About a year ago, I purchased this speaker with an Amazon gift card. The speaker has an incredibly loud sound. I've used it in the shower, at the lake, on my boat, in the garage, and strapped to off-road vehicles, as well as when floating in the pool on the small raft they supply. With the amount of bass that can be accommodated by the driver size, the sound is clear. With the NFC tap capability, Bluetooth communication is straightforward. Additionally, I've tried the aux port, which performs equally well. I would continue using Bluetooth while keeping the flaps closed near water.The Bluetooth connection on my speaker abruptly broke around six months after I purchased it. I tried a few different gadgets, but none of them helped. When I emailed support@aomais.com, they quickly sent me a replacement along with a return label for the broken speaker. Instead of a refurb as anticipated, the replacement arrived in a fresh new package with all the attachments.I have to give this person a perfect score for value, effectiveness, and support.

I've read previous reviews and can say that so far, I'm quite satisfied. For my portable DVD player and other non-Bluetooth gadgets, I wanted a wired speaker. The speaker feels quite sturdy and produces a strong sound—it doesn't sound like a cheap plastic toy at all. I appreciate how the USB charging connector is covered to keep dirt out and how the audio wire connection coils inside the speaker for out-of-the-way storage. The provided mini-USB charging cable charges the device swiftly. When it is charging, a red light is on; when it is finished, the light is off. The volume is controlled by your device, but there is an on/off switch on the bottom. When completely extended, the cable measures around 2 feet long. I'm updating what I previously wrote. The customer service at this business is exceptional! They got wind of my review, got in touch with me, and shipped me a replacement pillow speaker gratis. The new speaker is really effective, and the sound is powerful and clear. The initial one I got may have been flawed. I would now suggest this business and this speaker.Can't hear a thing, would love to use this under my pillow. You can use it three different ways, according to the instructions: within your pillow case, on the bed above your pillow, or under your pillow. Red marker has been checked on the inside of your pillow case instructions. That way, you can hear the volume, but you're also lying on a firm speaker. Lackluster comfort. Would not advise.

Music emerges more naturally than is typical for these types of items due to a relatively flat response curve. The majority of the opposition is terribly and hopelessly colored. The designers' decision to tilt the drivers outwards to maximize the perceived stereo impact is the drawback, in my opinion. This results in you being off axis for a significant chunk of the highs and never on axis if you listen to the center of the speakers, which is how they were intended to be heard.

When I was ten years old, my grandfather gifted one to me. I was able to listen to a lot of late-night radio at that crucial time without my parents finding out, and that helped shape who I am now. Unfortunately, I forgot about it because I was older and my parents didn't closely check my listening habits at the time. I currently listen to podcasts religiously as I drift off to sleep. This speaker's design reminds me of something from my youth. Slim, horizontal side speaker ports with a 3.5" connection and remarkably clean sound. If you're ten and your parents don't like the music you like, get this. Buy it for your grandchild if you're a grandparent. Now that I'm an audio engineer, I believe this has influenced my career choice.

The only drawback so far is that when listening to ambient or zen music, you can hear the water tapping on the inside. It is not audible when listening to other loud music.
