <.5 rounds down) => 5 stars

DEWALT Right Angle Attachment - Impact Ready Review:

This should be in every personal tool box. Especially if you every find yourself working between studs, joists or tight areas. Works very smoothly and dont think this bad bear only runs at low speeds. You will pass on it and realize soon enough you could have used it as it will surely be handy.
If you are cheap f&$!, and expect to be able to use it in a commercial setting day in and day out over a course of time without replacing it, you are probably wrong. However, this should last a home owner a lifetime and should be considered as handy to a contractor.
The bit it came with should last as long as you have a simple understanding of alignment to avoid stripping.
The hex shaft is 1/4" and good for the drill/driver but also simply snaps in to the 1/4" cordless impact wrench.

*For people such as the highest rated negative reviewer: This tool stripping out because of having to back out the screw or the screw freezing when driving in... The first thing to note is that this has to do with torque. Placement of a screw such as over a knot can also co tribute to the difficulty. Any bit will strip if you keep spinning it. If this starts to happen when using a drill/driver, think about switching it to an impact, if you have one. If you have one, it will increase torque dramatically and will likely get you right out of a rut. The simple fact is that from time to time, you may have to snip a screw off, back it out with grips or even abandon it, that is if you are relying solely on this, but an impact will likely turn things in your favor and also make the drilling super, super easy.

SE 3Pc Power Extension Bit Set 7503SD Review:

These Extension Socket bits work great with my power drill and impact driver. I thought the price was fantastic for this set that easily could be 10 dollars or more at a Home Improvement box store. Definitely something to add to the toolbox.

I have socket bits but all are 3/8 inch or smaller and I have sockets up to 1.5" so I thought why buy socket bits when I can buy these extenders to utilize my sockets that I already have. These work great.

***UPDATE***
I recently found an old socket set at work that was rusty and seemed unused for a long period of time and I wanted to clean them effectively and fast. The set had 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" sockets so I actually used all three of these power extension socket bits for the cleaning.

What I did was get a green scotch brite pad and hold that in one hand and then put a socket on the appropriate power extension bit which was secured in my power drill and basically held the socket on the scotch brite pad while rotating it with the drill, like a reverse buffing wheel. This cleaned the sockets exterior and interior rust accumulation in seconds and was very effective.

Caution because this will get the sockets hot when using enough friction and also wear a mask to limit breathing in the rust dust. This gave new life to the sockets plus I could then identify the sizes that were written on the sockets that I did not know were there before cleaning. Also I could identify the sockets that were simply too rusted to function any longer and some that were broken by the previous user. I thought this to be a great idea for cleaning sockets for personal use or reselling later because they looked clean and relatively unused afterward.

The only problem I had was that these sockets did not seat properly with the extension bits so some wobbled while rotating but did not fly off. I did not have this problem with my own personal set so I can't really comment on this other than check the fit before tackling a project using your sockets and these extension bits.

I also thought of another use for these extensions bits was in a nut driver. If you have a 1/4 inch nut driver you could technically use these and your sockets to have an unlimited array of nut drivers in one. This is great for hard to reach areas where a power tool is not optional or if you only need a nut hand tightened. Anyways I still really love this product and the price is definitely great.

Socket Bit Hex Shank Adapter Drill Nut Driver Power Extension Bar 3pc Set 1/4" 3/8" 1/2" for Automotive,DYI and Home Repair Tool Kits by Bastex Review:

They turn all of my regular wireless drivers (and drill and cord drill) into some kind of expensive impact drivers.
it helps a lot to speed up the opening. however initial loosening (and final tightening) still have to be done with socket wrench and or torque wrench, but only for tough application. For most regular application, just turn the tightening power selector on your wireless drill to desirable level, and that is it. it is amazing how this small items can help our work.

Extension Bar Set, 4 pc. 1/4" Drive, 3", 4", 6", & 9" Review:

These are easily as well-finished and strong as Craftsman extensions, at a fraction of the price. I don't experiment with cheaper tools often, but for 1/4" drive I can't see any downside as long as they look, feel, and fit like quality pieces. This is my second set of 1/4" extensions - the first set was so nice I bought another for me other set of tools out at the airport. Hard to have too many extensions !!

Rocaris 10 Pack Magnetic Extension Socket Drill Bit Holder 1/4" Hex Power Tools Review:

These aren't the best bitholders you can buy,
but its worth it for 10 usable holders for $8.99.

I've switched to the Makita impact torsion style bitholders for my commonly used tips,
but these are great to set up with lesser used tips so they're mounted up and ready to use,
without wasting a $5 bitholder on an oddball tip you might only use a couple times a year.

They're also great when you lend out tips,
so it's not the end of the world if you don't get them back.

Magnets are ok, holding the tip and most screws in well.

The case they came in is actually perfect to hold my good tips and bitholders in,
but I had to make up a little duct tape sleeve for it, to keep it from opening up in the toolbag.
